The house was very clean & tidy, the host was super easy to work with, great communication and easy checkin, wonderful location on the canal, walk or drive to beach (parking permits are provided), friendly neighborhood, good for dogs, we felt extremely safe and comfortable.

The Blue Cottage was just what our family needed! Close proximity to the South Bethany Beach, water access via the canal and more space than we expected. Dana and Leo were very attentive and communicative regarding a few small issues. We would definitely rent this house again.

I knew the property was dated by looking at the pictures. Not my first choice, but we were booking last minute. However, numerous reviews mentioned the cleanliness of the property, so we decided to book, thinking it would at least be clean. Unfortunately that was not the case. Now they of course cleaned some before we got there, but not very well. There was still lots of dog hair, and mold in the bathtub (that easily wiped out with an alcohol wipe). More importantly, the place hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. Lastly, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary “stuff” everywhere. There’s not a lot of places to put your things on counters, Tables, etc. It’s a nice location; great neighborhood; short walk to the beach.

We spent a relaxing week in this comfortable beach house. It was an easy walk to the beach. The safe walking trails around South Bethany were great exercise for the dogs and us!

In South Bethany for family function. Just my husband and pup. House in very convenient area… close to beach… restaurants and more. We were not there much , when we were it was perfect for our needs.

This was a perfect get away. The screened in porch was the BEST! We fell in love with the house and neighborhood and neighbors. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful retreat!

I do not have enough words to say how amazing this house is! It is quaint, immaculate and peaceful. The location on the canal is picturesque and the location and proximity to Fenwick Island, Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City is perfect.
It had 40 years since I was last in South Bethany Beach and this house did not disappoint. Lucy the Corgi and I both thank you and we will be booking this property for future vacations.

Enjoyed our week-long stay (two adults and one dog). We found the cottage clean, roomy and comfortable. The activity on the canal, both human and wildlife, make interesting viewing. Best of all is that the beach is truly within walking distance -- even for us senior citizens and our senior dog.

This place exceeded my expectations. I loved the location on the canal. I loved the short walk to the beach. House was charming, clean, and fully equipped (tea kettle would be nice addition). We look forward to returning in the warmer months. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

This lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is nestled just 20 feet from the Canal. A screened in back porch gives a wonderful view. The cottage is extremely clean and furnished with all you’ll need for a relaxing stay.

This home is exactly as described, if not better. On the bay, but a short walk to the beach. In close proximity to all restaurants and shopping area. The home was spotless. Great walking area for dogs, as there is very little traffic. Would definitely rent this home again. Perfect for families, or a group of friends.

Loved the property. Was perfect for my wife, chihuahua, and me. My only disappointment was the crabs were too small in the canal. Not the properties fault by any means. Would absolutely stay here again.

The house was the perfect size for us and our dog. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable; showers worked great. Location was convenient to beach and town. Able to ride bikes all over. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed to not catch any fish off the dock.

The light, “beachy” cottage had everything our family of 4 needed. Loved the quiet street, and the fire pit out back by the canal. Short walk to the beach, or a short drive to the dog friendly beach! Love to make a return trip!!
