Privé kamer netjes, en faciliteiten goed

We hebben er 2 nachten verbleven met een tour er tussen in dus 2x schoongemaakte kamers en de eerste nacht zat het putje vol met zwarte haren en de tweede keer vonden we ook veel zwarte haren en wij zijn beide blond hahaha

Doppelzimmer mit Balkon. Betten waren gut.

Zimmer hatte keine Aircondition. Schlafen war durch die Hitze im Zimmer (trotz Ventilator) schwierig.

No aircon in the room, windows do not shut properly, generally a dirty space

Staff where helpful

We booked freedom for two nights with the plan to have a few chilled nights before travelling to airlie beach. On arrival the hostel seemed ok however it was noticed that it needed a lot of work doing. Upon checking into the room the back patio doors could not be locked and did not fully close meaning the room was filled with bugs. Once we got to sleep at around midnight we was woken to our door been kicked in by three drunk lads. Half an hour later our door was kicked in again. From speaking to staff they moved us rooms and said they would look into it. Although staff couldn’t do anything about our room been broken into I feel like security at freedom is lacking. Anyone can walk into the hostel, cameras do not cover certain areas of the hostel and they have no security on a night. I have stayed in many hostels in Australia which have first class security, cameras all over, night guards and high fences to prevent anyone from climbing over. I will not be booking this hostel again and I urge anyone staying there to check there doors to make sure they are secure. Many of the doors are damaged and although they lock with a little push they will open. Again this is nothing against the staff on duty at the time, they where really helpful and I was given a full refund.

Ich hatte zwei Nächte in diesem Hostel gebucht um eine Tagestour nach K‘Gari zu machen. Ich hatte Glück und ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage bekommen, nicht jedes Zimmer hatte eine. Das Zimmer hatte ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche. Die Lage war gut, aber Rainbow Beach ist auch nicht so groß.

Musste bei der Kategorie Sauberkeit leider ein Punkt abziehen, weil die Küche sehr dreckig und unordentlich war. Die Zimmer waren dagegen sauber

La gentillesse du personnel, le jardin, et la localisation. L’arrêt du Greyhound bus est juste devant !! :)

La propreté de la vaisselle et des ustensiles.. il y a également beaucoup de mouches..

The place was huge and well equipped for a lot of people, each dorm had its own bathroom- the happy hour at the bar was cheap and the staff were friendly! Comfy beds too

The kitchen was very dirty and the fridges were really full, there was also not much equipment to cook with but enough to get by!
