very old building old appliances that work new tvs with new cable system wifi seems to be ok has ac added to both rooms fairly quiet from traffic noise

We had a great stay, good support from our contact. Property a little dated, but they are working on updating. Hot tubs not working the first night, over-chemical’d the second night. We enjoyed our stay!

This unit needs some work. Placing a beautiful granite counter top on cabinets that are well over 50 years old id ridiculous. Some of the kitchen drawers are in need of repair. There are no potholders in the kitchen which make it difficult to use the oven, also, no dish towels. Severe lack of eating utensils. The counter top in the bathroom is cracked and should never have been installed in such condition. The windows in kitchen and adjoining room are filthy and in disrepair. Also, the unit has a cockroach problem.

The property was just as described in the listing. Great location, pretty central to just about anywhere on the east side of the island and not a long drive to the southern beaches. Having all the beach gear you will need was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

A great budget place with a kitchen. Has all I need. Close to lots of shops. Access to a trail along the ocean is across the street.

Convenient, clean ground-floor unit next to Coconut Marketplace in Kapa’a, with easy access to grocery stores, shops, Longs Drugs, farmers market on foot. Host very responsive (fixed patio door lock issue on Sunday within a few hours). Two air conditioners kept unit easily temperature regulated, in addition to ceiling fans. Beach access within a block. I spent a week in this unit prior to 2 months along northern coast of Kauai, and wanted a week when I could unwind and manage without a car rental. The Kauai Bus service allows transfers from airport along Kuhio Highway to Kapa’a. Kapa’a along Kuhio Highway is like living in small town, but unit was not noisy and air conditioner white noise kept the limited traffic noise relatively unobtrusive.

It’s a great simple place everything one needs when understanding Kauai and spending most all the time out adventuring. Great location to grab food rest and reset for next day. We are frequent to kappa and this is a nice unit and location. Would definitely stay again when needing a place that sleeps more than two.

We had a great time at the appartment! Very close to Kapa'a to make grocery, eat, drink and shop. About in the middle of Kaua'i, easy to visit everything. Pool and hot tub are clean. Coconut market next door is very nice if dont feel for going out.

Located in a local resort overall close to shopping, restaurants, beaches. Nice stay overall.

The unit was as described and had some extras- pack in play beach chairs and pool toys. It was clean and had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay again when visiting Kauai.

Our stay here was amazing. They had the room ac on blast so when we showed up the room was nice and cold. It was perfect for the heat with packing. We had no issues except our room key locked us out on Friday. Definitely would stay here again. The little condo had everything we need. It was perfect!

The location is centralized which was awesome. Also having the coconut shopping center right there was very convenient. I have stayed at the plantation hale before but in a different unit. There are a lot of little things that could be improved upon, like the outlets won't hold a plug without pinching them. The doors stick but I'm sure that's from the weather. I might suggest getting a new cleaner for your unit because unfortunately it was not clean. There was sand and dirt in every corner, the couch looks like the cushions need a deep thorough clean. I don't expect the place to be perfect and I can understand some wear and tear like paint, chipping etc, but for the amount of the cleaning fee, I would hope that you and your guests would get a better experience with that. All in all I would stay here again for the convenience and the price.

I always got a "I don't know) I was told the nearest beach to swim in was 40 miles away. No one bothered to tell me wherebthe pool was or the trash and barbecues. Indid see them tapes to the back of the front door. But it would have been nice if someone explained where everything was when I first arrived

Hi the bathroom smelled bad. Everything was very old inside. Looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades. The bathroom sink was leaking. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart. The pictures do not show how old this place looks inside.

The property was clean and in a great location to explore the whole island. We had no problems whatsoever while we were there.

The location of the property was ideal and right next to the Coconut Market place. The pool and hot tub were fab. The property was well stocked with everything you needed for the kitchen and bathroom and there were also towels for the beach. The only thing I would say is that the property is quite tired and really could do with a full refurb, but this did not spoil the stay in any way as it was neat and tidy and clean.

We stayed here so that we could hike the Kalalau trail. The place had everything we needed to be comfortable

We had such a great time at this VRBO! The perfect location in Kauai made getting to the North Shore and South Shore easily. We were even walking distance to coconut marketplace with tons of restaurants and shops. The room itself was cute and comfy. Would 100% recommend this place! I hope to be back sometime soon!

I stayed in on of the units managed by “Kauai Calls”from Feb 26 thru March 4th. I traveled with my sister. My Daughter joined us for 3 days. Perfect location, convenient kitchen and affordable , However,the bathtub didn’t drain well while showering and it was dirty upon arriving. I had to clean long black hairs from the drain. I left a message with property manager about this but never received a call back. By the end of the week, the bathroom floor was wet due to the toilet leaking! I tried to call property manager but voicemail box was full. Poor customer service. But the upside is … Kauai is gorgeous! I will just book elsewhere next time! Denise

Great location! The nearest beach had a ton of homeless people living on it which happens to be directly across from the vrbo. They never bothered us but in order to enjoy the beach, we decided to drive to another public one that didn't have any homeless people nearby. Not really their fault but something to be aware of. Otherwise it was a great place to stay!

Had a great time enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Short walk to beach and fresh chicken to eat
