Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans l'appartement de Marianne et Ali. Il se situe au deuxième étage de leur belle maison avec jardin. Très clair, très propre et tout à fait confortable, il est extrêmement calme et silencieux. A cela , il faut ajouter la qualité de l'accueil de Marianne et d'Ali: très disponibles, d'une grande gentillesse, et cherchant à tout faire pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous aurons plaisir à revenir chez eux lors de notre prochain séjour.

Notre petit séjour à Strasbourg a été merveilleux. L’accueil de Marianne et son mari est plein d’attention, l’appartement charmant, très fonctionnel et douillet. Sa situation à proximité du tram, idéale. Je recommande chaleureusement.

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour de 4 jours dans l'appartement de Marianne. Proche de toutes commodités et du tramway qui mène directement au centre de Strasbourg. Très pratique pour les visites. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Rien ne manquait pour une famille de 2 adultes / 2 enfants. Marianne et sont mari sont vraiment charmants, flexibles, à l'écoute et prêts à répondre à toutes vos questions !

Je recherchais un lieu pour allier depaysement et temps de travail, je ne fut nullement déçu. Aux pieds des commerces, des bus, du tram, cet appartement a de très nombreux atous. Ajouté à cela des propriétaires aux petits soins pour les locataires. Un grand merci pour cette superbe semaine.

Schöne Unterkunft in der Nähe von Straßburg. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind binnen 15 Minuten per Auto oder Tram erreichbar. Wohnung ist klimatisiert und top ausgestattet. Sehr nette Vermieter. Jederzeit empfehlenswert.

Appartement charmant au 2e étage de la maison de Marianne, spacieux, fonctionnel, propre. Marianne et son mari sont également charmants avec chaque jour une douceur sucrée cuisinée et de bons conseils. Stationnement gratuit dans une rue bordant la propriété. Logement à 300m d un parking relais permettant de relier le centre de Strasbourg en tram. Tout simplement parfait et charmant !

L'appartement est idéalement situé avec le tram très proche. Le logement est bien entretenu et possède beaucoup de charme. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils, accueillants et conseillent très bien pour découvrir la région.

Wir haben die Gastfreundlichkeit von Marianne und Ali sehr geschätzt und haben eine schöne Zeit bei Ihnen verbracht. Die Wohnung war sauber und hell. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Böden, Türen, Balken und Treppen aus Holz fanden wir sehr schön und gemütlich. Ali und Marianne haben uns zum Nulltarif Fahrräder ausgeliehen und waren uns immer behilflich bei Reparaturen (wir hatten zweimal platte Reifen gefahren).

Eine schöne Ferienwohnung mit allem, was benötigt wird und mehr, als man erwarten darf. Wir waren mit einem einjährigen Kind da. Marianne und Ali hatten einen Wickeltisch, ein Babybett und einen Hochstuhl bereit gestellt. Die Wohnung ist hell und groß. Marianne und Ali sind sehr nett und man fühlt sich jederzeit sehr herzlich willkommen. Zwei tolle und nette Menschen, die uns einen wunderbar schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehle die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter.

La casa es preciosa, muy cuidada y limpia, muy bien sitiada para ir fácilmente a Strasbourg, El recibimiento que te hacen sus propietarios no puede ser mas acogedor. Marianne la propietaria está pendiente de todo si pasamos unos días más en esa casa terminamos siendo parte de su familia. Todos mis mejores deseos para es matrimonio tan encantador UN SITIO PARA VOLVER La maison est belle, très bien entretenue et propre, très bien assiégée pour aller facilement à Strasbourg, l'accueil de ses propriétaires ne peut pas être plus accueillant. Marianne, la propriétaire, est au courant de tout si nous passons quelques jours de plus dans cette maison où nous finissons par faire partie de sa famille. Très bien rien à redire seul bémol c est que le prix affiché et payé est pour 2 personnes et les frais supplémentaires à partir de 3 personnes ne sont pas inclus automatiquement dans le prix bien que l on renseigne que nous étions 4!!Bien lire l annonce dans l intégralité. I'm so glad I read the other positive reviews about this property and decided we should stay here rather than in downtown Strasbough. I can't speak highly enough about hosts Marianne and Ali. They both gave us the warmest welcome, took time to advise us when we had questions about sightseeing, and made us feel like we were part of their family. They were both very gracious, allowing me plenty of opportunities to practice my somewhat rusty French. The apartment is not only charming but clean, very comfortable & spacious. It was particularly nice having such a large, modern kitchen and a washing machine. And it was great having tourist info. literature available to look through. This is a great place to stay whether you plan to just go into Strasbourg (the tram is about 3 minutes away by car, 10 minutes on foot), visit the surrounding area, or do both (like we did). There are two grocery stores and a great boulangerie (bakery) nearby. We would absolutely stay here again with our adopted Alsation "aunt and uncle" if we come back to Strasbourg.

