Beautiful scenery of lake.

The property and location were exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful, updated home (although the kitchen floor needs a good wiping down). You can spend a quiet day by the lake outside the home or take a drive to visit other nearby attractions. The county park, about a 20-minute drive away, is a gem. Will definitely book this house again when visiting the Finger Lakes area!

Russ’s Roost was a great getaway spot - right on the way! A 6 minute drive up to town! Owners were very easy to communicate with! Loved it!!

Spent a long weekend at this lovely lake front home with our daughter, son-in-law and their 3 year old and 9 month old sons. With the weather in the 90s and humid, the beautiful shade trees in the yard, the lovely lake and the efficient air conditioning in the house, made for a perfect weekend. Everything in the house was spotless when we arrived with plenty of helpful information. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was stocked plenty of towels, linens etc. The backyard green space was perfect for lawn games and the 3 year could easily wade into the lake and toss stones to his hearts content. Lovely accomdations!!!

Great for a family; has a nice play area. Multiple gathering spots. Shore set up great for paddling and playing, but not swimming in the lake because of the weeds. There is a beach in town. The only drawback is a need for better reading lights in the sitting areas. Excellent technology though. Would definitly stay again.

The house was perfect for us. Love that we were able to keep our boat at the dock so close to the house. The fishing was great!

The house had everything you could imagine you might need for your stay. We traveled with 6 adults and 2 kids (age 2 and 3). Lots of room in the back yard to play, and the back room was nice for "being outside" when we wanted to get out of the sun. No bathtub, so we just used a small inflatable pool for the kids inside the shower stall. Kitchen was fully equipped, there was a grill outside, more seating than you will ever need. Good fishing off the dock. Would definitely stay again if we were to go back to the area!

Excellent stay. All amenities were perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable. View and access to the lake were perfect. Overall great place for a getaway.

This property is beautiful and excellent for small children as they can get into the water easily and there is also a great, flat grassy area to play on by the lake. House is very well equipped and nicely kept. Can't say enough about this place except excellent all around!

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief weekend getaway! The house is beautiful and very well equipped. Would love to come back again next year!

This trip was booked for our Sister Cousin getaway and we could not have been happier. We had an awesome time reconnecting with one another and the property made that easy to do. Enough space for all 6 of us. We played games, drank wine, watched movies, talked by the fireplace, enjoyed the view, cooked in the amazing kitchen, experienced tons of snow and took advantage of the local gems so close to the property. Everything was in order as listed and the owner was extremely helpful and responsive. I’m talking within 10 minutes. I definitely would recommend it his place.

One of the best cottage! All the facilities were functional, nice and cozy and super clean. A very very good place and we would love to be there again!

The home was wonderfully remodeled and well equipped. My kids loved the sunroom. They had their own area, while my wife and I enjoyed some quiet time in the living room. Ample parking, especially for a lakefront home in the Finger Lakes region. Easy parking for anyone with a boat. The only detractor of the weekend, of which the owners have no control, is the sorry state of the lake. I didn't bother to launch my boat due to the algae.

This property was very pretty with gorgeous views of the lake. Recently, five friends and myself rented this place and we had a great time. The living area was plenty big with a huge 65 inch TV which we enjoyed playing video games and watching TV on. We really liked the open design of the kitchen, living room, and dining room and we spent many nights cooking and eating there. Finally, the view of the lake was just stunning and especially from the four season room! I had forgotten how beautiful the finger lakes are. On top of viewing the lake, we used the outside space to play kanjam, spikeball, and have bonfires. There was plenty of room for all of those activities. It’s rare to find that much outdoor space at a lake house! There were only two major drawbacks of the property. Firstly, there is no dishwasher. This is a bummer when primarily cooking and eating in. Obviously not the end of the world, but a bummer. Secondly, the beds only comfortably sleep 4 full grown adults. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and what seems to be double beds in the other two rooms. The group I was in had six men in their twenties which meant that two of them had to sleep somewhere else. We ended up bringing an air mattress and sleeping on a couch. If a dishwasher and some bigger beds were added this would be the perfect property!

Very nice place

This place is beautiful and just as the pictures show. Everything you could need is provided. Stony “beach” area is great for kids and it goes right into shallow water. Would love to have stayed longer.

Everything was amazing. My 9 & 11 year olds loved every minute of our time there. Great family get away!

We loved staying at this property! Everything was super clean and organized. Our kids loved hanging out in the back room and playing in the snow. The house is located close to Bristol Mt. We hope to stay here again this summer to enjoy the lake.

Pictures on line did not do this home justice. It was beautiful. Hi line everything in the home. Wonderful kitchen. My son is a chef and he visited and had everything he needed to cook and more. The home was immaculate and spotless upon check in. Everything you could want or need was there. Unlike some places I've stayed on VRBO, the home has thoughtful instructions on how to find and operate everything. And the location right on the lake is beautiful. Granted this was winter....but we ice fished and the lake is right outside the door. All of the linens and bedrooms were top of the line, beds very comfortable and the shower in the master bedroom is wonderful Two shower heads and multiple other body level shower heads......it was hard to shut the water off and get out of the shower. And....the location is a short drive to Naples where there are stores, banks, a grocery and the wonderful Roots Cafe. There are some services closer in Honeoye, but being winter the options were limited.Highly recommend.

The view is amazing, every room is comfortable, the sunroom is amazing even in winter, it’s warm and inviting. Everything was very clean (and I’m fussy!!) It was just the recharge we needed. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. There was plenty on tv, but we had to learn how to livestream bc well... Buffalo Bills are in the playoffs!! #billsmafia. We thank the hosts for a wonderful weekend, would definitely recommend and will be back for sure.
