If you are looking for tranquility, you’ve found the right place. The views were truly breathtaking and the house was immaculate. Maxine was very accommodating and a pleasure to liaise with. A brilliant and note worthy experience all round!

maxine (owner) was a great communicate and really helpful with arranging. We got beautiful snow which was pretty magical for two city sides. The place feels like a deluxe hotel but with so much privacy and yet close to oberon for any supplies. I thoroughly recommended maxines place and think youre getting the place for a steal!

A heavenly9 nights were spent here celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We had beautiful crisp sunny days, a day spent up in the moving cotton candy clouds, fabulous sunsets & sparkling Bathurst night lights. The views were picture perfect with endless wonderful cloud watching. We got SNOW! 4hrs of standing at the window like kids...even had a play outside in it! WOW what a place to share our love !

There is such attention to detail in this amazing property. The main windows are like looking at an evolving painting. The beds are so comfortable and we all felt so happy to stay here for three wonderful nights. Thank you Maxine!

Great accommodation, amazing view, exceptional hospitality. Would highly recommend.

The house is pearched on a gentle hill and facing the north west. Able to see the sunset on the left and see the landscape change through the day. The house is new and well kept. The king bed is firm and has a pillow top which suits us well like what we have. Love to idle on the rotating round sofa. The owner, Maxine, is helpful with directions and is couple of minutes away. No worries if you need help. The house is well insulated and has external covered with colorbond. The occasion contraction of the colorbond gave a banging sound which initially worries a city dweller like us but it has gone unnoticed after a while. There is no wifi inhouse, but has good data internet connection...then again go cold turkey with the internet when you are out there. On the whole, we love the place as it is spacious and peaceful for get away from the city, and is not too far from the city.
