This house was all we could have wanted - the views from nearly every room are even better than the pictures, including from the hot tub. The house is in excellent condition and was super clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked and the house has all the comforts you could want, from the wood stove for cold and foggy days to the fans for hot days. We would happily stay here again.

This was an unanticipated amazing get away weekend! I missed the part on the listing about no TV but it wound up being one of the biggest highlights of the weekend! In addition to the location, private hot tub, and personal dock, couldn't have asked for a better way to get away. It was amazing to disconnect, listen to music, and play non-electronic games for an entire weekend. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits.

This property is beautifully renovated and maintained and has a 5 star kitchen. Hot tub overlooking Tomales Bay was divine!

We've rented several homes in Stinson and Seadrift that have been good to great. Sea Mist is awesome. Clean, well-stocked, quiet, beautiful views and peaceful. It's the kind of place you look up to see if you could figure out how to buy it. We were there for a power outage and property manager visited with supplies and offer to help. Our kids are older. This wouldn't have been ideal for them as toddlers. It's more of a grown up space.

We spent a delightful weekend on Tomales Bay, enjoying spectacular October weather and wonderful vistas from the house and deck. This spot is cozy, well appointed, well maintained, and a great location.

Two of the three main advertised features were accurate for our stay: it was a two-bedroom cottage located over the water with great views. But despite lots of correspondence and promises, the hot tub never worked even after we spent hours in our swim suits trying everything to get the heat to come on two nights in a row. To make matters worse, we were charged the same price as though it had been working. That left a bad taste in what would have otherwise been a good stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Mist. It is quiet, well-equipped, and located well for hiking and enjoying the area.

Loved everything about this quaint spot on Tomales bay: comfortable beds, hot tub on the water, nicely outfitted kitchen. Our only regret was, due to the height of the pier deck, we couldn’t launch our kayaks. However, beach access for kayaks down the road is about 100 yards away.

Gorgeous and peaceful...Hope to return soon for a longer stay.

Wonderful location right on bay, clean and well maintained, convenient for entire Tomales Bay and Pt. Reyes excursions or just relaxing on the deck with local oysters fresh from the bay.

We checked in Thursday afternoon - the house was clean and cozy (thanks for leaving the space heaters on). Besides a couple of bike-rides (one to Tomales and back, the other to Olema and back) we spent all our time on the deck overlooking Tomales Bay, reading, relaxing, eating, talking. Both days we took advantage of the hot tub (after the bike ride) and loved the fireplace. Thanks a lot for the use of this bay-side cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Mist. The accommodations were perfect. The atmosphere and view of Tomales Bay was divine. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after long hikes in Point Reyes. We look forward to our next stay at Sea Mist.

We loved our stay! The house is extremely comfortable and the view amazing! The first night off the dock we saw an electric ray and five otters. The sunset was gorgeous. The kitchen was extremely well furnished. I only have wonderful things to say about the house and location.

Your property was so beautiful. We felt so at home. The cottage was cozy has a lot of character. Thank you for a home away from home with everything that is needed so the packing was very simple. Charming and quaint.

This was the perfect getaway for attending our friend’s wedding. Peaceful and the views were amazing. Cozy beds, warm fire stove and the jacuzzi overlooking the bay were a wonderful added bonus. Had a great time and the Marshall Store for oysters just down the street is a must!! Our first time trying Oysters and they were amazing. We hope to return one day again. Still so much we want to do and see in this beautiful area. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Clean and comfortable cottage overlooking beautiful Tomales Bay. Has a very nautical feel. A great place to stay if you're into hiking, kayaking and other outdoorsy stuff. It's also a great place to stay if you just want to relax on the deck, read a book, and listen to the waves lap against the shore.

Wonderful except that the hot tub never got above the mid 90s. No real way to troubleshoot that based on the instructions so that was a bummer. Everything else was great.

Noted that front door lock did not work property and notified property manager who came but could not repair the lock and therefore the property was essentially unsecured for the whole period of our three stay

I hate to give a glowing review on this property but anything else would be a lie!( I don't want other people booking up our time) The Sea Mist has been a girls trip destination for many many years. We walk in and say "We're home" We love everything about this property except we did miss the ship wheel light cover in the den. We have made many friends in Marshall over the years and enjoy seeing them every year. Lori is easy to work with and will address any concerns quickly. My wife and I spent four nights at Sea Mist and we were very pleased with our choice. The weather was such that we could use the outside deck constantly apart from the first evening when we had to avail ourselves of the wood burning stove. The other three nights offered us beautiful sunsets as we washed down our Hog Island Oysters with sparkling wine bought in Napa. Cooking facilities were good and my wife made a fabulous Linguine Vongele using clams bought from Hog Island with fresh organic produce from Point Reyes station. Situated a short walk from Marshall's store (their clam chowder is a must) the location is ideal for those enjoy the serenity of Tomales Bay.

This house was perfect for me and my husband. We enjoyed the deck and privacy. I completed two puzzles that were in the closet available for guests. The kitchen is also great for easy cooking. We would definitely come back again.
