This is a very attractive and well-equipped cabin in a private location on a piece of land but very close to the West Glacier. The owner is helpful and friendly but also gave us privacy. We really liked the pool, the outdoor tables, and the corn hole. We were surprised to learn how close we were to a very active railroad. The number of trains overnight differed from night to night but one of the nights it was really frequent and visitors should be prepared.

The house was clean. The property is very run down and neglected and full of weeds and dead grass and bugs. Many ant bites if you try to be outside. The owner doesn't leave a key or code to enter, but insists on a meeting when you arrive. She wanted to know everyone that would be staying there and when we would be gone during the days. They stay on the property in a trailer behind the house. They were over at the house numerous times a day to tell us to turn down the AC or remind us that we had a light on when we left. She came over when we were outside eating asking what we were having and what our plans were every day. She came in the house several times when we were gone and told us about it later because she didn't like something she saw. We love VRBO and use them a LOT, but won't be back to this one.

This home was lovely, well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The hosts were welcoming and responsive to our queries. We were amazed to learn that they built this incredible home themselves! And the pool had a deep end where I could do water aerobics with a friend.

Everything about the house was great. The only thing that I would caution guests about is that there is a train that passes by occasionally that can be a bit loud. We were all so exhausted from hiking in the park that it didn’t really bother us.

Beautiful place to stay. There were a number of knickknacks that I was a little nervous about with our little one but all was good. We had a great vacation.

With three generations of our family on vacation together, the three story cabin with a pool was a perfect choice! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and we were able to prepare several meals with ease. (Don't plan on finding food services at the park) The pool was an amazing treat for everyone!! Our hosts were wonderful and always ready to assist us in any way.

Absolutely beautiful! Sandie is a great host, her and husband Dale are worth meeting, friendly and so kind, they both have a green thumb with their flowers and garden, house was very clean. Location of this property was perfect for going to West Glacier hiking all day then coming back to swim in their beautiful pool, shopping in Kalispell, Columbia Falls, and Whitefish was pretty nice also!

We stayed here for our daughters wedding in glacier park. It was the perfect setting for small gatherings of family members to grab a bite to eat. Our memories of this wonderful event would not be the same without this gorgeous setting and beautiful home. There was a very exciting game if cornhole that will go down in family lore and the bride says being pushed into the pool by her brother will be one of her best memories. We already have plans to return to simply sit and watch the birds after we have done some hiking in glacier. It’s so lovely and I felt just so honored that someone would decide to share such a beautiful home with others. The owners are so kind and very thoughtful. We will be back.

Our family loved this cabin, a great location for visiting Glacier and the kids loved playing in the pool every night.

It was great to stay here! It was a cute little cabin in the woods - just what we were looking for! It could sleep 8 adults comfortably and had all the amenities needed. The backyard with the pool and grill were a big plus as it is pretty remote and we cooked at the house every night. The owners lived right by there so if anything was needed it was quick and convenient. The location was ideal being so close to the entrance of Glacier National Park, but a slight downside is it is right by a train track that goes throughout the night.

This is an amazing property and location that is very close to the park entrance. House is extremely well stocked and very charming. The host Sandie is very meticulous and very welcoming and informative. I highly recommend sandie and her beautiful property. Thank you so much sandie for hosting us in your beautiful home.

This home is gorgeous and the owners are terrific. Very private and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again if I am this way!

Our family, including two adult children, their kids and one friend, stayed for several nights. The kids made use of the pool while the adults enjoyed wine on the patio. A well stocked kitchen saved a couple meals for items we forgot to pack. Dale and Sandy were very accommodating hosts and made our stay enjoyable.

Absolutely beautiful! Very clean and comfortable. Hosts very nice and helpful. Water in pool perfect temperature. Very close to hiking in Glacier Park and excellent fishing. We will hope to come back.

