We were amazed by the green vegetation around which made it very pleasant. The property had everything you needed for a vacation.. Highly recommended this property which is within walking distance to the city..

The house was amazing. The downstairs games room was a hit with our kids! It was a place where they could play billiards, games or watch TV which had Netflix which was another favourite. The upstairs living room also had a large screen TV with Netflix. It was only a 2-3 minute drive to the shops and main beach. The property manager was terrific and quick to reply when we had questions. We will definitely be booking this house again! We highly recommend it!

A nice property, unfortunately dated and in need of maintenance. We couldnt use the outdoor table in fear the badly worn chairs wouldnt hold us, The decking is on the verge of being dangerous. And the 2 car car port at tge bottom of a Very steep driveway has a pile of timer to the side making it impossible to get 2 cars in, as well as the bushes along the driveway being too overgrown to allow manoeuvring of a 2nd car into the carport. Downstairs smells very stale and the flywire door barely slides. The ensuite on the main bedroom has a tiny basin on the wall that is barely useable and the shower in the main bathroom is in the bath and very difficult to move in. After a few days we finally found the well concealed cieling fan control (in the pantry cupboard). Very 80’s, but comfortable and made the base of a very enjoyable holiday. Really needs some very overdue maintenance and updating.

Why does it take so long for the property deposit to be paid back to me?

Unfortunately the listing did not meet expectations. It states that the deck is covered, due to the weather and lack of shelter we were unable to use the deck. The backyard is not accessible either. The downstairs playroom is obviously under renovations, but due to the strong smell of mildue we were unable to utilise this area, thus the children werent given much space to play. We booked this property as it stated it had plenty of room for the children, but with no backyard, no games room and the rain not allowing us on the deck, everyone was stuck within the upstairs area.

Tidy appearance from roadway however, this property would not be suitable for people with mobility issues due to extreme steepness with driveway. No useable yard areas outside to play for kids except for the elevated rear deck which is not really suitable but, did not impact us as we came down here for the beach. There was a smell that was evident as soon as we entered the home which remained throughout our stay and eventually forced us to purchase plug in 240v air fresheners in an a attempt to override the smell. Overall though, apart from these couple of issues, the house was comfortable, the hosts communicated well and were happy to allow us to squeeze in 2 extra people on mattresses on the floor at no extra cost. Nice quiet area within a five minute walk to the footbridge and shops. We would stay here again

Great for kids with pool table x2 smart TVs. Double story with forest in back yard made decking around house a highlight watching birds, sunrise and sunsets. Quick 15min walk to beach 10minutes to shops. Awesome location.

Well equipped and roomy

Comfortable house in a good location that is close (walking distance) to most things in town and short drive to everything else. No outdoor space, except deck. Mostly prompt communication with property manager. Would recommend!

Property needed some maintenance and deep cleaning, no basic things like tea, coffee or sugar(Sugar that was there was dirty). There was a smell as soon as you walked in and it remained the whole time. Driveway very steep, this property would not suit anyone with mobility issues.

We had a lovely stay in this large house which worked well for our group and indifferent weather conditions. Good indoor / outdoor areas.We only had 1 issue: the website says 4 Queen beds but there was 1 Queen, 2 double and 2 singles. We had no problems with this except we bought our own linen. Otherwise it was well equipped and very functional.

We enjoyed staying at the house. Lovely outlook over the trees so it felt like you were not in a residential area. Great location close to everything. Wonderful that we could take our dogs with us.

We had a great weekend, communication with the owners was easy, the house was very homely and lovely and warm throughout with the wood fire and split system heating. The house was spotless and in a great spot close to town, we will defiantly be back. Thanks you

We were after a property that we could stay at all weekend without having to go out! This place was fantastic as there were plenty of comfy beds and the whole house was great! The pool table was great and the wood fire was even better! Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay. Location convenient to town and beach. Comfy coaches and nice log burner. Disappointed with cleanliness and food left in the cooker. Drive entrance very steep and not suitable for elderly.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your place in Lakes Entrance. Absolute perfect choice for us with 4 teenage children looking for activities close by. We walked to the beach, mini golf and the cruise departure point which took us to Metung on a magnificent lunch cruise. The house itself was neat and tidy when we arrived was exactly as listed in the advertisement. The choice of DVD's was good and watched a couple while we relaxed. It was also nice to have a couple of family outdoor BBQ's sitting around the lovely peaceful setting. Thanks again, it was a perfect spot for our mini family break prior to Christmas. Well located well appointed house with everything you need for staying in beautiful Lakes Entrance. Would definitely stay again and loved the pool table !

The house was easily accessible and tidy, plenty of space for our adult weekend away but would be suitable for our children aswell! The rumpus room was excellent we used it everyday! The fire kept us warm our entire stay and the couches were so comfortable! We loved it! Loved it!

The photos make the property look much better than it is. We spent hours on the first night cleaning the kitchen - utensils, cutlery, crockery, pans etc as we found food caked on to tongs and forks and plates. The cupboards themselves were dirty and full of crumbs and stains. The dishwasher had manky stale water in it so we had to wash that before we could wash the dishes. The pantry was full of left over food, some of it out of date and others not cleaned properly (eg sauce in sauce bottles etc.) Lastly, the chewed on chopsticks were disgusting also! Given the disgusting state of the kitchen we were concerned about the bedding and chose to sleep with our T-shirts over the supplied pillows and pillow cases. Some of the games had missing pieces making them impossible to play - don’t even bother trying to play Upwords, it has NO letter tiles! The billiard table is a joke! It’s not useable! It has a lean and rips in the felt. We contacted the owners on our first night to notify them that one bedroom had no lights (other than bedside tables) and throughout the house there were 5 light globes not working. The owner suggested that we could go buy the globes and they’d reimburse us... not how we want to spend our weekend away! Tidying up and doing maintenance to someone else’s property! Given this is a house that is supposed to comfortably accommodate 8 people with the sleeping arrangements, we were surprised to find only a round 4 seater dining table inside - which is not what the pictures in the listing show! The stove takes forever to cook anything and the cheap pans mean you have to cake everything with oil otherwise it just sticks. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Whilst we recognise that many of these problems may have arisen from ordinary cleaners and poor communication from previous guests, we were also disheartened by the owners disregard for our concerns even when we mentioned the disgusting state of the kitchen. We would not recommend or return to this property.
