It was very comfortable. Peaceful and cosy. We would really like to stay here another night if we had the chance..The owner was very friendly and welcoming us from the moment we arrived. The house is well accommodated ,suitable for family with children.

The garden is very big with a nice playground for the kids

Unfortunately I forgot my earplugs and the owners were not helpful to send them back, claiming they didn’t find them, which is not possible since they were under the pillow. If they change the sheets, which I suppose they do, they must have found them.

The owner was very helpful and nice. The view was amazing and the yard very and cozy. Very picturesque!

We booked 10 minutes before coming and the host came at the second we were there, he cleaned everything offered us food and goodies and he lit up the fireplace for us it was perfect ! A beautiful place, so quiet and has such a beautiful view. It was just amazing! Can’t wait to come back

Hospitality and comfort

this property is Awesome for inviting guests as me and my family come from overseas Canada and like to entertain all our friends and family 80-100 people that’s exactly what we did last weekend we had great experience with roasted lamb and pork served grime the host Mario Opacak so honest people and great hard working people would recommend highly to anyone rather for just family fun time or having guests food was amazing thanks to host Mario

We booked Matanovi Dvori as a stop to overnight during our trip from Germany to Greece. Never regretted it!!! Being there after 5 hours on the road, this house (yes, it is a whole house) was just what we needed to relax and recharge our batteries. Hearty welcome by mr Mario and advice on how to work everything in the property. He also proposed a restaurant to deliver us food in case we didn't want to get on the car again - which we did and the food was very good. He brought us a big basket with fruits, a plate with cured meat, bread, drinks, in fact everything we needed for next day's breakfast (and an afternoon snack as well...). Within the property there is a wooden "fortress" for the children to play and a sandpit as well. As a result, we spent all the afternoon there: kids enjoying playing, parents enjoying relaxation and our dog enjoying the -huge- yard!!! Precious moments out of nowhere! Will definitelly choose it if it happens to stay in the area again and of course highly recommended.

The only "drawback" is the location of the house. You definitely need a means of transport to get there and move around.

Location was very easy to find off the highway. breakfast items were thoughtfully arranged and we had everything we needed to prepare it. We arrived to a roaring hot fire in the fireplace. it was super cozy.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We waited at the Serbian-Croatian border for 5 hrs and around midnight realised it was too late to continue our trip north, so we looked for somewhere to spend the night. We came to the property at 1am where we were welcomed with a drink by a warm fireplace in a rustic style cottage with very comfy beds. The owner was very kind and the whole experience was very positive, including tasty warm bread in the morning and best home grown kiwis we have ever had. We hope to be back!

Good position, near motorway, clean property with interesting design. Excellent hospitality and host!!!

Very peaceful place, relatively close to the highway, but very quiet. There's a supermarket close by.

The breakfast looked very nice but we did not try it. The water was hot and it was nice to take a shower. The Appartment was clean, the bed was comfy. The garden is very nice. Quiet place.

When we arrived the host requested the dogs to stay outside of the Appartment which is not written in the rules of the house. All the houses in the neighborhood have dogs, so when we walked our dogs all the other dogs were barking, definitely not the place to walk dogs. It was very cold and the electricity was going down because of the heating in the bedroom. There is a chimney which is making a very cozy atmosphere but it is not heating the Appartment and it works only for 1-2 hours.
