Wonderful chalet for a large family in a quiet spot in La Clusaz - highly recommendable

Fantastic place - spacious and comfortable and really well-equipped - it’s obviously lived-in and not just rented out. It’s set over four floors, with an amazing TV room (“the theatre”) in the basement, and is easily big enough to accommodate two families with grown-up kids, but retains a welcoming and cozy feel despite its size.
It’s within walking distance of La Clusaz, which was a real selling point for us, although the 15-minute uphill walk back to the property will keep you fit if you do it regularly!
Our stay was marked by unseasonably hot weather (approaching 40 degrees down in Annecy), and the upstairs bedrooms did get very hot, even with the shutters closed during the day. However, it’s fair to say that this is a general issue with Alpine chalets - they’re primarily built for the winter and air conditioning is not a thing in this area - yet. The TV room was the star on the really hot days - it stayed cool in all conditions.
All in all, highly recommended.

Excellent stay in this warm , spotless house, with a large movie room, a great living area and a delightful hot tub.
The location is great for skiing once we found our feet and worked buses out. Warning though: ski bus ends at 6 pm which meant a long uphill walk from bottom part of village if you go out at night.

We loved to stay at chalet des Enfant. It was exactly how we expected it to be. A great place to stay with a group or family with the ski area in front of the chalet and the village on a 15 minute walk.

Super séjour au Chalet des Enfants en famille pour passer les fêtes de Noël. Chalet spacieux, cosy, impeccable, idéalement situé pour aller à pied à la Clusaz, partir à ski ou monter au plateau des confins pour le ski de fond. Clairement une adresse que nous gardons en tête si nous devons revenir dans le coin !

Propriété conforme à nos attentes
Un chalet très spacieux, idéal pour une grande famille (espace de vie largement suffisant pour 2 familles avec enfants), et parfaitement situé. Le jacuzzi a été fort apprécié, ainsi que la possibilité de stationnement pour 3 voitures. La salle de jeux au niveau inférieur est très appréciée des petits (et des parents pour la tranquillité qu'elle procure!!). La proximité du centre village est également un argument dans le choix de ce chalet.
Malgré la fermeture des remontées, nous avons pratiqué de nombreuses activités : randonnée, luge, free style et même ski lorsque l'accès aux pistes était possible par navette.
Clients de ce chalet pour la troisième année, nous y avons toujours apprécié l'accueil de l'équipe locale.

Toujours parfait
Cela fait 6 ans que nous louons ce chalet pour sa situation excellente avec des enfants. Cette année, malgré l'absence des remontées mécaniques, nous avons profité à fond du domaine et découvert les raquettes.

Le chalet correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos du site. Un lieu reposant pour les parents et idéalement agencé pour les enfants avec une superbe pièce de détente et de jeux pour eux. Merci à Janelle pour son accueil et la délicate attention de bienvenue des propriétaires (produits du terroir). Nous avons eu la chance de profiter de la météo ensoleillée du mois d'octobre, avec toutes les saisons en une journée: apéro au soleil en terrasse, balades sous des couleurs orangées magnifiques, et pour très bien terminer: bataille de boule de neige sur les hauteurs pour les jeunes et moins jeunes redevenus des enfants!

Le Chalet des Enfants est très bien placé, proche du village tout en étant au calme.
Pour les petits enfants nous avons apprécié la piste de luge juste à côté. L'accueil fut excellent. Tout était parfait.

Beautifully finished chalet in a quiet position on the edge of the village, has absolutely everything you would need for your stay. When we arrived the cleaning team had finished and every room was immaculate.
I could not think of one thing that had not been provided for a fantastic holiday. Janelle was very helpful, personable and efficient providing assistance and local knowledge. Very quiet location, ideal for a family. The hot tub was amazing at the end of the day. The chalet is very well set up and ideal for extended families to share.

Beautiful, clean and comfy
Chalet des Enfants is a beautiful chalet, extremely well equipped for a self catering stay in la Clusaz. The chalet was lovely and clean on arrival and plenty space for the 9 of us. It was extremely cosy in living quarters. The hot tub was great, and easy to operate.

Spacious and comfortable rental
Its position in resort is great, despite not being able to ski in ski out. All the slopes were accessible. The size of the ski area is fantastic. Easy driving distance and good roads.

Everything we needed to relax
We had a brilliant week in La Clusaz, a great chalet with everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves on a skiing holiday. Location couldn't be beaten with a very short walk to the piste for access to lifts and a 10 minute walk into town for shopping and restaurants, great not to have to get in a car at all!

The chalet really does look as on the pictures. Spacious and offers plenty of room for everyone to have their space if needed. Kitchen is well equipped, location is good (15min walk to the centre, 10min to first bakery). We had a pleasant stay!

Perfect venue for a screen-writing weekend!
It's warm and cosy and has an excellent well-equipped kitchen. The fireplace and supply of wood were great. The kitchen/living room was a really comfortable area for the group. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Lots of fridge space and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the nice walking in the snow, so early for the season, and the easy access to La Clusaz.
