It had a dead cockroach in my room. Rooms were a bit dark.

No windows in my room made it feel stuffy. Woke up at 2-3am due to sounds of rat/cat footsteps on the roof. Got allergies from the big pillows inside the room

We loved how beautiful the hotel looks and how nice it was to be on the sky deck. Incredible views around the hotel while on the sky deck. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and took care of my family. I enjoyed breakfast every morning and I enjoyed the gym. The beds and sheets are very comfortable. The air conditioner gets cold and the water gets hot. The rooms were very clean and we got new towels everyday. There are nice size televisions in the rooms too. We can’t wait to stay here again. It was hard to say goodbye to the staff of Stonehill because they were the best part of our stay. Thank you

When we were upgraded

the location was good and was very accessible. it was near most of the restaurants and the hospital. food available in the hotel was also really good. the room was very spacious. its the same as what is shown in the picture.

the tv was broken as well as the hot shower. hot shower was working for some time then would turn off. there was no option for early check in even if its just for an hour early and no one was occupying the room, they would still ask for half day charge of the room. the door going to the terrace was so hard to use.

Staff were great; location is very accessible to all PNB, Metrobank, Schools, Malls, Jollibee, Parks. The property has a very Instagramable furnitures & architecture!

The ventilation of the property is very humid. No Air-con on the hallway of each floor. We always wake up midnight sweaty. Although, room air con is working well, it’s just the exhaust & vent that makes us sneeze every morning & sweaty midnight.

The Room was good, spacious and comfortable, well kept hotel with friendly staff.

The Breakfast was very disappointing, the food looked like it was the previous nights leftovers with no real choice for a breakfast menu.

✅Everyone at the lobby (The front desk staff, hotel porter, etc) did an exceptional job. ✅They accommodated my roommate to be transferred to another room after we complained about our first room. ✅The hallways and room were well-lit.

❌ There were too many molds (black, grey, and white) in our room.It was very mildewy and is exactly similar to an unmaintained basement room. The bed sheets were damp. Moreover, there was no window at the room at all.. the only ventilation was the fan at the toilet. This triggered my allergy attacks and I decided to leave the hotel after 1 night of stay (we booked 3 nights. - nonrefundable). We were only able to raise our concerns the following day and my roommate at least got a room transfer on the 3rd day. ❌ We have been on a long haul trip prior to arriving this hotel and being exhausted as we were, the only thing we wanted was to get proper rest and sleep. Unfortunately, there was this roofdeck party directly above our room. Their promotional ad for the event (Drinko de Mayo) stated it was only until 9 pm but in reality, it lasted until around midnight (if I remember correctly). We have just settled in our room and we were too tired to complain or request a room transfer. There was hardly any soundproofing at the room; we could hear people talking and walking down the halls. ❌ The breakfast was a total nightmare. The staff were just standing around and didn’t refill until you tell them too. I had to look where the utensils were (they were at the far left corner) and they were dirty. I was given a glass by one of the staff there which had soap stains. It was a buffet but the food didn’t look fresh, no labels and very bad selection. My foreigner companion could only eat corn flakes and milk in a tiny bowl. ❌ Since this was his first visit and introduction to Bacolod City, my foreign partner had a negative opinion of the entire city. This is because this hotel acting „high and mighty“ has very low and disappointing standard of service. I feel very ashamed and highly embarrassed for choosing Stonehill. ❌ It was very dusty. There were pile of dusts on the cable box and on the TV. The wallpapers were falling off and there were molds underneath them.

Amazing big room, beautiful new interior, comfortable bed. Big terrace with stylish sitting area. Incredible for the price we’ve paid.

Breakfast was poor, no tea for some reason. however, it was included so cannot complain much.

No wifi. Rooms not clean. There was a big spider in our room. Moved rooms. Upkeep of rooms & bathroom not good. If you request for extra pillows they charge P300 per pillow. Extra towels also are charged.

The cable in the TV doesn't work. The WIFI is spotty.

Overall, it was a superb experience. 👌 I booked a room as a surprise for my partner, and he had a really great time with his friends. The staff were very accommodating and granted all my requests. Thank you!
