Tres Piedras really is a stones throw from the beach. Walk across the park, over the road and then down the stone steps to the fabulous beach of Conil. Miles of sand, a wide beach and a very safe swimming environment for children and toddlers. Warm, clean water too! The apartment itself is very well kitted out. It has things from rain umbrellas, to beach umbrellas, to ironing board, to wheeley trolley for supermarket shopping. Comfortable beds (a memory foam double mattress in one of the rooms, another double and a 2 singles in another room). A pleasant balcony with 4 chairs and a table and another balcony where you can hang washing. The flat is 'friendly' for 6, but it's a town flat, so you'd expect not to be able to swing too many cats! We went with 2 kids and grandparents for most of the week, (grandparents left 1/2 way through). On the 'full disclosure' front, the 2 negatives about the flat are; that there is no air conditioning, and the parking in the vicinity is pretty difficult in the height of summer months of July / August. In the summer, the temperatures are around 30-40 degrees, and air conditioning would have made a huge difference to comfort. Regarding the parking, general rule of thumb is to bring all you need (water, beer, heavy goods) at the beginning of your stay, park the car, wherever you can find a space, and just leave the car there for the week! You can then walk up to the supermarket (there's one around 500m up the road) with the wheeley trolley from the apartment on a daily basis to get groceries. Or walk into town (about 500m) for all the restaurants etc. All in all, it is a fab little flat, for which you'd struggle to find something so close to the beach that is paralleled on comfort and convenience.

The apartment delivers what it promises, with the additional, priceless, 'extra' of the delightful owners, who are on hand to make everything easy. I would confidently recommend this apartment to anyone coming to this part of Spain. Conil is lovely for a 'sea, sun and sand' holiday, with a big selection of bars and restaurants. It is worth going for, at least, a day in Cadiz.

Very nice and cool appartment, spacious for 6 people ( 4 children 15 to 19 yrs old) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, located in a quiet appartmentbuilding on the 1st floor. Very wel equipped kitchen. When we arrived, we met owners Andrew and April, they are very nice and easy going people who gave useful tips for exploring the area. The balcony has a nice view to the Atlantic ocean, which is just 200-300m away. In front of appartment building there is nice public place with trees and fitness possibilities, as well as " jeux de boules fields" Also the town of Conil is very nearby, 10 minutes walk maximum. Very nice place to enjoy drinks, eat or shop. On the beautiful beach you can take long walks and swim in fresh ocean waves. Places to visit nearby are all very easy within reach. Velez de la Frontera and Cadiz are very nice. Flamenco is a " must see". We stayed for 1 week and were all sorry to leave. We would certainly strongly recommend this apartment to everyone.

Would thoroughly recommend this apartment. Perfect location - quiet, but easy walk to the town and restaurants and right next to the beach. Lovely views. Very clean and well appointed with everything you might need. Excellent customer service.

We loved the location as we were able to walk to restaurants and the old town of Conil de la Frontera. The owners are so nice and welcoming....we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We were here in low season so there were no crowds at all to contend with, but then again, many stores and restaurants weren't open....that was fine with us. In addition, the weather wasn't ideal for spending time on the beach, but it was great for walking and enjoying the surroundings with a jacket on! I would return again in a minute! We spent 6 very enjoyable weeks in this well equipped and homely apartment in a great location with views of the sea and deserted beach. Some restaurants shut at this time of the year but still several to choose from with lovely food. Several golf courses within 30 minutes. Our hosts were outstanding - so friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. We will be back!

We had a really good week although we were a bit sad about the weather! There was a huge thunderstorm which lasted about 36 hours with torrential rain resulting in flooding. Andrew could not have been more helpful and we soon dried out. The apartment was beautiful and had everything that we needed.

Great views, peaceful surroundings and a well equipped apartment. Very comfortable with a spacious feel.The owners were very friendly and helpful, so all in all a great place to stay in an ideal location.

Although the property sleeps 6 there was only 2 of us , well worth the the cost, loved the place, spotlessly clean and comfy. The location is everything you could want next to park and beach with the best breakfast view off the lounge balcony that made your cornflakes and fresh fruit taste even better. Always quiet. If you want to cook for yourself the place has all cooking equipment you would have at home. We chose to eat out all the time in the town approx 5 mins walk, the local bars are fabulous good food and very reasonably priced, serving goes on late we ate at 10pm most nights . Would recommend going off the main drag into the none touristy areas the bars there are very Spanish , welcoming, and safe. We had a car and parking was never a problem parking outside the apartment . Visited loads of places recommend a beach day at Los Manos De Meca , stay late and the locals come down to the beach bar about 6pm has good music and atmosphere. There is dozens of other good beaches we visited, your spoiled for choice. April and Andrew who own the apartment are always on hand for you and live near by. They were great hosts nothing too much trouble. We even ordered sunshine as an extra and they delivered at no extra charge. Loved the apartment loved Conil we will be back . cheers

From the simple booking procedure to the warm welcome, amazing apartment and superb location we cannot fault this property or its owners April and Andrew. With the beach just yards away, and cosy bars supplying cheap( by UK standards) and fab food ...a ten minute stroll into old Town Conil De La Frontera this whole vacation is outstanding. We had a week there and could have stayed another week easily. Lots to do, we drove to the nearby Sculpture Park and sipped ice cold drinks in the Golf Club House where all visitors to the park are welcome and visited the Roman Ruins just less than half an hour way ...unbelievably intact and located beside a fabulous fish restaurant on the beach to round off the day!... I couldn't recommend this property and location highly enough.

