We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous house. More beautiful than the pictures. The kids loved swimming and we loved sipping wine on the poolside terrace. We were able to arrange a wonderful chef to bring breakfast each morning, which was well worth the extra cost. Perfect!!

This was an excellent place for two couples to have their own space but be able to get together to eat and socialise in the spacious living / dining / kitchen area. Pool was not heated early May and therefore unusable for swimming but nice to sit around. Problem with water pressure in one en-suite bathroom was sorted quickly although feel that the bathroom could be better as the drains were noisy and there was no shelf in the shower for soaps etc. All in all a good experience. The photos don’t do it justice.

What a great spot! Lovely lovely lovely. Fabulous location in the charming village of Gordes. Amazing family spot. Great layout of house. Comfy beds. Smell of jasmine as you lay by the pool enjoying a glass of rose and the blue luberon sky. Plenty of wine glasses. Could have used a cozy throw for the evenings. But really can’t think of any negatives. Would stay here again. And again.

We traveled from Saint Rémy where we spent a week-which was beautiful. Ending our stay in Provence at this wonderful home in Gordes was perfect. The home is bright and welcoming. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing. A perfect ending in Provence. We had been to Gordes in the past on day trips but we never had the experience of waking up there-so our stay was spectacular. Easy access to many beautiful places that our a 15-to 30 min drive. We will be back again. Your home is pretty much out of a dream. Thank you

Conveniently located for visiting small towns in Provence. Very comfortable and well arranged home with everything you need.

This house was simply perfect for our one week stay in Provence. We were able to use it as a base for touring nearby Avignon, Pont du Gard, Nimes, and the numerous castles in Provence. When we returned after a day of touring, it was awesome having our newly purchased wine while seated beside the pool. Our stay was the end of September, so the pool was too cold for swimming, but we had beautiful warm days with cool nights. The owner, as well as the local manager (both are named Helena), were extremely helpful and responsive. The house is huge and we would rate it 5 stars. We used both a/c and a little bit of heat on a couple of mornings, and the system was perfect. The house is nicely equipped with all the modern appliances and worked well for preparing dinner when we chose to dine in. The access to downtown Gordes was perfect. Simply drive 300 meters to the huge local parking lot that is free after 7:00 pm. Downtown is walkable, but it's a bit of an uphill hike after dinner, so we chose to use the free parking lot. It was truly the perfect base for touring Provence!

The house is a short walking distance from the center of one of the most beautiful villages in France. The pool and AC were perfect to cool off after hot summer days spent discovering the area. Very peaceful

Truly one of the loveliest properties we have ever stayed in. The host was very communicative and when there was an issue with the wifi we were called back immediately and they worked on resolving right away. Just exceptional. Highly recommend!

We had a short but very relaxing stay at this very spacious home, just a few minutes walking from the center of Gordes - an amazing location. We contacted the property manager to see if the pool could be heated - we swam the first two days without heat, which was fine, but just a little too cold with the evening winds (our 11 year old daughter had no problem). We took full advantage of the pool on our last day, when the pool had been fully heated. It was marvelous! The house could benefit from more instructions on how to use certain appliances as well as the TV, but we managed on our own. Overall, we enjoyed the house very much.

