We stayed here for a whole week in mid June. Just a beautiful and peaceful place. The views are amazing with the sea, the mountains, the flora and fauna. The accommodation fabulous, beautifully and thoughtfully designed. We just loved the garden, outdoor kitchen, the swimming and the patio which is a great place for star gazing late at night. Our host greeted us with a delightful welcome treat and made sure everything was perfect. We loved the whole holiday and will return. Highly recommended.

When we arrived the view from the terrace literally took our breath away. The terrace is beautiful with a fabulous pool and sunbeds, and the real wow factor- the circular stone seating area that looks out onto the sea. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, everything beautifully designed and finished. Our football mad son loved the football pitch! Inside the villa it is air conditioned and immaculately clean. The cleanest villa we have ever stayed in! The showers are powerful and again there is everything you need. Sorin is a kind and very generous host. He offered to get us some shopping when we arrived and left us snacks after our journey. We were left a lovely welcome basket full of local produce and wine and water in the fridge. Nothing was too much trouble for Sorin, we felt as though we had our own concierge on hand and his recommendations were great. It also felt safe and reassuring to have him nearby, particularly in these uncertain times and with our lack of knowledge of Greek, we knew he would help us if we needed anything urgent. We were even able to choose our cleaning days and times, which was fantastic as we weren’t hurrying out of the cleaners way as we usually are on holiday. There were plenty of clean towels for the shower and pool and toilet rolls were replenished. There were dishwasher tablets and washing liquid, olive oils, tea, coffee and sugar- worth mentioning as some villas have nothing there at all. The villa is at the end of quite a long bumpy, steep road and having a car is essential, but it is like reaching the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Villa Mirabello did not disappoint. Every time we opened the doors to that view we couldn’t believe it, even after two weeks it was still breathtaking. It is a very, very special place. We are so sad to have left and hope to return one day. Thank you Sorin for being a wonderful host, and all your help and helping us to unwind at your beautiful home.

this house is stylish, gorgeous position, gorgeous view, and you can see from all the details that the owner, an experienced international gentleman, built it for himself. it is as refined as a 5* resort home, perfectly clean, perfectly functional. the owner who lives nearby when he doesn't use it for himself, is the most caring host you can expect, he knows every angle of Crete, and he really goes the extra mile for you. We've travelled all the continents and this was without doubt one of our very best stays ever! Soooo relaxing ... thanks for all, Sorin!