With two and a half baths, three bedrooms and a pullout this house was extremely functional for our family. Just three minutes from the park gates, it was such a luxury to get in the car and be at the park almost immediately. The house and grounds are meticulously cared for by Dale and Sandi. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after long days of hiking, Loved it!

Lovely accommodations with gorgeous flowers and wonderful outdoor patio, grill and pool. Our hosts shared fresh lettuce and tomatoes from their garden and made helpful suggestions about local food (including a delicious huckleberry pie).

Sande and Dales place was a wonderful accommodation for exploring GNP and having a great place to regroup before heading back out. Close to the park, great pool and plenty of space.

With the COVID-19 restrictions our family had not been together for months. The great outdoors of Montana was the perfect place to do so. The property perfectly met our needs. Enough bedrooms, linens, and kitchen supplies. We hiked and drove around the park. Next time we hoe the weather is warmer as we would have loved to have enjoyed the pool.

Our multigenerational family loved this property! Sandy and Dale were very approachable and answered our questions quickly. The home was clean and comfortable. The kids LOVED the pool area and two living rooms! Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the fire pit. The proximity to Glacier National Park was amazing. If we manage to get back this way again, this property is on the top of our list.

This is a beautiful log home, decorated and equipped with personal care by Sandy, a real “country woman”. She caught the monster rainbow trout on the wall while ice fishing! Impressive. We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 teenagers, who each got their own room. Comfortable great room and kitchen bar large enough to sit and eat burgers or delicious fried eggs from Sandy’s chickens. They really do taste better! The house sits 4 minutes off the highway that takes you into the West Glacier entrance to the park. And, still only 15 minutes from good pizza and a restaurant in Columbia Falls. We saw woodpeckers, rabbits, and songbirds all around the house.

I was very pleased how close this property was to the west entrance of Glacier national park. Super convenient! Property owners are very nice and provide little extras. We had a dozen farm fresh eggs in the fridge and a fully stocked kitchen so you can cook meals at home. Property has lovely flowers and a garden and you can see chickens if you take a little walk. You can tell the owners love this house and are committed to helping their guests have a wonderful stay. Pool was “Montana warm” which was a little cool for me but I did go swimming with my daughter and we had a good time. There is a train that goes by periodically that you can hear. I am a very light sleeper so at night I used a box fan for some white noise and that was perfect. The other adults “slept like the dead.” Definitely recommend this property for your stay in west glacier! I was considering some properties in some of the towns further away and so glad we decided on this property! Also FYI our google directions led us right to the property. One of the road names was off but the directions were still correct. You really just need to watch for the driveway number once the google directions stop. Not sure about other GPS apps but ours worked fine. Always nice to print out the written directions though because getting a signal can be a challenge out there. Good luck and enjoy Glacier!

Great location to Glacier National Park. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.

Clean, safe, charming, tranquil, roomy Lovely stay

We had a great stay at this West Glacier home near Glacier National Park. The location was very close to the West Glacier entrance (within 5 mins) which made it easy to visit the park. The home was exactly as explained in the listing. We enjoyed time in the pool even though we didn't have the best weather and loved the fresh eggs in the morning. It was very to easy to communicate with the owners and they provided very good details with directions. Two small issues - there was very little lighting in the living room and there were no window coverings in the master bedroom. During the summer, with very late sunsets and early sunrises, this made it difficult to sleep. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

What a great getaway! The pool was clean and beautiful. Hosts were extremely welcoming. They greeted us on arrival then let us have the place to ourselves. They were staying in an RV in the far side of the property. I thought it was so sweet that they welcomed us to help ourselves to the garden. We added some nice from there radishes to a salad we had made. Also the home is far more spacious than depicted. There is a big living room downstairs. So tv upstairs for the parents to unwind after a long day outdoors and a tv downstairs for the kids. There are two couches that the kids could have slept on as we had 6 adults that needed the beds, but the hosts had bought two big mats that we laid in the floor for then instead. Beautiful place.
