The place was decorated for Christmas and perfect for family game nights, holiday family photos, kareoke fun, and making smores around a fire. It was close to Helen and we really enjoyed the adorable and festive fun the town offered. The Alpine coaster also didn't disappoint. We even went on a hike to see the Anna Ruby Falls. The climb was steep but the view was well worth it! My only complaint is a personal preference. I prefer a firm mattress and the beds were a little too soft for my back. Fortunately there was a comfy couch that I was able to sleep on with no issues.

Perfect get away cabin. Great location near all things Helen has to offer. Would stay again.

5 Day stay at this cozy property. Wonderful views and sense of security and safety for family.

This cabin was in a great location and overall was clean and well-equipped. We live in Florida and are used to dealing with bugs and all kinds of creatures, but we should not expect our son to wake up the morning after we arrived with bees swarming his head and large flying ants all over his room. He slept in the basement the remainder of our stay. The owner kindly messaged me the day after we arrived to notify me that an exterminator would be there the following day so clearly there was a known bee/bug problem. There were also sticky fly traps on the window of the bedroom at the front of the cabin. When I let the owner know that my son had bugs all over his room she did not even respond to that portion of my message, instead noted that if I wanted the exterminator to come inside I could arrange this with the exterminator (as if this is something I want to deal with on vacation). We did not utilize the deck much, as everything was filthy out there, it appeared that the tables and chairs had not been wiped down in quite some time. Yes, I realize this is the outdoors in a tree-filled area but of all the places I’ve stayed in the mountains between N GA and WNC, this was the least appealing outdoor area. My other son slept on top of the bedding in his room because the sheets on his bed were so pilled/worn that they were rough to sleep on. Our kids did enjoy the game area downstairs. Also, the wifi was spotty at best. We had better service using our data plan. If given a little TLC, like a simple paint job for example in the bathrooms/hallways, proper pest control, some newer linens, and proper care of the outdoor area, this cabin has the potential to be a wonderful place to stay.

We absolutely loved staying here and enjoyed everything that this cabin had to offer. We played ping pong, threw darts, and sang karaoke for hours! The back porch is a perfect spot to read a book or drink some wine while looking at the gorgeous Mountain View. Secluded, private, dog and family friendly - what more could you ask for? And it is very close to waterfall hikes and Downtown Helen. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us!

Four Army buddies and I spent the weekend here catching up on old times. Great location with useful amenities (fire pit, fireplace, charcoal grill, four beds and a couch that’s sufficient to sleep on). Proximity to Helen and plenty of hiking trails. Host was outstanding!

Very homey four bedroom cabin with all Of the amenities, fire-pit, ping-pong, and karaoke. Not too far from Helen and lots of privacy!

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Minutes away from downtown Helen and zip lining.

The location of the cabin is great. Downtown Helen, the state park and many hikes and waterfalls are nearby. As described, the road to get to the cabin is steep, winding and very narrow. We had no problems navigating it. There are mirrors for the blind curves for safety. If you are a nervous driver, I would not recommend. The furniture has changed a bit and is not exactly like the pictures in the listing but nothing significant. There are a lot of "vintage" pieces that are worn and not in great shape. The floorplan is great, especially if anyone staying on the top floor goes to bed early and others want to play games on the bottom level without being quiet. The ping pong table is great though the three balls and the very worn paddles make it interesting when hitting the balls. There are many board games and a foosball table that we used as well. Of the three bedrooms and the lower level bedroom (so four beds), the only one with a TV is the one on the top level, so if that is important, keep that in mind. The owner is very easy to communicate with, and she responds promptly. I had some questions before we arrived, and she was helpful. The cabin, unfortunately, had many issues with being dirty when we arrived. I chose not to address it with the owner until after checkout as I did not want anyone coming into the cabin after we checked in and were trying to enjoy our short trip. I did take pictures when we arrived. The owner and I corresponded, and that person will no longer be used. The long-term cleaning and maintenance leaves a lot to be desired as well. The old, huge cobwebs were hanging from many places. The outdoor chairs were all dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned in quite some time. The carpet is stained. The inside of the washing machine (the agitator) has gray buildup on it. The paint, trim, furniture, etc. is all in need of some work. I will not list everything here. Overall, even though I had to clean when we got there, we chose to overlook the negatives and had a great time. I don't know if my expectations were too high based on many other cabins/condos we've rented over the years, but this one was definitely not well-maintained. I was surprised after reading all of the great reviews.

The location was great - only about 4 miles from downtown Helen, but I must say.....the road leading up to the cabin was a little scary for us Floridians - LoL. It's most likely a typical road for a mountain cabin, but it was very narrow, steep and twisty. Thank goodness we never met an oncoming vehicle!! The cabin was nice. Plenty of space and beds for 7 of us. Our only inconvenience was lack of counter space, but it could be that we all brought too much food and drinks! Ms. Tatiana was wonderful to work with. We had trouble unlocking the door when we first arrived. I sent her a text and she corrected the issue right away. We never had a reason to contact her again during our 6 night stay! We did not have an indoor fire in the fireplace, but had an outdoor firepit fire. We bought some wood from "Fred's" and it burned really well. We took our oun Keurig because we use the pods, but a multicup coffee maker was provided. The only things missing that we wished we had were all increments of measuring cups and spoons. After checkout, I let Tatiana know that they were missing, so hopefully she replaces them with full sets. All in all, we had a great time, the cabin was nice and the location was great! P.S. She does allow pets.....just ask!

Nice cabin, great location, comfortable, fireplace. Need some updates on pot & pans, microwave but we made it ok. Just an observation for our group. Plenty of space to spread out, basement for the teens or kids.

Very easy check in. Property was as listed. Very clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Very good view from the deck and eating area. Kitchen well stocked. Road up the mountain is fine if you take your time and be careful. Being up so high gets you the view. Would for certain stay again.

We came up for my daughter in law’s birthday weekend. It’s the first time I’ve used VRBO. The check in was easy. The cabin was cute the views amazing. If you get a chance to stay here you’ll love it.. I love the journal that everyone writes in. Made it feel like family

Overall very nice time in a great place, will definitely come back another time

The quite was awesome. We fished in the lake and the trout streams. Great views of the sunset. 5 adults all had a bed. Love North Georgia.

Cute cabin with amazing views. Very family friendly and close to all the Helen activities. Plenty of room for a large group.

The cabin has a beautiful Mountain View, near Helen Town for the summer fun. My family enjoyed the summer weather we would definitely come back for the winter.

This house was perfect for our delayed college reunion. Very well stocked for our weekend together. The only downside was that we were unable to get transportation from here to the wineries. So, one of us just saved the wine consumption for the evenings when we returned home.
