Clean place, with many coffee shops, restaurants, cools spots walkable. Would stay again.

Great little place. Loved the location. Only things that could be improved would be a bigger bathroom and shower and smaller kitchen. And rug under bed. It also smelled like smoke when AC wasn’t on (when we first got there).

The property is close to the beach, but on a main highway. The garage parking spot is too small for a small SUV and only big enough for a small car so we parked on the street. It wasn't a problem, but could be in the peak of summer.

So glad we decided to come…b/c the weather was going to be bad, we contemplated cancelling - it didn’t work out to cancel & we’re so glad it didn’t! What a beautiful place, the peninsula & so close to the beach & restaurants! Janet’s home was perfect for the two of us as opposed to a hotel that just gives you beds to sleep in & bathrooms! We loved the conveniences of home: the little living room, full kitchen, a little garage & lots of storage! For the most part, it was quiet where we were but could hear the neighbors a few times. As the reviews said, the home was very clean which made it that much more comfortable to stay there. We so appreciate getting to stay in your home, Janet, thank you for letting us stay there & for being so attentive to our questions! We loved staying here!

I stayed here for a week while visiting family in the area. This studio, while basic, had everything I needed and is great for one person. It was clean and the owners communicated well. I had no problem finding convenient street parking. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our almost week long stay. The location could not be better. It was also nice to have a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage for the 2 of us.

This place was perfect for what we needed: really close to the beach, full kitchen and local shopping nearby. We had some terrible neighbors our last night and the traffic was heavy for most of our stay.

It was close so I could drive home and work on projects that had to get done. Workaholic perfect vacation

We had a great visit to one of our favorite places in CA. This unit is perfect for a couple. Well stocked unit including beach chairs and boogie boards. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. We rented a Fiat 500 from Turo that fit perfectly into the garage. We always rent bikes from 20th St Beach and Bikes, great prices and you can easily ride anywhere from Balboa Island to Huntington. They also rent SUPs you can launch just across the street.

Apartment with everything you need to spends relaxing days at the beach. Large window to watch the world go by. Hope to get there soon again!

This compact studio was very conveniently located to the beach. We had the front unit with windows facing the shared courtyard. The weather was nice for us, so we used the courtyard a lot for our meals. So nice to have the little kitchen. The bed was comfortable. We never had a problem finding parking within a block of the unit.

Perfect for two people. Easy walk to Newport Beach and Balboa.

The property was great, and in a nice location. Parking was not an issue while we were there just after the Christmas holiday. TV was great, kitchen very functional - not stocked with any pantry items, but nice gas stove and everything you need for cookware. Things to know: you share the front area with other apartments, and there is washer/dryer onsite but they require coins and detergent.

This was our third stay and won't be our last. Perfect setup and location for us. We drive from Scottsdale, AZ, and brought our bikes this trip, which was the best decision. Newport Beach, Balboa, etc. are so bike-friendly that we didn't use our car during the trip. The apartment is spotless, comfortable, and quiet with access to beach, restaurants, and bike trails.

Great place for a getaway in Newport Beach. We rented bikes from 15th St Surf & Supply (2 blocks away) and biked everywhere. Newport Coffee Company is amazing (even for a coffee snob like me), Harborside Restaurant and Bluewater Grill has great seafood, and if you like salad, get the Oceanfront Salad from Dory Deli. My galley is also fantastic for coffee, breakfast & lunch.

Nice property right on the main road. Beach was across the street and a couple minute walk. We rented a small compact car and it did not fit in garage. Parking along the street was hit and miss and had to pay during certain hours. Beach chairs and boogy boards were in the garage, but a beach umbrella and a cooler would be nice to add too.

This was such a fun spot. The house was perfect for a little getaway. The only thing that became difficult for us was the parking. The garage was too small for our car, so parking on the street became difficult at times. If the property had a parking pass it would have made it a little easier. Overall, so amazing and will stay here again.

This is my third time staying on this property and it never disappoints! Love the kitchen setup and how cozy the space feels. Perfect for a getaway and can't beat the location on the peninsula. The property owners are professional and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

The place is perfect if you’re there for work or on vacation. Conveniently located, so close to the beach and Janet and Denis are so easy to communicate with. This is my first choice when traveling to the area.

Really good experience. Just right size for a couple to enjoy the beach (1 block away). Unit has AC and heat but we didn’t need either. Ceiling fan provided enough airflow. Check in and out a breeze. Used washer and dryer once. They’re located in the garage which is a lot more convenient than a laundromat. Make sure to bring quarters. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our second visit and our favorite getaway apartment did not disappoint. It is the perfect spot for us and even met some local residents. Thanks for a great time.

Clean and perfect amount of space for a couple. Great location walking distance to the beach and many restaurants

Everything was clean and organized from the little to the big things that everyone needs. Just one thing, please needs to replace mattress to avoid killing your back, people needs to wake up like new !!

For the most part we were satisfied with our rental. The pros outweighed the cons. Cons: unrelenting street noise. We had Unit A, which is the closest unit to the street. A patio separates the complex from the street. I wonder if the inner units are quieter? Also, upon returning from excursions, we found the unit hot and stuffy. To remedy this, we had to run AC while away. We would stay at this complex again. Just not in unit A. Also, the garage parking is very tight unless you have a mini car.

This property is wonderful. We stayed here last year (different unit - Balboa Sea Escape) and had so much fun we decided to come back this year. The property has everything you need to have a wonderful stay at the beach. Property owners have done a wonderful job and are very accommodating. Location to the beach is awesome. Already planning on booking at one of the 3 properties next summer. Can't wait!!!
