We had a very fun 3 days and nights. Fantastic house, beautiful views, very tidy and has everything you need. Owner of the house very helpful and quickly responds to all questions. We’ll be back.

As there were only 3 of us, hard to say how it would work for more people. We were very comfortable. Despite the bad weather we were able to explore the entire island. Recommend cooking for yourself as offerings at the Tangalooma resort weren’t great. Didn’t try their pizza however.

Fantastic hosts. Immediate response always and went out of their way to help us when I booked the wrong ferry!
Beautiful view, comfort all round - beds, chairs and outdoor furniture.
Whilst up a few steps to get the view, a great location - above the jetty.

We absolutely loved our holiday at this house. The views are amazing from the top balcony. House is very spacious, beds are soft & comfortable. We loved having access to body boards & a double kayak. My daughter loved making friends with the kookaburra with its nest in the tree off the balcony & seeing the lizards in the garden. Stairs were a bit steep but we also found it easy enough to drive down & park in the lot behind the resort which is pretty much at the bottom of the stairs.

Spacious, beautiful comfortable home perfect for family stay. Amazing views. Only downside is difficulty getting to beach and resort for older people down steep uneven track.

This Property was fantastic, exactly as advertised and in Photographs. Will be booking again and will be staying for a lot longer next time, it was very hard to leave at Checkout Time as we loved our stay so much.

Amazing stay in Moreton! The house was well situated with easy access to the resort below- the views were stunning with spectacular sunsets. The kookaburras visit in the morning and sit on the railings of the upper deck. The house was well laid out- Grandparents upstairs and children and parents downstairs-would definitely stay here again!

View from house was amazing at all times of the day. Short walk down steps to Resort. Having upstairs & downstairs was perfect for us & we enjoyed having family meals at home. Ventured around the island every day & could have spent longer. Only bogged about 3 times but all part of the island experience. Quiet spot in Nautilus Dve & woke to sound of birds & kookaburras every morning. Our younger ones will be back for sure as their children grow! So lovely to return to a great house at the end of a fun day! Sure beats camping!! House was so well equipped & provided for all our needs. Thank you for a memorable holiday!!

Tangalooma house was perfect for our group. Great location, well set out and very well equipped..boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, great kitchen, bbq and plenty of outdoor furniture. Also good communication from Linda. The resort is so close and great being able to use the facilities. Best to use the Tangalooma ferry if you're not bringing a car, if you use Micat it's a 2.5km walk to the house. We used Tangalooma ferry and booked a shuttle to the house for $5pp. Loved every minute..kookaburras kept us entertained!

This property was great. The views over the resort are stunning, especially at sunset. The house is set up well for large group. The kookaburras came to join us for morning coffee which was amazing. While the stairs up and down are steep they are easy to navigate even if you are not that fit. Would stay again for sure.

Only tip make sure you book early to get a better connecting Micat time if travelling by car.

Was very happy with our short getaway to Moreton. The property was perfect for a getaway from life. Very spacious, views were amazing. Close enough to the resort. Absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommended to anyone wanting to escape to an island paradise, but you definitely need 4wd. :)

Very comfy beds
House is located right next to walking track to Tangalooma amenities
Only we didn’t love:
Cleaner was still present after check in time
Didn’t have oven and pizza trays
Overall was a great place to stay with extended family young and old. Will definitely stay here again!

Heaven on a sandhill
Designed for comfort and a gorgeous view. The house is located immediately above the resort so you are near activities and the beach without feeling like you are at a resort. It is immaculate and we’ll set up for a restful retreat. Thanks for a great winter holiday, we swam every day and enjoyed the table tennis and dartboard in the evenings

First and foremost , the host, Linda, was so quick to respond to all questions and do incredibly helpful!
The views were amazing and we actually enjoyed the walk up and down the many steps to the beach. We were able to secure a buggy for the final 2 days which the kids had a blast in !
Would definitely come back !

Fantastic views, Great House and Great Location
The property blew us away when we first saw it. Amazing views back from Moreton Island to Brisbane and the coastline. House was very roomy, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The only exception was it could have done with an air conditioner in the front room of the top story. As there are 3 wall sides of glass (doors to open within them) it got a bit hot late afternoon with the sun beaming in and not really any ocean breeze to cool the upstairs down. Having said that, I would still book this house again should I be going back to Moreton Island. The stair access down to Tangalooma resort was right next to the house so very convenient.
