.. la climatisation est très utile début Août même si la maison traditionnelle est parfaitement isolée avec de l'ombre sur la terrasse et le jardinet ... Parking sous la pinède est aussi ombragé ... les enfants ont une belle couleur abricot et ne nous ont pas laissé une minute de répit .. il y a tant de choses à faire et d'endroit à découvrir !!!

We have been visiting Bandol for 20 years, and this villa apartment is our favorite place. It is perfectly situated near the Beach, on one of the best spots in all Bandol. You have the best view over the sea. The apartment is nice and clean, and here you have everything you need. There is a lot of space both inside and outside on the terrace and the in the lovely garden. You can easily walk to the centre of Bandol City. We highly reccomend this place, it is absolutely amazing, and we can’t wait to get back next year:-) The owner Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dumont is very nice, and they really want you to feel at home and to have a pleasant stay. Un chantier à côté de la maison à quelque peu troublé le calme pendant qu'il travaillait C'est temporaire et le propriétaire charmant par ailleurs n'y pouvait pas grand chose

The apartment is situated at the top of a hill and thus has the most splendid view of the Bay of Bandol. Each morning as we threw open our shutters - both from the living room and the main bedroom - it took our breath away. We spent very little time in the apartment itself, which was roomy and wonderfully cool - courtesy of air conditioning! The wonderful and spacious double terraces and proximity to the beach kept us out and about all day and most of the evening. It is a little bit of a walk to the main town - probably about 10 minutes to the town square but the exercise did us all the world of good each day but the proximity to the beach (literally at the bottom of the road) was fantastic - particularly with all the beach towels and equipment for a family of 6! Having a parking space was wonderful in busy Bandol in the summer and Mme Lesne, who takes care of the apartments for the owners, was wonderfully helpful in dealing with any concerns we had. We met the lovely neighbours in one of the apartments above from Lyons who are charming. The proximity of the rail line may bother some - we were concerned on arrival and the trains are quite noisy during the day but at night, with the windows and shutters closed and the air conditioning on, we all slept very well indeed. We hope to return!

Lovely clean, comfortable apartment in an excellent location. The garden with a view of the sea is a delight, the air conditioning much appreciated with the hot weather we had and the fact that the beach is a short walk down the road was just the icing on the cake! We had our two young grandchildren with us and they had a wonderful holiday. Thank you

Cette location est vraiment très bien : grande, cosy, bien équipée, la terrasse est bordée de plantes méditerranéennes(beau bougainvillier), la vue est magnifique sur la baie ET, petit plus ,on entend la mer! (le matin et le soir depuis la chambre, c'est top !) A côté de la maison, il y a un parking privé ombragé, très pratique. La proximité de la plage à pied est très appréciable, surtout avec de jeunes enfants. (2 min à la descente et 5 min à la montée). Bandol est une belle station balnéaire, il y a un marché tous les jours dans le centre (accessible à pied en 10 min) ou avec un bus gratuit qui passe au bas de la rue (dommage, il n'y a pas bcp de rotation par jour). Le ménage est inclus dans le prix, ça fait plaisir également. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous conseillons vivement cette location !

appartement très bien meublé et agencé, terrasse on ne peut plus agréable. malgré la chaleur extérieure, l'appartement et la terrasses offrent un oasis de fraîcheur à recommander.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cet appartement. Nous étions 5 adultes. Pas de problème de place. Les 2 petites salles de bain et toilettes sont très pratiques à plusieurs. L'appartement est très grand et spacieux. Au niveau du couchage, idéal pour 4 adultes et 2 enfants. La terrasse est superbe avec ses 2 niveaux, un niveau couvert et un niveau découvert. La vue est superbe sur la mer. La proximité avec la plage était également très agréable (une rue qui descend directement à la plage, 150 m). Le stationnement est de manière générale dans Bandol et plus particulièrement dans les rues entourant l'appartement très difficile car rues étroites et en pente mais le parking privé de cet appartement est un plus indéniable (nous avons pu y stationner 2 voitures comme on était en hors saison). L'appartement est également tout près du port de Bandol et des commerces et restaurants. Possibilité de laisser la voiture et de faire tout à pied. Encore merci au propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et réactivité.

A warm welcome from Madame Lesne and a cool bottle of Bandol rose awaited us on arrival... milk too. We four adults had a relaxing week in this lovely spot. There is plenty of room both inside and out. The apartment is very well equipped, the decor is fresh with family works of art add interest to the walls. A short walk along the seafront in the morning (opposite direction from town) takes you to an excellent boulangerie where you can also breakfast. Alternatively, eat on the apartment's sunny terrace whilst taking in the beautiful views. Just a short stroll along the water's edge brings you to the town with its lovely little morning market. You will pass a small Casino supermarket en route and there is another in town. Larger supermarkets are nearby. There are plenty of clothes shops to browse too and even more in Sanary. As well as all the cafes and bars on the seafront, there are many good restaurants in the streets behind. The beach opposite the apartment is excellent and the shallow waters suitable for children. There are places to bodyboard etc very nearby. The parking space is a real bonus but the location would allow you to do without a car. We used our car only twice in the week. The trains behind the house were no problem. Bernard was very helpful on keeping us informed by email. Thank you for enabling us to discover beautiful Bandol, Bernard.

