Location and all the facilities in the house. And the house was superclean!

I did not understand that the codebox was the keybox Thought that I could open the door with the code. But after a call to Richard, the very friendly host, explaining me what to do, everything went okay.

Attention to details -everything had been thought through. Exceptionally clean. Host responded very quickly to queries.

Central location. Appreciated the welcome pack. Very comfortable 2 bedrooms. Great communication when needed. Very clean and well appointed for self catering.

Concerns about the drop to road just outside front door. Saw potential for accidents there.

Fabulous location. A tasteful, modern and relaxed decor that created an ambience to enjoy the location and surrounds. The car park was a bonus. Owner went above and beyond to accommodate last minute changes in our arrival schedule and making our stay a pleasant travel experience.

The property was small but very cosy. It was very clean and well furnished. A central location and dedicated parking. I would highly recommend it

As there were 4 of us another shower but there were two toilets and we managed fine.

The beds were too small. Some to be said about the bedrooms.

Location in Kirkwall was great. Quiet street off the main shopping precinct. Apartment kitchen has everything you’d ever need. Grocery store just down the street. Great selection of guide books and maps in the apartment. Had heater on timer. Upstairs two bedrooms, One bathroom with toilet. Downstairs is the entry, full kitchen, toilet, lounge and eating area. Designated car park out front. Perfect!

Awesome appartment for holydays, just in center of Kirkwall. All the furniture and every type of kitchen accesory was there ready to use, appreciated even the extra measures for our health. I strongly recommend it.

This property was ideal for our stay with a family of four. The location is perfect and the place is very clean, cozy and well appointed. The shower pressure was great (and a nice large shower too) and it had all the appliances needed. Very cosy and warm inside, with heating units in both the ground floor and upstairs, despite some pretty cold April temperatures outside. there is an amazing cafe right across the street, and we did takeaway breakfasts and lunches that we took back to the place. I highly recommend staying at Orkneyinga!

The only very very slight issue that we had was although there is private parking, it only fits 3 cars for 4 properties. There is additional free parking overnight (6pm to 8am, and all day Sunday). Not really the owners' responsibility, but there were a couple days where the other residents had already filled up the private parking. We easily found other parking in a 10/15 min walk, but if you were here in high season, this might be more of a challenge.

Everything you could need was within walking distance, ideal! We could leave the car parked and walk to visit family, bonus! Sadly we were in Orkney for a funeral and staying in orkneyinga made life so much easier, we could come and go as we pleased.

The only complaint I have is you need a shower curtain for the bath, we kinda soaked the bathroom!

We found the house very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for a 6 night stay. Being so close to the centre of Kirkwall was an added bonus. Loved the welcome pack of local fudge and biscuits. The hosts were very helpful with arrival information etc.

Everything, if I was a host I'd have covered everything like the current hosts did. This was absolutely fantastic accommodation in a very central location. All aspects were considered and provided for. Superb.