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Dachgeschoss eines liebevoll eingerichteten Hauses. Von der in ca. fünf Gehminuten zu erreichenden Tram-Haltestelle, sind es mit der Bahn 20 min bis in die Altstadt. Die Vermieter sind ein sehr nettes Ehepaar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We are a family of four, with kids aged 14 and 12. Mom and the kids stayed here at Marianne and Ali's place for almost a month, and dad came for the final week. This is a lovely apartment taking up the third (and top) floor of a retired couple’s charming home (American 3rd floor, French 2nd floor). We especially enjoyed the balcony, which overlooks Marianne’s beautiful garden. Marianne and Ali are warm and welcoming, sharing information, homemade goodies, and their bikes (and locks). They greeted us almost every day and talked a little French with the children. The whole family felt safe and genuinely welcomed -- Marianne and Ali even invited us down for drinks from time to time, and shared news about local events that might be of interest, sometimes patiently translating local news articles that described them. The space itself is quiet, clean, and quaint, and the amenities are complete. We moved a chair out of one of the bedrooms so we could all comfortably fit in the sitting area. The toilet is separate from the shower enclosure, which we saw as a benefit partly because there were two bathroom sinks we could use at one time. The space got a little hot when a heat wave rolled in, but they are in the process of installing an air conditioning unit. Without even asking, Marianne was already providing electric fans when the weather forecast starting indicating excessive heat. She also suggested keeping the window and shutters closed during the day, and open at night, which worked quite well. We talked to Marianne and Ali a little bit about the unique history of the home, prompted partly by historical photos they had by the stairs on the way up to the apartment. The location is great. The nearby canal bike trail was a really nice ride even for less-skilled cyclists. We rode all the way to Strasbourg on several occasions without having to go on any roads. The tram is a short walk away to access the train station, airport, and downtown. Marianne actually met the family at the train station when they arrived, and we had no problems walking to the tram station with our rolling luggage on the early morning that we had to depart. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, with just occasional street noise at night. Bakeries and grocery stores are nearly, too--we usually walked or rode bikes, or took the tram if there was a lot to haul. Parking is right by the home. The whole transaction was smooth, and there were no bad surprises at all. Highly recommended!

Location bien située pour visiter Strasbourg (2 minutes pour arriver à un P+R et le terminus d'un tram qui conduit au centre de Strasbourg) et le nord d'Alsace. Le centre d'Eckbolsheim est à 400 mètres ou on trouve quelques restaurants. Place de parking garantie. L'appartement est propre et très bien équipée. Mais il y a surtout Marianne, très aimable, sympathique, toujours disponibles et toujours prêt, ensemble avec son mari Ali, pour une conversation sur l'Alsace, la Belgique (nous sommes belges), le vin et surtout son jardin et ses plantes. Et on ne peut pas oublier les délicieux confitures qui nous attendais et l'excellent kougelhopf que Marianne nous a préparé et le géranium qu'elle nous a offert en partant… C'était vraiment top. Marieanne and Ali are very welcoming. House is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to shops. Marieanne baked some delicious Alsace desserts to welcome us which were delicious!

Our host Marianne made us feel so welcome in her beautiful French home from the moment we arrived. The apt was very charming and so clean! The apt was very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the wood floors were beautiful. Our host was very helpful about how to get around the area and what things to do. The apt is very close to public transportation. I would highly recommend staying here. I really hated to leave, I felt like a made a new friends. When we come back to this area we will certainly try to stay here again.

Staying with Marianne was like a home from home. Her welcome, kindness, and attention to detail, was better than anything we have ever experienced anywhere else. We had taken our daughter to start her 'Assistante de Langue' post in the city, and Marianne could not have been more helpful. The apartment had plenty of information about the area, but Marianne also loaned us her own books so that we could make the most of our visit. The apartment itself is beautiful and well equipped, and the view from the balcony ,which overlooks her pretty English style garden, is lovely. Eckbolsheim is about 20 minutes to the city by car, but public transport is available close by. Marianne provided home made jams and cake on arrival, as well as baking us a gorgeous plum tart later on in our stay, which were delicious. Her house is a delight, and the apartment reflects her style and personality. We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, other than to say that the apartment is on the second floor, so would not be suitable for some. Our stay here was simply wonderful, not only because of the beautiful apartment, but mostly because Marianne is the hostess from heaven!

Beautiful apartment on the top floor of a stunning traditional French house with beautiful gardens. Apartment is well equipped, with mod cons such as dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioner, adequate crockery to make simple meals, and wifi. Well furnished with beautiful traditional wooden floors. Very clean and fresh on arrival and lovely linen and towels available throughout stay. The balcony terrace is lovely to sit out for breakfast or in the evening enjoying the views of the garden and beautiful sunrise. Marianne and Al are such lovely owners and made us welcome into their home from day one, nothing was to much trouble for them, leaving gifts of fruit and produce from the garden, homemade cake and jams. They shared their knowledge of the area and advised interesting places to visit. The position of the apartment was perfect for exploring nearby Germany and Switzerland and Alasce region of France, very easy to get to as the autoroutes where very close by. The tram was around the corner and easily accessible by foot, 15mins on tram and we were in the centre of Strasbourg, such a beautiful city and so much to see and do day and night. Marianne is so proud of her beautiful garden and showed us around and gave us cuttings to take home. We had a wonderful two weeks in this lovely apartment and would recommend for exploring Alsace in France, Black Forest of Germany and Switzerland, with the best hosts. Many thanks Marianne and Al for making this holiday one we will always remember.

I don't normally write reviews, but this was something else! We were instantly made to feel part of the family & I don't think that Marianne and Ali stopped cooking exciting treats from the moment we arrived! Truly, a home from home. Our one-year-old was brilliantly accommodated in every way. Not only was the house amazing and the garden beautiful, but the location was perfect (between country and city) and the bikes that Marianne arranged for us took all 3 of us everywhere with ease. We could have stayed forever. Thank you, you created memories for a lifetime :)
