Monique and Jacque are very friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was well supplied to get the visit off to a great start. Though you are steps from the walking streets and the lively social scene, the apartment is quiet at night. The apartment is half a block from the legendary Loire Valley bike trails and there is space to leave your rental bike in the alcove, so that it's convenient for a multiple days rental. If I return to Tours, I would definitely stay here again.

This place has an efficient design with everything in the kitchen for cooking and comfortable relaxation. Location gives great access to local restaurants, bars and train station. Host and husband give you a wonderful French greeting to this city. Perfect base for exploring.

Les petites attentions de Monique à notre arrivée font toute la différence. Le logement est très bien situé au centre ville, tout en restant assez tranquille. Merci à Monique pour son accueil.

Hemos pasado seis días en este bonito apartamento del centro de Tours. Está perfectamente equipado y decorado con un gusto exquisito. El apartamento está en una calle muy tranquila perpendicular a la calle principal del centro histórico, hay muchísimos restaurantes y tiendas. Con el aparcamiento no tuvimos problemas, hay una pequeña placita enfrente del apartamento. Monique y su marido son súper amables, a la llegada tenían preparada agua y zumo fresquito, confitura de frutos rojos y tomatitos de su huerta. Todo genial. Muy recomendable. Muchas gracias a Monique y Jack.

Un séjour d'une semaine inoubliable qui a débuté grâce à l'accueil des propriétaires dont les petites attentions pour notre arrivée (confiture maison, figues du jardin) nous ont touchés Une très bonne adresse à retenir si on souhaite visiter Tours et les environs.

The lovely owners left figs and fresh tomatoes from their garden and they were delicious and some confiture which was homemade. All in all a very pleasant stay in a comfortable gîte.

Hosts were very welcoming. Ideal location for exploring Tours and Loire chateaux. Apartment has all you need.

Mon deuxième séjour de plus de trois semaines a été aussi enchanteur que le premier. J'ai déjà réservé pour l'année prochaine. Encore merci à Monique et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux, le confort et le caractère de cet appartement lumineux, spacieux et confortable au coeur de Tours, tout près de la rue Colbert, son animation, ses restaurants - mais pourtant si calme, à quelques pas de la Loire, tumultueuse cette année, paresseuse l'an dernier. Tout est de bon goût, de la vaisselle ancienne aux torchons et serviettes brodées. Un chez soi douillet, où l'on a pensé à tous les détails pratiques, du cabas pour faire les courses au parapluie, particulièrement appréciable quand on doit travailler longtemps loin de son domicile, que je recommande vivement... quand ce n'est pas moi qui peux, qui veux en profiter...

Es el apartamento ideal para conocer los Castillos del Loira. Está muy bien ubicado, es precioso, limpio y muy bien decorado: los muebles, la vajilla, las flores...Te encuentras como en tu casa, con muchos detalles a tu alrededor. Los dueños son encantadores, simpáticos y cariñosos y han hecho que nuestra estancia sea ideal y con ganas de repetir. Está en pleno centro de Tours, con muchos bares, restaurantes y tiendas para comprar. En cuanto al aparcamiento, no hemos tenido problema.

My husband & I were fortunate enough to spend the whole of July 2014 in this lovely apartment. It had everything you could possibly and was just off the main street. The ambiance of the apartment was exceptional & everything within walking distance - it was a marvellous central base from which to easily explore the different regions of France. Our hosts met us at the station & were very helpful & kind during our stay. We felt very at home in this lovely apartment & had a wonderful month there.

From the moment we arrived in Tours, where the owners picked us up at the train station, our stay was perfect. The apartment was lovely and well appointed with all we needed. The location couldn't be better just around the corner from restaurants and shops but still quiet for sleeping. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tours.

This apartment has all the modern conveniences - toaster, coffee maker, full stove, microwave, TV and WIFI, and also some charming antique characteristics: the ceiling with its heavy beams, a large stone fireplace, a bookcase full of fascinating old books. It is bright, quiet and conveniently located, just a 10 to 15 minute walk to the train station, less than 5 to the nearby grocery store and many restaurants (Le Lapin qui Fume among them). The large bed is very comfortable and has individual bed-side reading lights. The owners are warm and hospitable, greeting guests like friends of long standing. A perfect spot for visiting Tours and the chateaux of the Loire. Merci encore, Monique et Jack!

This is such a lovely apartment and we enjoyed every minute of our holiday here. Monique and her husband are the most welcoming and kind people and when we met them went out of their way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The apartment is very clean and tidy and has all amenities you would need. It is in a great location right next to shops, bars and restaurants but also very quite at night. We cant wait to return again in the future! C'est comme un bel appartement et nous avons apprécié chaque minute de notre séjour ici. Monique et son mari sont les gens les plus accueillants et gentils et lorsque nous les avons rencontrés sont sortis de leur façon de s'assurer que notre séjour soit aussi agréable que possible. L'appartement est très propre et bien rangé et a toutes les commodités dont vous auriez besoin. Il est dans un excellent emplacement juste à côté des commerces, bars et restaurants, mais aussi très calme la nuit. Nous sommes impatients d'y retourner dans le futur!