We had a lovely stay at this property! The home is much more beautiful in person. It is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The pool area is a dream with shaded areas to dine or relax. We enjoyed exploring the Luberon Valley in the morning, swimming in the pool in the afternoons and walking to town for dinner each night. This is a special home and location. 3 *** A l’image de notre notation, les 3 jours passés dans votre maison ont été mitigé. Les nombreux éléments de décoration intérieure, les beaux espaces et sa situation au sein du Village, la piscine chauffée et votre jardin bien entretenu confèrent des atouts très appréciables. Si ces points sont conformes à la description de votre annonce, il n’en demeure pas moins vrai que nous avons eu à subir des désagréments peu acceptables au regard du montant des 600 € la nuit que vous nous avez demandé. Pour être précis sur nos remarques il nous a semblé utile de joindre des photos sur nos objections. En premier lieu, un accueil par une personne qui répond à nos demandes effectuées bien avant de rapprochement de lit ou de courses en vue de petits déjeuners, par une exonération de responsabilité en nous signalant le côté trop tardif de votre mail, nous a surpris. Lors de la visite de votre maison, lorsque nous avons signalé le caractère dangereux de la dernière marche d’accès à la salle de télévision qui était déclipsée en présentant une cause importante de chute la nuit, cela fut justifié par la découverte du problème le matin après le départ des derniers occupants. Malheureusement le point suivant contredit cette argumentation, car l’odeur insoutenable des pièces d’eau et WC, que vous avez justifié comme une généralité de la Ville de Gordes, démontre que votre maison n’était pas occupée depuis un certain temps et que la mise en eau de vos canalisations et siphons résoudraient ce délicat problème d’odeur (pour la petite histoire, j’exploite personnellement une entreprise de Plomberie et d’aménagement de pièce d’eau). Ensuite mettre à disposition un logement sans éclairage sur la table de salle à manger et nous faire croire qu’il s’agit de problème de WIFI et de délai de mise en route n’est pas bien honnête, car vous nous avez privé à 3 reprises du plaisir et de la convivialité d’un dîner entre amis. Enfin proposer une chambre sans occultant à la fenêtre ni rideau, ni volet ou store et quand de surcroit, la même pièce dispose d’une porte dont le frottement au sol empêche son ouverture (et cela depuis un certain temps comme peut l’attester l’état du sol strié sur plusieurs millimètres), dépasse à mon avis un comportement désinvolte ou négligent. Vous avez eu la délicatesse de nous accepter un départ tardif lié au fait qu’aucune location était prévue après nous, vous vous êtes donnée la peine de nous appeler de l’étranger pour tenter maladroitement de just

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home only a short walk into Gordes. The pool was great and everything very comfortable. We recommend travelling to other villages at night some nights for dinner too which we enjoyed a lot like Ménerbes and Goult. Highly recommend.

Maison très agréable et très bien située.

Beautiful, spacious house a short walk (500 metres) to the center of Gordes, loveliest of the Luberon villages. We (my wife son and I) were there the third week of September, cool nights, warm afternoons, using it as a base to visit the surrounding area (Avignon, Arles, Aix, Nimes, Pont du Gard, Isle-sur-la Sorgue, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Vaison La Romaine, Abbaye de Senanque, Rousillon, St Remy de Provence). Was a perfect place and time of year for this purpose, summer crowds gone, quiet drives on back roads through olive groves and vineyards. Only downside is you will have missed the lavender in bloom. If you stay in Gordes, highly recommend lunch on the terrace at the Bastide de Gordes, also at La Borie Spa, a mile outside town on the road to the Abbaye de Senanque.

We liked the tasteful, simple luxury of this property. Everything was nice and clean, we didn’t use the pool as the water was freezing but it was nice to look at! Everything went very smoothly.

Gordes is a great choice for exploring the luberon and the rest of Provence. The villa is just a short walk from the village center, so close to restaurants, shops, and the Tuesday market! Two large bedrooms can serve as masters and there is an additional room with two twin beds for kids. The place is very spacious with a beautiful pool and lovely grounds with fruit trees, completely surrounded by a tall stone wall. Very private, quiet. Beautiful starry nights.

We had four wonderful days at this lovely villa, I only wish it could've been longer. As others have mentioned, the house is very comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. Helena was very responsive to questions and made the wonderful recommendation of L'Artegal restaurant in the centre of town. I regret that I didn't book in advance the chef she recommended to cook one night at home- there's a covered terrace with a large table for al fresco dining. A slight word of caution: the stairs leading to the master are not built in and there's no handrail- someone who's elderly or a little unsteady might not be completely comfortable with it. There are however two other bedrooms that are accessible on the ground level. My only suggestion for improvement would be an investment in a good wine opener-- we had to wrestle with that thing every night! :-)

We were one couple having invited our 2 elerdely mothers to join us for a week's stay. The master bedroom is nicely separated from the other 2 bedrooms, all of which is joined by very spacious living space/dining room/open plan kitchen and direct access to the covered terasse and the middle, the pool. Gordes is 5 minutes on foot and many other beautiful villages and sites within 30 minutes driving time. Everyone loved the stay, great place for multigenerational group.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The house was perfectly located for our trip to Provence, being in a quiet spot just a short walk from the centre of Gordes, (it was great to be able to walk to restaurants each evening and to Gordes market, without the stress of trying to park in the town). The grounds were very secure with electric gates and easy parking. The garden was private and well kept. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean.We highly recommend a stay here and would love to return. Thank you Helena and housekeeper Helene for making us feel so welcome.
