My sister and I brought our parents on a surprise trip to Beaver Island and this was the perfect base for our many adventures. We did not bring a car and it was just a quick walk down the road to shops, museums, restaurants, and the beach. We had bikes that allowed us to travel further out and the host even brought a bike for us to borrow. Despite the convenient location, it was very quiet and we enjoyed our time relaxing on the patio between adventures.

Thank you for another wonderful stay-- so close to town, but when we heard that the Perseid meteor shower was visible, we laid on the deck by the front door and did some sky watching. We could see the milky way! The property is quiet and comfortable.

The layout of the house, bedroom and shower is a little odd, but had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. We were usually out adventuring around the island all day. The location is very convenient to town and more importantly....Daddy Frank's Ice Cream Shop!

My husband and I rented this property for a long weekend, and it was wonderful! Lois and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. The rental was the perfect size for just the two of us (but can also accommodate 2 more), and the location of the property made it an ideal "landing spot" as we explored the community, much of it within easy walking distance. I absolutely recommend this rental!

We had tried to look at the night sky from the south side of the island, but the clouds got on the way. The next night we laid on the deck of this property and could see meteors, satellites, and even the Milky Way! It’s a lovely location, and we enjoyed our time there.

The property was in a great, quiet location. It could use some repairs and updates, such as hooks for towels and brighter bathroom lighting. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We were lucky enough to meet our host host and is a very thoughtful and kind person.

The spot is located right next to downtown. It’s absolutely perfect for a small family or two couples. You can walk to town - that’s how close it is to everything.

Lovely space for our family of four, very clean and well stocked! We walked to the beach and downtown and the ferry. We rented e-bikes for longer distance exploration. We would definitely return!

Lois' place was just as she listed. Even though there isn't a range stove, there was plenty there to make the kitchen useful to our family and extended family staying in other places to eat with us. Lois was empathetic and accommodating when a family emergency arose, and I appreciate that so much. We would love to stay at the Gallery again. It is a perfect location for us, as we visited the library, Donegal Bay, the campsite, and town often. Thank you, Lois, for everything!

Just two short blocks from the main street, across the street from a very nice public library, and three blocks to the beach, there is nothing to not like about the location, AND it's still very quiet.
The furnishings inside are sparse, but the basics like starter coffee, microwave popcorn, and an extra toilet paper roll were supplied.

New or fairly new construction, only comment would be in favor of additional furnishings, such as end tables, TV trays, and perhaps a few flashlights. We understand Beaver Island has frequent power outages and we had one brief one and a couple of days later one that lasted for a few hours overnight.

The rental unit was just as described and shown. Was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The location is great. Walking distance to town. We had a great time and would love to come back again.

A Great Place To Stay
This cute little place met all of our needs for a long weekend getaway! It was plenty spacious for just the two of us and would have easily handled two more with room to spare. It was well within walking distance to town (which was nice when we needed ice cream after dinner one night). The kitchen had a bit of a breakroom feel to it, but we didn't do much cooking so it was fine for us. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to family & friends!

Great place to stay and relax.
Close to town. Library across the street. Walking distance to beach, museum and restaurants. Quiet at night relaxing place to vacation. We had the best time geo-caching, museums, lighthouses, driving around the island. It was a really fun adventure. Our hosts were available by phone and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely come back again.

Comfortable and convenient. That sums it up. It was an easy walk from the ferry and close to everything in town.
Just a hot plate for pan cooking, but it works for simple meals. Would have appreciated a screen on the window above the bed to keep out the "state birds." And Roku TV was a bit wonky if you like local/network stations.

Great location, roomie spot
Overall great stay - simple layout with everything we needed to stay comfortably. Hosts were super helpful and very responsive! Very close to the "downtown" of Beaver Island which made walking/biking to amenities ideal. Would stay again.
