Absolutely stunning house by beautiful Lake Atitlan. Unique art and elegant architecture. Spacious rooms with capacity for many. Pool table, table tennis, and two hot tubs were an impressive addition. The onsite help with meal preparations is great for those who want to take a break from cooking. Had a magnificent time and definitely will recommend to others.

Lots of space, staff are wonderful, and Lisa, the manager, extremely helpful. Great views and very comfortable.

We recently took a family vacation to Casa de Lago and it was truly amazing. This house will help you relax and enjoy quality time with family/friends in a beautiful environment. The house itself is stunning. It provides a unique 2-level floorplan with plenty of rooms and living space to accommodate a large family. It also has great interior design to make you feel like you're living in part of the Guatemalan rainforest. The exterior decks provide spectacular views of Lake Atitlan and the surrounding landscape. The house has extremely well groomed exterior areas, including a playground area for kids to enjoy. We spent a lot of time outdoors. One of the best parts of this house is the accompanying lake dock. It's a short walk from the house with easy access and privacy. We spent time swimming in the lake, kayaking, and enjoying the lake views from the jacuzzi. The only precaution to consider with this house is actually getting there. This was our first time to Guatemala and we quickly realized why hiring a private driver makes more sense than renting a car. The roads are not well developed around the house or in the general areas around Lake Atitlan. So it is definitely wise to hire transportation and use boat taxis when getting around the lake. All in all, we couldn't recommend this house more. It was the perfect place for our family vacation which will be something we cherish and remember for years to come. Beautiful property, well exceeded our expectations. The staff was so wonderful. Luis met us and took us to this paradise. Sandra and Eba were engaging, helpful, and made us feel at home.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this wonderful home. The staff were attentive to all our needs in the house as well as helping and guiding us on getting around in Guatemala. We highly recommend this location :)

The house is very well designed and was perfect for our large family for the week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of space to spread out but also get together for family meals. The panoramic views from the kitchen dining living room are gorgeous. It is also nice to get the morning sun due to position of the house on the lake. It is very private though there are neighbors not too far, however, we never saw them. Wired internet would be a huge plus but my cellphone data got a decent connection most of the time. Jacuzzis were a great asset. If you are looking for a quiet private and expansive retreat this is the place for you.

Our group spent 3 nights at Casa del Lago and had an absolutely spectacular time. The property itself is exceedingly comfortable, spacious, well-appointed, and otherwise run like a first-rate hotel. The house was spotless when we arrived, and the home's staff took the best care of us during our weekend. Lisa had arranged for us to have most of our meals prepared for us, which turned out to be a great way for us to get the most out of our days, eat delicious meals, and also enjoy the company of the staff. The house has everything a group could possible want or need to be entertained: endless games, ping-pong, hot tubs, kayaks, pool, nooks to read, and very comfortable rooms, beds, and bathrooms. Last but not least, Lisa is a wonderful host who was very responsive on email and made sure everything was well-coordinated before and during our stay. We will absolutely be back -- this place is a true gem!

Amazing! Ended our trip in Guatemala in this beautiful house with view to Lake Atlitan, the staff was amazing, we felt like home. Everything is clean, well maintained, the amenities are better than a 5 star hotel! Highly recommended!

We had a great time. The property was beautiful and very well cared for. Lakefront is perfect. Two families stayed and we had plenty of room. The staff were very nice and friendly and professional. It’s like a 5 star resort. Will definitely be back. Truly a place to get away from it all.

Staff was awesome! It was dark when we arrived and we didn’t know the way. Ruben met us in town and drove us to the house. After taking several roads and turns down unlit streets we started to second guess the location. But don’t let that alarm you. Upon pulling into the property, we were in awe, even in the dark. The house was clean, well stocked and came with 2 of the sweetest house chef ladies ready to unload and cook us up a fresh meal. Everything was amazing. From the decor, to the landscape and views down to the individual rooms with their own attached bathrooms. We plan on booking another stay because our only regret was that we weren’t there for a longer duration of time. Take advantage of this breathtaking property and such an unbelievable price!

Family simply loved the home and all it had to offer. The online pictures of the home do not do it justice. Property location and layout are unbelievable. Home is kept very clean and the staff offered by the property were very attentive and contributed to a wonderful stay!!! Thank you

Heartily recommend this house. The setting is beautiful with spectacular views of the Lake and the surrounding gardens, and the house architecturally impressive. There was literally nothing missing from a fully equipped kitchen with 2 very helpful and friendly helpers, to a pool table, trampoline, ping pong tables. a beautiful dock on the Lake, and a closet full of board games. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed and we were a very comfortable group of 12 people. The last evening we sat on the deck under the stars watching the flames in the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. The place is magical and we plan to return!

STAY HERE! This place is absolutely amazing. The view is spectacular and the house clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable. We stayed there with 14 people and everyone talked the whole weekend about how they loved the house. The service from the staff was exceptional, they were very helpful and friendly, so very eager to please in every way. The house provides you with everything. This is hands down the nicest place I've stayed in Guatemala and in the US. WOW!! Lisa answered all my questions patiently. We are already talking about our next year's retreat. STOP looking, you MUST stay here!!!!

The house is amazing, beautifully decorated, and with very confortable. The lake is beautiful and the views from the house are great.
