Great property beautifully furnished and equipped with lots of special Christmas touches. Kim is a great host who responds really promptly to queries. I can’t recommend this properly highly enough for a Christmas break.

The house was ideal for our family of four. Three large bedrooms (two en suite and one luxurious bathroom for all), and a lovely living and eating space downstairs. The house had everything we needed and it's central location made it simple to go shopping, get a coffee, or go out for a meal. The Dales are on your doorstep and the Lake District is a 30 minute drive. We could not have been happier with our choice of lodging. Kim was a gracious and very responsive owner -- I'm pretty sure she has thought of everything, but if not, she was ready to take care of any issues that arose.
My only word of advice is about parking. There is no specific parking for the house and street parking is hard to come by. There is a community lot a five minute walk which worked fine for us and had the bonus of being next to the lovely Booth grocery store.

We had a wonderful stay in Kirkby Lonsdale! Kimberley was an excellent host, answering concerns and questions quickly and her recommendations for dinner and activities were spot on. Lovely little town filled with friendly, helpful people. So thankful that we got to experience that part of England!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kim's gorgeous house in Kirkby Lonsdale. It really is a 'home from home' and has everything you could need during your stay! It might be an old cottage but everything in it is to a high standard, you'd never know. We didn't actually eat out much as the lounge/dining area is so cosy, plus there's a Booths a 5 or so minutes walk away.
The house is also a stone's throw away from the bars and restaurants which is great but our one piece of advice would be to book a cream tea at least 24 hours in advance if you want one at the Royal Hotel!

Lovely house in great location
Communication with owner was excellent. Great house with loads of pubs, cafes and shops directly on the door step. Good walks. Parkingnisnt an issue, we parked round the corner at the church but 100m further up and the yellow lines stop and parking is free

Family get-together in Kirkby Lonsdale & Cumbria
5 Beck Head, Kirkby Lonsdale is a terraced house with character. The house has been remodelled and modernised and is beautifully finished and furnished. A great base in a historic and very attractive market town. Kirkby has plenty to offer in terms of landscape, walking, great pubs and restaurants as well as local shops on your doorstep.

Lovely town house
Comfortable, clean, well situated house in this beautiful town, close to some lovely pubs/cafes eg The Sun Inn, The Milking Parlour. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with utensils etc. Nice touch adding the DVDs and games.
Wasn't a problem for us, but I'd assumed "dryer" on the description meant tumble dryer rather than the clothes rack that was provided.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay in this delightful, tastily decorated home, that had everything we could ever need. Parking was very easy, and the Yorkshire Dales, right on the doorstep - incredibly beautiful. We will be back one day...

Fabulous
The house is beautifully decorated throughout and has a lovely homely feel to it. It has every home comfort you could wish for and is spotlessly clean the location is superb right in the heart of Kirby Lonsdale with restaurants shops and wine bars right on your doorstep and lovely walks nearby

Beautiful, cosy, luxury cottage in the Heart of the Village
We absolutely loved this cottage!
It is beautifully decorated with lots of tasteful decorations and cozy furniture. It's situated in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale, giving it a perfect setting to visit all the local walks, restaurants and pubs.
We found the cottage to be a really relaxing place to unwind and were very impressed by Kim's attention to detail both in terms of her thoughtful communications but also in the cottage's facilities and food provisions.
We have no hesitation whatsover to recommend this cottage to others. You will certainly enjoy it!
A point to note: we never had any issue finding a free parking place near to the cottage and we visited in peak season.

Perfect location and property, clean, easy to feel at home and enjoy all that Cumbria has to offer. Hopefully be back next year, can definitely recommend.

Beautiful house and great stay
The house was perfect for us and the kids, everything we needed was supplied and the location was very handy, 2 doors from the butcher, 3 doors from the pub. Kirkby Lonsdale is beautiful with an amazing view and walk on the other side of the church and no shortage of pubs. Getting a park anywhere near the house is interesting but was fine to drop off and pick up outside the front door. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was as stated in the details of the property. Great communication with owners..place is lovely. Thank you for the recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. We visited many of the restaurants and even did the waterfall hike and caves. Perfect environment for our family gathering. Would highly recommend a stay there..Thank you.

Great house
Kirkby Lonsdale is great position for touring the Lakes and Dales with easy walking in evenings for pubs restaurants.Kim made us feel very welcome in her home and the house is lovely clean and spacious with 3 good size bedrooms and bathrooms.

Lovely, spacious townhouse in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale
We had a wonderful stay in Kim's house! It's a really comfortable townhouse with lots of space and great attention to detail. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and the living areas cosy. Kim thoughtfully left a fire ready to light, some local goodies in a basket, and very good instructions and information about the house and surrounding areas. You open the front door and it's a few steps to lots of great restaurants, small independent shops and everything you might need. Kim was available and responsive to any questions we had, and let us know in advance about events going on in the town while we were visiting. We loved it, and would highly recommend it.

This property was absolutely amazing, we felt very at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay in Kirkby Lonsdale. The house is finished to a very high standard and very clean. It was very cozy and welcoming. The owner was very helpful and always happy to help and quick to respond. The area in which the house is, was perfect we had everything we needed on the doorstep, fantastic butchers, lovely pubs, bakery and our favourite Booths supermarket was only a 5 minute walk. We all enjoyed a short walk to Ruskin’s view which was beautiful even my 8 year old daughter loved it and went every morning for a walk there. We have all fell in love with Kirkby Lonsdale and will definitely be revisiting and would love to stay in this fantastic home again too.

Fabulous house beautifully furnished so well kitted out and superb location
Did not disappoint furnished to a very high standard , could walk everywhere did not required the car , river Lune behind the property for walks yet pubs resturaunts shops also 2 minutes from property highly recommend will definitely return.

Fantastic homey house in the centre of Kirby Londsdale
The property is fitted out beautifully. The large open plan kitchen/ lounge on the ground floor makes the property very sociable and good for a big group. It was absolutely spotless and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival with fresh bread, eggs and milk. I would highly recommend the property and would definitely return - brilliant value for money.