It has a great view from the lounge, bedrooms & terrace. The location is good, close to local shops, bars & restaurants with a major supermarket a short drive away. The beach is less than 5 mins walk & is beautiful, sandy & clean with the sea being shallow for a long way out, ideal for swimming & paddling. We would highly recommend this apartment both for families & for adult breaks as the apartment & area is well equipped for both.

We spent two wonderful June/July weeks with our three children in this beautiful apartment. The description of the apartment was very accurate, it was well kept, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. And it had a stunning view to the sea. What a joy it was to have a cup of tea at the terrace listening to the sound of waves from the beach and the cicada everywhere. The location of the house is excellent. It's very close to the beach, 5-10 minutes walk from the bakery and about 10 minutes away from the Bandol centre. And even with this rather central location the neighbourhood is quiet except for the railway behind the house, which didn't really disturb us though we were a little bit worried about it in advance. We weren't woken up by the trains, perhaps there weren't any at night(?). The beach close to the house was perfect to our needs, it had palm trees for shade, a beach-bar that served sandwiches etc and clear water for snorkelling (and fish too). It should also be mentioned that we felt welcome to the house already before we left home thanks to email correspondence with the very friendly and helpful owner of the apartment. We wish to be able to return to Bandol again and when we do we couldn't think of staying anywhere else than in this apartment.

Nous venons de passer de très belles vacances dans cet appartement à Bandol (fin mai/début juin 2012). L’appartement était ideál pour nous comme famille avec nos jumeaux agés de 4 ans. Mais même si on avait trois ou quatres enfants, il y aurait toujours assez de place pour bouger et jouer, notamment sur la belle grande terrasse. Car à part la terrasse proprement dit, bien à l’ombre, où nous pouvions manger tous les jours dehors, il y a encore la grande partie du jardinet fleuri où nos enfants aimaient jouer. Le salon, deux chambres et bien sûr la terrasse donnent sur la mer. On a une vue splendide dont on a apprécié tous les jours, aussi le soir en buvant un bon verre de vin de Bandol pendant que les enfants faisaient de bons rêves après une journée fantastique à la plage. Celle-ci se trouve seulement à 200 m (plage de sable), un autre atout de cet appartement. Car ainsi, on peut y aller à pied et la voiture reste bien garée dans le parking privé à côté de l’appartement sous les pins. La description et les photos correspondent tout à fait à la réalité. Comme mentionnée dans un autre commenatire, la ligne de chemin de fer à proximité ne gêne vraiment pas. On s'y habitue vite. L’appartement est bien équipé, également pour y faire la cuisine. Il y a le marché à Bandol tous les jours (15 min à pied) pour acheter des produits frais de la région. Juste en face, au bord du port, il y a un grand terrain de jeux que nos enfants adoraient. A côté de Bandol, nous avons visité Sanary-sur-mer, une très jolie ville portuaire avec des ruelles pittoresques et des jolis petits magasins. Pour conclure, n’oublions pas l’échange agréable et informatif par e-mail avec le propriétaire l’acceuil chaleureux sur place. Nous reviendront avec grand plaisir!

Agréable séjour, vue magnifique sur la mer et à 10 minutes à pied du centre de Bandol. La plage de sable fin est à deux minutes en bas de la rue. Parfait pour des vacances réussies entre amis. Pour ceux qui viennent en voiture l’emplacement privé est super. Que du positif

habitués des locations sur Bandol, nous avons été séduits par celle ci. Très belle vue sur la mer avec plage à côté, petite terrasse suffisante pour 3 enfants. Appartement très bien aménagé, chacun à son espace. En plus tout se fait à pieds sauf si l'on veut du pain "Ribéroux". Le train n 'a pas été un problème pour nous. A noter, l'accueil chaleureux et les très bons contacts mail avec le propriétaire. nous reviendrons c'est certain

Malgré la ligne de chemin de fer proche, la villa est calme. La mer à proximité, le centre ville à moins de dix minutes à pied fait qu'on peut utiliser la voiture au minimum, ce qui est très agréable. Décoration soignée, agencement fonctionnel. Jardin aménagé avec goût. Nous avons pu profiter au mieux de cette semaine de vacances avec nos quatre enfants de moins de dix ans.
