This property is located in an amazing spot, walkable to restaurants and very close to the beach! It was super clean and an an overall great house!

The bungalow is nice and quaint. The platform bed in the master bedroom is way too low for older (65+) guests. Beach is beautiful and so close. Restaurants are great and most deliver. A bit pricey for off season.

Property is pretty much exactly as advertised, honestly it was a little bigger inside than we expected. The beach is a short walk and plenty of nice places to eat along the street. If you're planning on bringing your dogs, there is not much grass in the immediate neighborhood but there is a dog park less than 10 minutes away. We have one who will only use the bathroom on grass so this was helpful. Lots of dogs in the area, also. The owner was very helpful and informative. Would definitely stay here again.
Just a helpful fyi for heading into the city, we would take a Lyft/Uber to the subway station (Far Rockaway). All in all, it would be about an hour-1.5 to get to Manhattan in the mornings. Always took us a little longer to get back. Way worth it to not have to try and sleep in the "city that never sleeps."

Love the large sun deck with beautiful beach views to relax and bbq! There also is a nice large umbrella for shade if needed. Extremely close to white sandy beach. From sun deck, you enter through french doors into large open living area (i.e., LR, Dining with large dining table, and kitchen). Lots of storage for clothes too. Also deck has raised table to dine and drink your coffee while looking at the beautiful ocean! This house is also very pet friendly, and Christine answered back quickly if we had any questions. We even used the fireplace on a cooler evening and it was very nice. Hardly even had to use the AC since there’s always such awesome cool ocean breezes. Our fam lives in LB but they can’t accommodate all of us, so this house was perfect. Although there was only 5 of us, the home will comfortably accommodate 6 people, and it was very convenient for us to have an extra half bath. You can fit 2 cars under house and one in front of the driveway, so parking is easy. We would love to stay again next summer!!! Thank you!!!

Had such a great experience last year we decided to come back and were happy we did. This is a great beach house--clean, comfortable and spacious- with an excellent location. Check in is easy, and Christine was very accommodating and responsive.

We had a wonderful time at Christine’s property. The house is gorgeous and just as pictured but larger than it looked online. Great location too- a few houses down from the beach, and plenty of great restaurants, pubs and markets a block away. The space was super clean, modern, with a great lay out.. We stayed there with our son and daughter in-law and three large dogs and there was plenty of room! Thank you Christine for allowing us to bring our pups! We hope to stay there again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun family vacation.

We have visited Long Beach many times since we have family living there. This holiday visit meant spending over a week in LB and we did not want to stay at the local hotel. Finding and renting this property was the best! It is a very short walk from the beach and soooo close to all the businesses on Beech Street. The parking spaces were great to have and would be a big life saver in the summer when this town is filled with beach lovers. The property was clean and roomy with a large table for everyone to sit comfortably. Nice kitchen, comfy beds with plenty of blankets and towels. This will be our preferred rental for the next long visit to Long Beach!

Winter in Long Beach the easy way!
We have visited Long Beach many times since we have family living there. This holiday visit meant spending over a week in LB and we did not want to stay at the local hotel. Finding and renting this property was the best! It is a very short walk from the beach and soooo close to all the businesses on Beech Street. The parking spaces were great to have and would be a big life saver in the summer when this town is filled with beach lovers. The property was clean and roomy with a large table for everyone to sit comfortably. Nice kitchen, comfy beds with plenty of blankets and towels. This will be our preferred rental for the next long visit to Long Beach!

Great little beach house!
The house had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend getaway – nice furnishings, a spacious master bedroom, and a beautiful deck with water views. It was clean and relaxing. We also loved the location. I know parking can be difficult near the beach, but we parked our car in the private driveway and never used it during the entire stay - it was just a few steps to the beach and a short walk to great shops and restaurants. I love visiting Long Beach and I couldn’t be happier with our choice of accommodations.

Updated Charming Beach House
I loved the french doors opening to the airy new large front deck with an Ocean View. The private carport driveway was an added bonus, however I did not need a car because everything you need is within walking distance. The best part is the ocean is just a few houses away. I hope to be staying here again soon.

Beach House Needs a LOT of Work
We had very high expectations for the beach house given the location, but unfortunately we were very disappointed in the condition of the house relative to what we paid per night. We have been long time renters through VRBO and its our experience that a house for this price is typically clean, well stocked and in good working order. This beach house had a kitchen that had damaged cabinets (in some places taped together), windows that didn't lock, a front storm door that didn't close properly, a toilet that didn't flush, curtains that were dirty, towel bars that were broken and closet doors that were off the rails, to name just a few complaints. It was so bad that we left after 2 nights despite having paid for 3 nights.
Despite the fact that we loved the town and Christine was very professional, we would not recommend staying at this house until they put a significant amount of work into it to make it ready for guests.

True Beach Cottage
The place was perfect for a relaxed beach vacation. All my family loved it. Close to the beach and it had a great deck. The owner was friendly and helpful.

Location Location Location
The location of this home is perfect. Just 4 houses away from beach. The home is vintage as seen in the photos which is fine. However, the single beds leave a lot to be desired, especially those in the lower level. Also the dishes & glasses provided needed a thorough washing (sticky & gooey) before they could be used to name a few issues. We paid premium price for the holiday weekend and its the little things which definitely need some attention.

Great location, property, and owner!
Just returned from a three-generation family vacation spent in this property. We could not have been more pleased. The location is on a nice street just steps from a terrific beach. There are stores and restaurants in easy walking distance, which is really helpful because parking on Long Beach is a little hard to come by depending on days/times (although we always found parking spaces for multiple vehicles pretty close by). The home is not super fancy, but it's spacious and comfortable, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so that even with a full house, we all had privacy when we wanted it, and big enough gathering spaces when we wanted to all be together. I cannot stress this enough --- Christine is by far the best owner I have ever rented from! We had some specific requests to tailor the visit to our needs, and Christine was very accommodating, helpful, and had wonderful communication. Thank you for helping to make our family get-together a memorable one.

Great beach getaway!
Spent a long weekend here with my family and enjoyed every minute of it. The house was clean and very well maintained. The location can't be beat - less than a one minute walk to the beach and a short walk to great restaurants. We sat on the deck every morning drinking coffee, enjoying the view of the ocean and the cool breeze. We appreciated the beach access - it made it easy to haul all of the family beach gear. The outdoor shower and being able to walk home for lunch was an added bonus. My kids also loved renting bikes and cruising the boardwalk. The house is very charming and the antique wooden floors are a nice touch. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all of our needs. I would highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a great beach getaway.
