It was great for my first-time renting a cabin.The only thing I was disappointed was when the power went out for about 5 hours leaving us in the Dark

The cabin was great great location very clean. We have the minimum of anything we need it. It’s close to some grocery stores. It’s also in a quiet area everyone loved the cabin. We would love to go back next year and hopefully we can stay in the same cabin. Just a small note bring a 4 x 4 vehicle lol

Honestly if you are going to the smokies to spend time at a cabin and just rest this one isn’t for you. Although the outside looks like a cabin the inside is very much out of date and what appears to have been a duplex at one time. The driveway is steep and the loose gravel are the cause to need 4 wheel drive. This rental is close to town but in a quiet area. Rental is clean for the most part but is due a deep cleaning. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and not hang out this is for uou.

When we arrived at the property (30 minutes before check in) and was making our way up the long steep drive there was a tree over the drive way preventing us from making it the rest of the way up. Contacted the property owner about the tree, she wanted to know if we could just walk the rest of the way up. That was not possible as we had my elderly mother with us. She said she would get someone on getting the tree removed. So we headed into town to waste several hours on waiting for the tree to be removed. It took 3 hours for the tree to be removed. The property owner offered us no compensation for our inconveniences. We did find that there was some dusting of the shades in the dining and living room that needed to be done as well as the light fixtures over the kitchen sink needed to be cleaned. We did have a wonderful time despite the beginning of our trip.

We had a group of 7 people and had no problems with sleeping arrangements. Two king size beds and 4 twin over full size bunk beds. The two kitchens was a little weird but if cooking a lot of food it helps. Two refrigerators also was nice. Only issue was the game system had its cord locked up in bottom of the cabinet so couldn’t play it.

First of all the driveway is no joke. The owner should really consider lights along the steep and curvy driveway. Secondly, because of the driveway they should have had maintenance or a landscaper with a leaf blower clear it and the porches and the fire pit area prior to guest arrival. The left side of the unit had no hot water because there was an issue with a brand new hot water heater that was installed by an unqualified maintenance man. We had two days of hot water on the left side. So that meant 6 adults and 4 kids had to share one shower all week. The owner needs to take more time and put more into owning this property instead of leaving it to 3rd parties to handle everything. And email was the only line of communication with her. Also there’s a block on the thermostats and it was quite hot for our week and we couldn’t turn the air down last 70. That was inconvenient. And the game table does not work. The kids were pretty disappointed. This place has a lot of potential. Just needs a little more attention and effort put into it.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful. The driveway was a bit much but we had four wheel drive, so it wasn't that bad. We had a bear to come by for a visit The first day. He looked in the window at us and went on across the deck back to the woods. We had a power outage for about 9 or so hours. We made the best of it until it came back on. We made forts in the living room and talked in front of the fire place.(Thank God it had a fire place because it was a little cool that day). Overall stay was wonderful. I would stay here again if available when we travele back this way.

This was a very nice house to stay in for a group of ten people, great size and it was clean and the beds were nice and comfy. However, I never once was able to get in touch with the property owner. The morning of our trip, I still hadn't received any check in information or instructions, and I couldn't get a hold of Evolve Vacation Rentals (who the listing is through) or the property owner themselves, because the phone number in the listing doesn't work. I finally had to get on the phone with VRBO help and they were able to get a hold of the property owner another way and forward me the check in information, but it was stressful having to be on the phone all morning while driving to the house and if I wouldn't have reached out, we would have had no idea how to get in or anything. Additionally, it is listed on the very bottom of the FAQs but it should be listed first thing, you literally CANNOT access the house without a four wheel drive. Luckily, we had two four wheel drives within our group of cars and we could shuttle people up the long steep driveway, but our other SUV would not make it at all, and we again couldn't get a hold of the property owner to ask about alternative parking. The driveway is way too long to walk too, so you have to have at least one four wheel drive in your group to take things up to the house, even if some people do park somewhere else. We ended up having to park in a church parking lot nearby and we didn't even hear back from Evolve until the next afternoon on if this was allowed or if they had somewhere else for us to park. The house itself was nice, I just wish the check in process and the communication were better.

I really like the area. Very nice and quite but you’d definitely need either 4 wheel drive atv or a front wheel drive could possibly do it. Be more difficult but doable. Almost to the point of needing a mountain goat to get up lol. Other than the driveway I really liked it. Nice and peaceful.

Nice place, clean family loves.

The cabin was nice and clean but could definitely use some updating. The only draw back is absolutely the driveway. A four wheel or all wheel should not be recommended but required. The drive would not be near as bad if it were paved. Although we enjoyed our stay we would not stay there again unless the drive is paved.

We enjoyed staying there, we hadn’t been together in awhile and this place made the opportunity happen. Not far from Gatlinburg and surrounding places.

The property was nice and had a great porch and fire pit. This property is a duplex that is being used as one main house. It is perfect for 2 families to share and everyone has their own space, including separate kitchens and laundry areas. The driveway is steep, so a 4 wheel drive is helpful. The property driveway is diagonally across from the church. The phone pole has 682 and 684 marked in it, but it is hard to see since it is close to the bottom of the pole. I text the property contact several times and never got a response back.

Everything was great

Location was fine but the cabin needs a deep cleaning. We saw black mold in the jets of our tub. Mildew on shower curtain which we had to wash. Also, we lost power on our last full day and our contact was not helpful. We had to pack in the dark and throw out all the food and then find a motel! Not worth the money.

