Reviewer Comments: It was great, I have coming to lands end for over 20 years I love the place, I have two complains, I think there should be more of a start up kit such dishwasher detegent and washing soap and not small bars of soap that are left there, the second is the garbage shootit is was so full of what look like cockroachs that I would not drop my garbage there I threw it in the door on the ground floor the shoot should be spray, and apart from that we had a great vacation and I am going to book the same two weeks in 2015Peter Thorogood

Other amenities were also great. Our teens loved the volleyball and tennis courts, pool, and hot tub. The condo could use some updating. The carpet was very dirty. We were nit even comfortable walking around bare foot. The mattresses were not comfortable. The condo was steps from the beach and had gorgeous views. We had friends staying in other units that were updated and cleaner. We would return to Land's End in the future, but probably look for a different unit.

Although we are disapponted that the beach has physically become smaller over the years it is still a peaceful place to stay. Over the years the number of people who don't live at the property have increased and using the beach...but for the most part it is still a nice beach.

There was no tupperware present in the unit, which presented a slight hiccup, but we just bought a few small pieces at Publix. Owners art on the walls was a nice touch. We enjoyed seeing the dolphins daily and would absolutely recommend to a friend or relative.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chek-in was a breeze (we came after hours, and our paperwork was ready). The place has a nice layout, with bedrooms close to each other. We had a child stay with us, and the closeness of bedrooms allowed for easy nights. The beach view is priceless, and the beach itself is almost at an arm's length. The swimming pool is great to have when ocean water is too cold or overly active. One thing that stands out about this particular condo is that it is not overly filled with furniture. We have been to several different condos and houses, and more often than not, every inch is filled with a chair, a chaise, an ottoman, or some other useless thing that we just move as close as possible to the wall and try not to bump into. This was a complete opposite: just the right amount of furniture, and enough free space. Again, staying with a child, this was invaluable. It is filled with mirrors, which can be a turn-off for some, but we got used to them after a day or two. Overall, this was an extremely enjoyable experience.

The beach is beautiful and very private. It's located at the end of the island beyond a mostly residential area. We've seen dolfin, manatees, and turtle nests. Of all the vacation locales we've frequented over the years, the family agrees, Treasure Island, and in particular, Land's End, is our favorite. This particular condo, although very nice, could use some updating, and beware, there are no beach chairs, umbrellas or toys. For a cash deposit, the rental company will loan 2 chairs and an umbrella. Over all, no complaints.

Reviewer Comments: I would say honestly that everything would have been perfect, except that about 3 days before we were due to return I got a phone call that my father (who had been put into hospice right before we left town) was doing very badly and my family thought I should come home ASAP. I flew out that afternoon, leaving my husband behind. So I'd like to say I'd have fond memories of this trip, but honestly, not so much because it ended so sadly.