Conil de la Frontera is our favourite holiday place since over 12 years and the Apartment "Las Tres Piedras" is always our first choise since a lot of years. We saw the improvement, step by step, year by year, and we are very pleased to be their every year. Everything is well prepared, clean, modern as well as from quality (and not the common standard) and, last but not least, so cosy. The new kitchen is very well equipped and look's very good and is perfect for cooking/preparing every thing. We had the great pleasure to be the first clients (Dec 2012) after the renovation, so we are happy about the result. All you need is in the Apartment and outside, not far, are the beaches, restaurants, bars, tapa bars, supermarkets and, and and ... Conil is a lovley small andalucien City, surroundet from the (still) real Andalucia, with kilometers of fine and sandy beaches. A lot of historic cities and villages you will find not so far from Conil. Finally we would not forget to say: Thank you very much April and Andrew, for all your hospitality, all the time we went in Conil !!! We returned to this apartment because we love staying there so much but we were thrilled to see the improvements Andrew and April have made to the apartment. We particularly loved the new kitchen, it looks amazing and it is very modern and light. The apartment feels luxurious but is also cosy and feels a real home from home. Views from the terrace are fabulous and the location is perfect! Andrew and April are amazing hosts, the apartment is immaculate and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you - we will return!

Right from the outset from the initial enquiry Andrew was on the ball. He provided us with lots of information and patiently answered lots of our questions. This was the first time my Wife and I had visited this area, and so we was unfamiliar with the area.....And so we promptly got lost! I made the mistake of giving my Wife the map (only kidding). We called the owners, and they immediatly set out on a rescue mission on there scooter to find us at the other end of town. Well stress over we was taken ino las tres piedras. My first impression was that It was larger than I expected from the photographs. It was as though we was visiting them in their home. Not at all like the normal souless rental apartment, this is very special. It has amazing views out of both of the terraces, and the location is perfect for the beach and the old town. There are a number of very good restaraunts within 5 minutes walk, including the amazing beach side Fontanilla. What struck us both was the willingness to help andthe obvious pride that they took in what they did. Thank you Andrew and April for a wonderful stay.....WE WILL BE BACK!!!

This was our third holiday in Conil and " Las Tres Piedras Apartment" The owner is very pleasant and helpful. We felt very welcomed. The apartment is very nice. It is clean and well equipped. The location of the apartment is perfect , near the beach and the city center and there are many good restaurants in the neighbourhood. We recommend the fish restaurants just a few minutes walk from the apartment, next to the Fontinella beach. We enjoyed our stays in Conil very much and would like to come back. We had heard of Conil from our daughter who happened on it in her travels the previous year, so we scoured the internet, took a chance and booked the apartment, as it looked interesting on the website. Little did we know how brilliant the apartment, the owners and Conil would be! The apartment is really well equipped, beautifully furnished with April's fine taste and brilliantly located a few minutes walk from the beach, yet also overlooking the welcome adjacent park with its pine trees giving a lovely shaded walk. The apartment comfortably accommodated the six of us. Andrew and April could not be more welcoming and hospitable and also took a lot of time and trouble to help us out when we got in a bit of a tizz over a parking ticket! The town is a comfortable walk from the apartment with a great atmosphere, particularly in the evening, with plenty to see and do. The nearby bar under the pine trees overlooking the sea, is a great place for a welcome sundowner (or two!). We would thoroughly recommend the apartment to anyone, except we want to keep it a secret - so don't tell anyone! Rom and Jenny Schmidt - London

Having stayed in Conil a number of times previously, this was our first visit to Andy and April's apartment and it didn't disappoint! It is really well-located for both town centre and Fontanilla beach and it has EVERYTHING you could want. They have really thought through what people need and it feels like a home from home. Added to which, they were so welcoming and a great source of information on the best places to eat, etc. We had a fantastic couple of weeks and have already booked a return trip.

My family and I (husband and two children, age 3 and 5 months) stayed at Las Tres Piedras for the month of August 2011. It really felt like home away from home. April and Andrew were fabulous hosts and were a wealth of information during our stay in Conil-they were most helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. The listing description and the photos were accurate; there were no surprises. The view was fantastic as was the access to the beach, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants (although we mostly cooked), and the center of town as long as you don't mind walking. You can get most anywhere in 20 minutes or less (walking). The only challenge during our stay was parking, but that was expected, and truly was not that bad. We appreciated having a car to go explore outside of Conil. We were accustomed to not having air conditioning in the summer so that also was not a problem. There were only a couple of days when we were uncomfortably warm and it was due to a change in the wind-coming from Africa instead of the Atlantic. Everyone in Conil was suffering! We absolutely would recommend this apartment to friends and family and hope to return one day.