Unless you want to rent blindly and like playing Russian roulette on where you stay on vacation, stay far away from this rental. Let’s start by saying unless you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle you will be attending a Baptist church service across the street to ask if you can use their parking lot. Then carry all your luggage up a steep gravel hill that is ridiculously sloped. So if you have heart conditions, breathing problems, sore bones this isn’t for you. Oh…and you don’t find out any of this until you have paid in full and it’s too late to back out. You can forget trying to contact the person to complain or see about other arrangements. They disappear and let you struggle the rest of your trip because they are laughing all the way to the bank.

It was great place, nice confortable house

We were in this property the first week of December. It was a large group that consisted of 2 adult couples and children ranging from 8 months to 18. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the 2 kitchens as well as two areas for laundry. There were some recent updates to include a game console as well as a Foosball table. The location is convenient to Gatlinburg and the property surrounding the accommodations is very peaceful. We will return to this property again! Thanks for hosting our group for a much needed get away!

You are less thank 15 minutes (traffic dependent) from the Pigeon Forge strip. Less than 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The house comes fully furnished with bed linens, pillows, and wash rags and towels. The house is well stocked with cups, dishes, and silverware (steak knives only you may want to bring a cutting knife) also the can opener does not work. Those were our only needs in the house. Outside the house there is a great deck on the front of the house, a great screen porch off of the right side of the house, and great fire pit with plenty of outdoor seating. The drive way is steep with numerous switchbacks but I never had to use my four wheel drive while staying there and it rained the better part of the weekend. The only change outside I would suggest would be someway to turn off the floodlight on the front porch at night. It is really bright (great when you need/want it but intrusive when you do not need/want it.

Great Quality, Spacious Cabin!! Absolutely Loved this place. We even sat around a campfire one night. Cabin has 2 Refrigerators, 2 Ovens, 2 washers and Driers, Plenty of tables and a Beautiful Porch to sit and Relax.

This property seemed like the best option for our group. When we got there we found several problems. The shower curtains had mildew/mold all over them. When we contacted the property manager, she stated she would handle the problem but did absolutely nothing. The check in email stated that if trash was to accumulate, we could contact the manager. Again, she did nothing. The refrigerators were not cooling 100%, there were several bugs found in kitchen drawers, ice makers did not work, and when the power went out, I never got a reply from the manager. This was not the best place to stay and we will not be back.

You can tell that no-one had been there since the last cleaning. The bathrooms are updated but the rest of the home is dated. Plenty of beds that were really comfortable was a plus but the pictures look way better than the actual inside of the house. My biggest complaint is that the air conditioning on one side of the house did not work during our whole vacation. We arrived Friday evening and left Tuesday morning. I reached out to the contact person on Friday and Saturday she sent one person while we were gone and another one was waiting when we returned from shopping. He worked in it til dark and it still wasn't fixed. The house temp remained between 78 and 84 degrees. He returned unexpectedly again on Sunday, which was the day we decided to stay in for the day. He was there from 12 to 8. Even though he was a super nice guy, we spent 2 days of our vacation with him and still the air wasn't fixed. By Monday the contact lady caught and attitude via text because I asked for some of our money back or something for the inconvenience of sleeping in a hot house. She said that she don't refund for unforeseen maintenance issues. I asked her to give me call at that point because, (I forgot to mention that she never answered her pbone and you can only contact her through text messages). I haven't heard from her since her Monday morning text. I have been renting through Homeaway/VRBO for over 10 years at least 3 times a year. I have never had an experience like this before. She was very unprofessional through her last text and seemed to not care at all about not having the property checked before our stay.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE UNTIL IT IS UPDATED, FREE OF SPIDER WEBS AND THE AIR IS FIXED.

I had an amazing stay here! My bridal party & I came here for my Bachelorette Party and stayed at this cabin and we loved it! The cabin was very clean & roomy! The property manager was very helpful! The driveway was not as bad as it is made out to be either, I was nervous after reading reviews but my Car made it just fine! It was overall a great stay & we will return! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

My Family and I had an Amazing vacation at this Property, the driveway was steep as stated, it was scary at first but got used too quickly!

This property is a symmetrical duplex that has been combined into one large house. There is a master bedroom on each side of the house. There are no deadbolts on the doors. Our minivan made it up the driveway okay, but the bottom of the van would skid a little at the bottom of the drive and at the larger bumps (10/2019). Great outdoor spaces and fireplace. Firewood not provided, you can get it at local stores easy.

The house was great and spacious we love The house. We love the peace and quiet too.The driveway up the steep hill was a mess. It wasn't pavement it was rocks over mud. They say 4WD but we still couldn't make it up that steep hill drive way. We all had to walk up and down the hill. I couldn't do it everyday because of my disability. Great place to rent and get away.

My family and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. The only minus (that has nothing to do with the owners of the property) is that the driveway isn’t paved. Definitely need a 4x4 vehicle If you are staying here.

Cabin was spacious for a party of 7, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Driveway was not an issue with AWD vehicle. Family enjoyed the scenario outdoors and had a blast. I would recommend a stay here.

Cabin was spacious and had plenty of room for a party of 7. Cabin was clean and had everything you need inside. Many people complain about the driveway. We had no problem with it. We had 2 SUV's. 1 was AWD and 1 was front wheel drive.

This was a great house away from any close neighbors, but close to the downtown area. Plenty of space and it was centrally located to the places and events we wanted to attend.
