We came down on a surprise trip for my girlfriend’s birthday. Robin was so helpful in setting up our stay and the 1:1 llama experience and tour. My girlfriend was beside herself when we arrived and there were llamas in the yard. She thought we’d just get a basic tour of the grounds and couldn’t believe that Robin spent so much time teaching about the the animals and training us to help with the llamas. We had such an amazing time with all the animals and my girlfriend hasn’t stopped talking about the trip since we left. Robin was an amazing host and Gerrie’s place was comfortable and a perfect weekend home. You owe it to yourself to check out the ranch and schedule a tour!!

It always feels like we’re visiting close family and friends when we stay at this property. The hosts are very friendly and the animals are always fun to watch and enjoy.

It is so entertaining and relaxing watching and hearing the various animals getting along on the ranch. Llamas, alpacas, pigs, turtles, ducks, emus, turkeys, chickens, sheep and goats, just to name a few. The owners are like extended family to us.

Neat place to get away for a few days. Allows multiple dogs with no size or breed restrictions and that allowed me to bring my pups with me for the trip. The rental was convenient to the places I wanted to go around cypress and it provided a unique experience. Robin was friendly and provided a warm welcome along with information about the location and animals there. I loved sitting out on the porch and seeing all of the different animals nearby. This was a clean, calm and relaxing place to stay. Robin had taken great care to provide all the items you need To make your stay comfortable. It worked perfectly for my needs and I plan to return for future visits!

I had the best time here. The place is really magical, peaceful and so serene. You have animals right in your backyard! They each have their own story of how they came to be at this rescue ranch. You can sit on your lovely covered back porch in one of the comfy rockers and just watch all the animals or stand on the porch and pet or feed the animals. Every morning I got up and went out to the porch and was greeted by the entire menagerie wanting treats. Robin, the owner provides some treats but I also brought some with me. The animals were all very friendly. The cottage was super-cute and spotless. Robin and Ruby (owners) were both as personable and helpful as could be, yet they weren’t intrusive. They have a really cute gift shop on the property that has very unique and hand made items. I bought a rug and a poncho made from alpaca fur. The proceeds from the gift shop and room rental fees go to the care of the animals so it’s a win/win. If you’re thinking about going, don’t think about it, just go. You’ll have an amazing time there!

Gerrie’s place was warm and inviting. Robin was a very welcoming host and made sure all of our needs were met! The house was clean, spacious, and ready for us to enjoy the weekend!

Robin, Ruby & Sean were the best hosts! So friendly and always checked in to make sure we were comfortable and having fun. Robin taught us so much in the long weekend that we were there. She even gave us the best recommendations for places to eat around town and fun places we should visit! I highly recommend signing up for the one on one llama experience! We had the best time learning and getting to know our llamas one on one! We even got to stop in the gift shop and purchase a few handmade llama souvenirs! The place was everything we could’ve asked for. It was clean, cozy, safe, and had everything we needed and more for our long weekend stay! Every morning my friend and I got up to feed our animals in the front yard and bonded with every single one of them. We enjoyed how excited they were when we greeted them on the porch with a handful of carrots and some treats! We’re gonna miss our furry friends. We look forward to returning to Gerrie’s place as soon as possible! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway for my 22nd birthday!

I absolutely loved this little home away from home. Robin and Ruby were very welcoming and a joy to talk to. The home is amazing and just as pictured. It's amazing to sit on the back porch and chat with the animals. I'll definitely be staying again!

We had a great time staying in the cottage and befriending all of the animals. Our dogs loved the laid back feel and felt very comfortable even though it was a totally new place for them. The cottage was clean and Robin was always around to lend a helping hand (or ear) if needed. We're glad that Figment Ranch was our first stop in the journey of relocating to Texas

Robin, Ruby & Sean were excellent hosts, beyond friendly and helpful. Gerries’s Place was very clean and stocked with enough to satisfy your needs. It was so wonderful to get up each morning to the different animals and to be able to give them treats every day. We have every intention of returning to these visit these wonderful people.

Robin and Ruby are wonderful, easy and fun to talk with in calm moments around their responsibilities. And, if I had more space, more alpaca rugs would have come home with me. Leslie

Had a great stay at Gerrie's Place 1! The property was very clean with many personal touches that made a great stay amazing! Location to local stores, restaurants etc. was great! Loved! Loved! Loved! The back porch! This place is a dream for any animal lovers! Each morning we enjoyed our coffee on the spacious porch! Our pups made new friends right in our backyard with the pigs, turkeys, a goat, a sheep and a llama! Thanks for an amazing stay! We can't wait to come back!

Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Gerrie’s Place!

This was the second time I stayed at Gerrie’s Place. I had just sold my home and needed a place to stay temporarily until my new place was ready. I had passed Figment Ranch many times and always wondered about it. This was more than I imagined! What started out as just a place to stay turned into my home-away-from-home. I felt like family as I came back! Robin and Ruby were great at reading people. They were discreet but open at the same time. I would get a text to be sure I made it in comfortably and didn’t need anything and they always came by to say hi when I was sitting on the porch! I also wanted to mention how comfortable and cool the bedroom was. The AC was perfect and kept a quiet rumble in case you didn’t want to hear the rooster;) I personally did! I especially liked the fresh cut roses in the kitchen window when I arrived. The animals, of course, were I highlight for f my morning and evenings. They had plenty of treats but for still felt the need to get a few extra carrots and apples when I went to the store! If you are not from the area, everything is located close by. I preferred to grocery shop but there are plenty of restaurants and fast food near the mall. This was truly a bit of ranch life hidden in the suburbs!
