Serge and Francois have created a little paradise in Barcelonnette. The property gardens and pool area and immaculate. You wouldn’t have a clue that the owners are around as they are very discreet.
The walk into town is about 20 minutes. My youngest is 10 and we did this most nights and was easy. A safe river path no cars most of the way.
Plenty to do in a around the area. From rafting and walk boarding at the lac in Jausiers. We had a great time and the property is excellent value for money.
Great for older kids and teenagers as a mix of lazy pool days and activities.
We flew into Turin and although a 3 hour drive the roads are great and clear. Our eldest 2 bussed from nice where they were already and it was cheap and reliable for them to reach us.
Great family stay.
Loads of room in property with 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 bigger kids.
Would definitely return with all the crew.

We had a great week staying at the property. There is plenty of space inside the apartment and a huge amount outside. We are a family of 6 with boys aged 6-12 and at no point did we feel the space was too small. Some people have commented on the fact the owners live in the remainder of the chalet but they were completely unobtrusive and left us to our own means for the week. The pool was a great size and what we really enjoyed was the traffic free cycle into the town alongside the river. We would have no hesitation in returning again.

Propriétaires irréprochables d'une grande gentillesse et prestations parfaites. Région exceptionnelle pour qui aime se perdre en montagne sans prendre de risque... Beaux souvenirs garantis !

Séjour très agréable
L’appartement est très bien équipé, la vue sur le chapeau du gendarme et le pain de sucre est un plus, ainsi que le jardin où nous avons pu passer d’agréable moments pour déjeuner ou jouer au badmington.
Une mention spéciale pour nos hotes qui étaient très accueillants.

un super séjour
Tout était vraiment parfait, l'accueil et la gentillesse de la propriétaire, c'est comme à la maison. La fonctionnalité du chalet, la propreté, les lits fait à l'arrivée, la déco, l'environnement. Que du bonheur, pour passer un très bon moment, un grand merci aux propriétaires.

Très bien sauf route à proximité
Jolie maison sur Barcelonnette, extrêmement bien entretenu, notamment les extérieurs. Très agréable de manger au barbecue le soir avec vue sur les montagnes. Quelques imprécisions dans l'annonce notamment sur le fait qu'une route très passante et bruyante est accolée à la maison et sans clôture, ce qui est assez gênant pour la sécurité des enfants. Pour le reste, c'était très bien !

Un séjour parfait pour les grands et les petits
Séjour très apprécié. L'accueil est irréprochable, les hôtes ont fait de cette maison un endroit calme et confortable. Les points forts : très bien situé pour des randos époustouflantes, mobilier au complet notamment en extérieur, suffisamment grand pour s'isoler pour une petite lecture en solo :). Un tout petit point faible: cuisine et séjour un peu petits lorsqu'on est nombreux.

We had a great week with our group of 6. With a little help of very nice weather it was a great week of cycling across the cols and around Lac de Serre Poncon. The hosts provided us with a very warm welcome and the house was equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Beste Lage zum Biken
Die Unterkunft liegt am Ortsrand von Barcelonnette. Zählreiche Pässe sowie Einkaufmöglichkeiten sind kurzerhand erreichbar.
Wer Wert darauf legt abends zum Essen auszugehen, könnte in Barcelonnete etwas enttäuscht werden. Jedoch läd die gut ausgestattet Küche sowie der Weber-Grill zum selbstkochen ein ;-)
Für Rad- und Motorradfahrer sind ausreichend Anstellplätze verfügbar.
Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Superschöne Unterkunft mit allen was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen.
Wir waren fünf Tage zum Motorradfahren hier. Alles war perfekt. Sehr nette Vermieter top Lage. Die Fewo ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die vier Schlafzimmer haben komfortable Betten. Der Pool ist der Hit. Es fehlt an nichts, Sitzgelegenheiten im Außenbereich, ein großer Gasgrill, ein Carport zum unterstellen der Motorräder, alles vorhanden. Wir sagen vielen Dank an unsere Vermieter und kommen wirklich gerne mal wieder, merci beaucoup et au revoir.

Goed gelegen woning voor een fietsvakantie,aan de voet van 3 cols.
Dicht bij het centrum van Barcelonnette.
Mooi onderhouden tuin met zwembad.
De eigenaars zijn zeer gedienstig.

Propriété conforme à la description avec tout le matériel électroménager nécessaire et en état de fonctionnement!
Animations dans la propriété: piscine, badminton, tennis de table avec prêt des raquettes et balles et volants!
Bien que très intéressant, il serait pour certains utile de savoir que les propriétaires sont sur place!
Un bémol: la taille du living un peu petite pour recevoir 8 personnes quand il fait mauvais dehors ou en hiver quand on vit essentiellement à l'intérieur!

We never had a better place tot stay for biking in the mountans.

Nice place, bedrooms and showerrooms big enough. Nice swimmingpool. Living room is not big, for 4-6 oké, for 8 too small. A shed for the bikes. Very good bbq. We loved our stay.

Schöne unterkunft
Wir haben zu viert mit unseren Rennrädern eine tolle Woche hier verbracht. Schlafräume sind sehr großzügig vorhanden, der wohn-/essbereich war für uns ausreichend, für mehr als vier Personen wird es dann aber schon kuschelig. Die Räder könnten wir bequem in einem eigenen Schuppen unterbingen, das Auto auf dem Grundstück abstellen. Die Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig: von der voll ausgestatteten tischtennisplatte bis zum traumhaften Pool ist viel geboten. Für das Essen unter freiem Himmel steht eine picknickbank-/Tisch-Kombination bereit. Der vorhandene Weber-gasgrill kann genutzt werden. Die Ausstattung ist etwas gemischt, aber liebenswert: müslischüsseln sind z. B. Knapp, Schnapsgläser gibt es dafür reichlich. Bis in den Ort sind es ca. 2 km, wo es reichlich Supermärkte, Discounter, boulangerien und Restaurants gibt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Der Ausblick auf den skiort Pra Loup und die umliegenden Berge ist toll. Vielen Dank für die schöne Woche!
