Breakfast this morning was a nightmare. There was little to no hot food, no hot water, when asking staff anything they either ignored us or got hostile about what they had. They ran out of hot water, so I took the container to the back and staff was pissed. This was at 850 ish. It was not clean around any of the food area, and no one seemed to care. I got tired of asking so I stopped. I was surprised at the room cleanliness, as the bathroom towels were dirty along with most of the rest of the bathroom. We also couldn't get the room above 68 degrees, which was not ideal, but we were tired and wanted to go to bed.

Walls are very thin. Could hear hallway noises. The trains run often and you hear it also. I could not get good sleep. Between the toddler screaming, people running the halls and the trains running I left exhausted

Loved the location downtown - walking distance to several breweries. Clean and safe are my priorities and this definitely satisfies both of those criteria.

Super pricey for a single night - I’ve paid less in Manhattan for a hotel. Breakfast was just ok. And prepare for trains to wake you up. They do provide ear plugs - use them!

Great breakfast! Loved being in the historic part of town. Within walking distance of five flags, where we were going.

Along the walk to five flags and back there were many bars and some people hanging around outside them. I felt a little uneasy and watchful, but it was uneventful and interesting. I would not do that alone.

I liked that this was so close to all the places I wanted to visit in Dubuque.

I was sorry breakfast started at 7 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. on Saturday.

It was design smart

The bed was very uncomfortable. The carpet held a lot of allergens and cause my family and I strong allergies. It was decently cleaned but I still found many details that should have been addressed. One of the pillows was dirty and had some mold stains on it . Due to our dietary restrictions I had to make breakfast for us, the cooking pan was dirty with burned grease and food, I had to improvise to clean it up. The coffee maker was dirty and the k-cup tray components hadn’t been cleaned, I had to wash that also. The furniture and tvs were dusty and I had to clean most things up to reduce the allergy flare ups.

The breakfast was okay. The drawbacks are that the selection was limited and the food was very processed not fresh. Though the quiche was amazing!
