this was the perfect place for our friends to stay for a wedding at Eagles Nest. It was close to the gondola and had all the amenities of home. The kitchen was fantastic, the hot tub was relaxing and the surroundings were beautiful. We will be back!

One of the most well stocked kitchens I have ever stayed in. For someone who likes to cook, that was a wonderful feature of this place. Gabriel was very responsive to any questions we had and a great host. Would highly recommend this place!

The perfect setting for our girls weekend. A beautiful home in an incredible setting, with all the amenities and comforts we could ask for. We really appreciated the long table for big meals together.

Even though we booked at the end of the ski season kicking horse did not disappoint and either did the house we loved our stay all aspects......

Wonderful accommodations! Spacious and fully equipped . Not quite ski in and ski out, but it worked out quite well.

Amazing space, well designed, modern. Kitchen and dining area was fabulous for family meals with our large group. Kids loved watching movies on the projector screen. Ski in/out proximity excellent for KMRH. Would book again!!

Nothing but praise for this property, property manager and owners! gorgeous home that is very well taken care of, instruction binder that is a little intimidating but has everything you need to know (except maybe the route to the ski in) and very responsive manager. We were three families with teenagers and this property was top drawer! Great memories were made.

Beautiful, clean, modern, CONVENIENT! Pretty much ski in/ ski out. Great views of the mountain. HOT, well maintained jacuzzi. And, to top it off, we had the best host I've experienced with VRBO/Airbnb. The first week of our vacation was spent in Revelstoke. On our way from Calgary to Revelstoke, we were stopped in Golden due to a highway closure on Roger's pass (avalanche mitigation). It was late and all of the hotels were booked. I called Gabe and asked if the Aurora House was booked that night. It was but he quickly went to work to find us a place to sleep for the night. He went above and beyond. The next time we come to Kicking Horse, we will DEFINITELY book the Aurora House!!

Great location and great place

The place was a wonderful treat. We were fortunate enough to get a lot of snow. The management did a great job ensuring that we could all get out of the drive way safely. He got a snow removal company to come right away when we got stuck. It’s a lovely vacation rental and very modern.

Kicking Horse is no modern cabin. Equipped with a generous amount of amenities, your friends and family will never lack entertainment! It was as if I was staying inside a futuristic house, given the technology and compatibility this place has to offer. On top of that, Gabe was a wonderful host, and provided detailed instructions from beginning to end. He made the overall process easier for us and my group and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and WILL be coming back :)

Gabriel’s home is so beautiful in modern style with beautiful view outside, all equipments are quite good. We spent very good time here. It was the best experience in this trip.

We had a family wedding that we were attending and we were looking for a big place to fit our needs. The pictures of the house looked great and the size fit our needs for 12 adults. When we arrived the place was very clean and beautiful inside with a lot of room for everyone to relax and take in the view. Everyone said that the beds were very comfortable and had no issues sleeping. When we come back to Golden, we will be looking at renting this place again and I will be recommending this location to other people.

Every part of our stay, from booking to leaving was amazing. The house is SO nice and has so many amenities. Would HIGHLY recommend! We will be back at some point!

From the time I arrived until my departure I felt at home and at ease. For those looking to get in some serious skiing, the property makes it easy with a drying rack for 10+ pairs of boots, ski and gear storage and close proximity to multiple lifts on the mountain. Layout is welcoming and group friendly, with plenty of places to lounge and relax when needed. A++ rating

Once again, Gabriel came through with an unparalleled level of service, and provided us with the perfect house. Plenty of living space, a fully equipped kitchen, and bbq area provided all of the comforts of home that one would seek after an incredible day at one of the best ski hills that Canada has to offer. The skiing was fantastic, as was the apres ski soak in the outdoor hot tub. Would highly recommend this place, and definitely plan on going there again.

Stayed in this gorgeous house for a wonderful extended weekend with some friends. A 2 minute walk to the ski access path made getting to and from the hill simple and easy. Despite the cooler temps, the snowboarding was still awesome and the hot tub was great way to relax and let the legs recover after a day on the hill. The sound system wired throughout the main floor and beautiful kitchen was great for listening to tunes after dinner while hanging out. Lots of room to spread out in the house and the lighting is definitely a cool feature. It was nice to show up to and have everything in place that was needed for a comfortable holiday ( kitchen supplies, separate towels and flip flops for the hot tub, DVDs for the theatre room). I'll definitely make the long haul back here from Peace River again!

Amazing property! don't believe we had any major issues. One thing we noticed was the bar accent lighting wasn't working. We managed to fix it. Was just a loose wire or two. The home is absolutely stunning. We did our best to keep it clean as well. We especially enjoyed the hand knit slippers and were very impressed with the neatness and organization of everything including the binder you made. I grabbed your card, & will 100% be returning in the future. Hopefully when the resort is open for skiing.

Beautiful home located directly on Kicking Horse Mountain. Very well kept, modern, and spacious. Fully equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. Can't wait to stay here again!

This place has it all. Plenty of rooms to choose from to sit and read, watch movies, listen to music, and just plain hang out with friends in a mountain setting. We visited in the shoulder season so the ski hill was closed to mountain biking and not ready for ski season, but the close access to the local trails still provided some awesome riding in the beautiful fall scenery. The high end kitchen and BBQ on the deck made cooking easy with a nice big dining area to relax in and socialize after playing outside. Everything we needed as far as toiletries, bedding, and towels was in place and the fancy shower was refreshing after a chilly, muddy day in the woods. A real treat was the theatre room in the downstairs area. A true movie experience with the big sound and projector screen. Sitting out on the back deck with my morning coffee and enjoying the peaceful setting was also a great way to start the day. My only concern was the comfortable bed and cozy blankets that made getting up early difficult and might impact getting first tracks when I return for the powder this winter!
