The Internet did not work amazing in the room - it was ok for basic stuff but I needed to work a bit

Decent place to meet other travellers and socialise. Good sized lockers in bedrooms is always a plus. Reasonable facilities for cooking. Not too far from the main central hub with amenities and tour operators. Staff were friendly and helpful and we socialised on a night out while I was there.

The dorm door didn’t shut properly which was more a slight issue with temperature control on a cool night, although the hostel has a locked gate manned by reception. Very limited number of toilets/ showers to 1 for each floor shared by several dorms. inevitably it’s harder to keep such places clean.

The hostel had a great terrace for chilling and hanging out. The beds were quite comfortable and the place was clean. There was a cozy cinema room.

There were quite some internal problems of the volunteers and team, who were constantly fighting and also leaving. The beds had flees! It was known but noone really cared. The first room of 6 beds was extremely tiny. After 10 pm it was not allowed to be on the terrace talking, which was definitely the hang out place.

but the kitchen and bathroom were disgusting. Spent two nights there.

A very nice place to meet other travelers. The Lady at check in was very kind and friendly. She tried her best to help me in her broke English and she listened to my broken spanish. Would definitely stay again

The bathroom was always busy. Too many rooms for one main bathroom

Good price for nice beds with view on the valley.

WiFi isn't always great in the rooms. Lockers are too small if you're a backpacker.

Fantastic staff, roomy beds with drapes and really good comunal areas. Bathroom on third floor has a fantastic view of the city in the shower

Rooms where somewhat poorly cleaned and some things needed fixing (window in room 14 for example)

Smelly, cramped, and small rooms, freezing cold showers, WiFi did no't work. We decided to leave the property a day early due to terrible facilities. The owner not only rejected our complaints, he then threatened us with police when we didn't want to pay the final night AS WE WERE LEAVING. Never had such a terrible hostel experience in years of travel in South America. If you HAVE to stay here on your trip to Baños due to it being the cheaper hostel, don't book any more than one night. Spend a couple more dollars and go somewhere else.

Very clean and well maintained hostel, nice atmosphere, many common spaces and many travelers to meet. There is a curtain for the bed in the dormitory and locker. It also has a good location, in the city centre.

Super homey and social vibe!

Responsive personal, breakfast; there is a kitchen where you can cook. Close to the bus station and the center.

Super fun people! We did a super bowl viewing party, went as a group to Casa del Arbol, and there are a lot of good hangout spaces.

Slightly farther from town than other hostels, but not a big deal
