House Panarea is a wonderful house in an amazing location, right next to the sea! The views from the house are stunning. The house itself is very large and full of character. We do a lot of self catering and I can honestly say I have never been to a place this well stocked! Literally everything you need is here. Adriana and Giorgio gave us a very warm welcome with sweets for our girls which was very much appreciated. The house is in a very good location, easy access to Modica, Scicli etc. We had a great holiday!

Uitstekend uitgangspunt voor alle soorten vakantie. Veel mooie steden in de omgeving, rust op het strandje en fantastisch uitzicht op zee. Goed ingericht huis . Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren.

Das Haus Panarea in Marina di Modica ist ein schönes und sehr gepflegtes Haus. Die Gastgeber Adriana und Giorgio sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich und familiär empfangen. Wir ( 2 Erwachsene und drei Kinder) sind müde und spät in der Nacht nach einer langen Reise angekommen. Wir hatten etwas Sorge, um die Schlüsselübergabe, weil wir wussten, dass es spät werden würde. Nachdem wir unsere Gastgeber Adriana und Giorgio informiert hatten, haben sie uns beruhigt und haben uns trotz später Stunde persönlich vor Ort empfangen. Sie hatten sogar Getränke im Kühlschrank für uns kaltgestellt, und im Schrank standen ein Päckchen Pasta, etwas Tomatensosse und ein paar leckere Dolci von der örtlichen Konditorei zum Nachtisch bereit. Es war wie zu Hause ankommen bei Mama. Und überhaupt, das Haus ist super bestückt. Zusätzlich zum normalem Equipment ( Töpfe, Geschirr etc.) warteten flauschige Handtücher, Geschirrtücher, Spülmitel und sogar Duschgel auf uns. Alles Dinge, die man nach der Ankunft erst mühsam im Supermarkt kaufen und organisieren muss. Ausserdem steht eine moderne Waschmaschine zur Verfügung. Bei drei Kindern ein Segen. Leider fehlt noch eine Spülmaschine... Aber man kann nicht alles haben... Trotzdem, das Haus Panarea ist Urlaub von der ersten Minute an. Das Schönste aber ist der Blick aufs Meer. Das Meer ist der ständige Begleiter. Nachts wiegt einen das sanfte Rauschen der Wellen in den Schlaf, tagsüber begeistert der überwältigende Blick auf das tiefblaue Wasser und lädt zum Eintauchen ins kühle Nass ein. Herrlich. Der Sandstrand von Marina di Modica ist ca. 300 m entfernt und zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Die Spiaggia ist gut ausgestattet. Es sind Duschen und Toiletten vorhanden und auch für Verpflegung ( unbedingt die leckere Zitronengranita probieren, eine sizilianische Spezialität!!!) ist gesorgt. Der Strand ist überwiegend frei, so dass man kostenlos baden und sonnenbaden kann. Übrigens Sonnenschirm und Klappstühle für den Strand gibt es im Haus Panarea. Ein toller Service von Adriana und Giorgio. Unser Fazit: Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wenn man etwas mehr Action haben möchte, kann man Abends zu Fuß in die Disko oder man besucht das abendliche Treiben in der Ortsmitte von Marina. Ein Besuch des Namensgebenden Barockstädtchen Modica ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehenswert ist u.A. die Chiesa San Giorgio, mit dem gleichnamigen Schutzpatron. In Modica gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

We had a great vacation of 2 weeks at House Panarea. The house has everything that you can possibly expect or need: it's super clean, is well equipped and offers great comfort. The amazing location so close to the Mediterranean Sea makes the holiday an unforgettable experience.Anyone looking for a relaxing time will be happy here. There are some extraordinary restaurants nearby, as well as a nice sandy beach and within an hour driving the most charming little towns to explore. Add to all that the friendliness and perfect hospitality of the owners, Giorgio and Adriana, and you'll have the ingredients for a truly wonderful vacation.

Raramente ho trovato una sistemazione per le vacanze praticamente perfetta. Prima di tutto: la posizione. E' veramente a 6-7 metri dal mare, quindi è come disporre di una spiaggia privata, in pochi secondi si torna a casa. il mare è il grande protagonista: le finestre del salone e della cucina e i balconi danno sul mare, consentendo una vista stupenda sia la mattina che la notte. Sotto la casa c'è uno spazio completamente coperto dove è possibile mangiare, riposarsi, leggere...etc. Un discorso a parte merita la casa: l'arredamento è nuovissimo e molto curato, inoltre è fornita di tutto il necessario. E' presente il Wi-Fi, le lampade anti zanzare (in realtà molto poche), le sedie per il mare, insomma tutto il necessario. i proprietari infine (oltre a farci trovare bibite fresche, un kit alimentare e un cabaret di pasticcini) sono stati sempre disponibili per qualsiasi esigenza. Insomma, noi ci torneremo sicuramente, abbiamo trascorso due settimane magnifiche. Assolutamente consigliabile.

Our family of 6 persons spent in Panarea house for 5 weeks. We have enjoyed every single day. The house is perfectly located just in front of the sea. Every day cooking, having breakfast or dinner, lying in the bedroom, staying in a living room or in the garden you enjoy beautiful views on the Mediterranean during day or night. And not just the sea - we enjoyed views of ships, ferries crossing Mediterranean waters and disappearing over the horizon. The beach just in front of the house is a real surprise!!! Sandy sea bottom just few stones when entering (better with slippers). Official beach is 300 meters away going by calm streets, clean sand, shallow sea - perfect with small children. If windy you always could choose beach with no wind and waves either official beach or beach in front of the house. The house is very clean and cozy. All is made with love and with a big open heart. The house was equipped much more than standard. We never ever met such hospitable owners. The owners met us with all their family. They always worried if all is fine with us, if we have any problems and always tried to solve them. We were surprised about beauty of the towns located nearby. Modica, Scicli, Noto, Ragusa are charming town with its unrepeatable beauty. It is necessary to have a car. This vacation will stay for a long time in our memories. With no doubts we would like to return there again.
