This place was perfect for meeting our needs during our family Vacation! Amenities were accurate and pleasant! Bridgette was great at communication and our kids had the time of their lives! The public beach access is within walking distance or you can drive there easy peasy! The kids had a blast playing volleyball and chasing crabs during the evening on the beach. There was plenty of room to sleep for all 8 of us, appliances worked and you know when you go to the beach several times you need to shower often and we never ran out of towels! Everything was easily accessible, recommend the marina on Friday night for Karaoke and you can have your meal there right on the bay! 10/10!!

We had a great time. Short walk to the beach and a nice, quiet neighborhood. The best part was the owner. She was fantastic and easy to communicate with. Extra helpful with some nice touches at the house. Bring a volleyball to enjoy the beach court at the house.

Stayed for 1 week. House is spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the large deck outside. We ate most of our meals out there and enjoyed the evening breeze from the gulf. Our granddaughter that is in a wheelchair was easily able to move around the family rooms. Bathroom shower was too small for her, so she used the outside shower which easily accommodated her shower chair. She had a blast and really didnt want to leave. Will definitely rent again if available for our next vacation!

The house was amazing the host was great with communications and we had the best time the breeze was always blowing and it was the perfect house for our little trip! Definitely will book agian!

Our family enjoyed staying in the property which had everything we needed. The location is further down the island so there isn't as much traffic. The house is very close to a beach access that was never too crowded, and there is also a marina shop and restaurant very close as well. Check in and out was super simple and the only time I needed to contact the host, she responded immediately and even called to explain the details. It was super hot in June so we didn't utilize the outdoor space as much as we wanted to, but it was a cool set up. Overall it was a nice quiet family getaway that we'd rent again in the future.

Great location! Comfortable accommodations! Charming! Fun! Relaxing! It was exactly what we needed to enjoy out Galveston adventure!

We had a great weekend stay at the beach house. Our family loved hanging out on the deck and relaxing together. Our host was very responsive and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Literal worst experience. Please pass on this property unless you would like to share a beach house with mice. 5 sightings of mice in the first day. Terrible communication with host and we took a financial loss to leave this place and the mice.

We loved this sweet family home. The kids loved they could play volleyball. Beach right across highway.

We needed a peaceful retreat for our family and our hope is this may be an annual event for us! The beach house had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was peaceful (with lots of neighborhood pups which was wonderful because we brought our four-legged family members). The simple pleasure of just sitting out on the patio enjoying the ocean breeze restores the soul. We went for long walks around the neighborhood and marina, as well as to the beach. A short drive took us to the national park and lots of great restaurants! Finally, one of our favorite restaurants was literally within walking distance. Bridgette was responsive and accommodating! The cottage was a wonderful experience overall!

Very easy experience

The house was beautiful, and it had all of the essential items needed. I had a great time celebrating my 21st birthday with my friends and family. The kitchen island was perfect for the buffet set up. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful with no noisy neighbors.

We had a very nice short trip . The house is comfortable. Check out West end Marina , it’s only five minute walk from the house. Order fish tacos! There is also a small convenience store.

Staying at this property was a absolute great experience! From the wonderful friendly people in the neighborhood, to the accessible beach fronts nearby, and the awesome food trucks and bar, its a must stay for small families or friends :) 5/5 would rent again! Also Great Host 👍

The house itself is fine. They had enough cooking supplies and everything in the kitchen worked. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. In many ways I wish we would have had more time at the house because the outside seating area looked nice (although DON'T build a fire in the fire pit - there are holes at the bottom and you'd probably set the deck on fire). And the beach access and volleyball would be pretty nice, I think. Our problems started when I noticed that there was water rushing out from underneath the outside wall of the first story utility room. To their credit, the owners answered my calls and messages (even on Christmas Day!) I went into the utility room (dousing my shoes and getting me wet) to be able to tell them about the problem and that there was at least one burst pipe due to some freezing weather. They said they would be down to fix the water issue that night. (Another plus.) We tried to take showers that night, but there was no hot water. We figured it might have been the problem with the burst pipes. So, we planned to all take showers the next morning. To give them full credit, they did call and let me know that they would be arriving at the house and if we heard anything downstairs, it was just them. I did appreciate that communication. However, in the middle of the night we found out that the water to the house had been completely turned off. (So no flushing of the toilet with 5 ppl staying overnight in the house or water to drink, etc...) I sent a text and at about 6:30 AM got a response telling me how to turn the water back on for when we needed to use it. Still no hot water, so we decided to just not take showers. I heard from the owner in the morning and she was very nice. I let her know about not having hot water, but never heard back from her. I emailed her about a week later (we were on a cruise in the meantime) and asked about any partial refund. I didn't hear back from her after that. I was disappointed. I never expected anything like a full refund - but even something partial to recognize that the house didn't function as described would have been appropriate. (Also, there was only one full bathroom. There is a private outdoor shower, but that is the only other evidence we found of any other bathroom facilities. Claims 2.5 baths) So, my guess is the water issue has been fixed and aside from a missing full bathroom from the description, you would find this house a nice place to stay.

This was our first trip in several years due to COVID, and our first trip with our two pups. The house was cozy, quiet, and perfect. Communicated with the owner ahead of time, and she was quite easy to reach. We sincerely wanted peace and quiet and the beach… that, and amazing sleep, was exactly what we got. Several restaurants with variety are close by. There is also a stocked coffee bar at the house for your coffee needs, as well as a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer are downstairs, along with an outdoor shower. The ramp was great, too. Swing outside and the deck up top were amazing to enjoy the sunshine, breeze, and salty air. The only two issues we had at all were that the ice dispenser was not working from the fridge door and filled hollow ice. The gates at the top of the ramp and stairs outside on two spots were a little difficult to close, but once you figured out to lift it up a bit, all was fine. We wish that the sliding glass door had a curtain or blinds — it looked like one was there at one point. The cabana out back was wonderful to sit under. We didn’t take advantage of the sand volleyball court on site, sadly. But it looked great! A lot of love has been put into this quiet getaway. So very thankful that we found it, and that we were able to vacation with our pups, who LOVED the beach as much as we always have! Would highly recommend staying here, and we would definitely stay here again!!!

Super friendly homeowners— great communication and clear instructions for check in/ out. Home was even nicer in person. Great layout with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and an awesome outdoor area. Will return and recommend in the future!

The house was very nice, the outside was beautiful and very spacious, we enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows.... I will definitely go back....

Neighbors were very friendly! House was amazing!! Communication with host was great!! Only issue we had was this house was not accessible like we thought! My husband is paralyzed from waist down, seeing ramp and reading some reviews we knew we needed this place! Ramp is so steep he couldn’t wheel up it alone, he couldn’t fit in bedroom doorway, and no way was he fitting in the bathroom!! So if you are getting this place for wheelchair access, don’t! Unless you or the person isn’t in a wheelchair 24/7! That’s our only issue!!! House was in a great spot and was very clean and homey!!! We would definitely stay here again if my husband could fit the in doorways!

Everything was great from the property itself and the owner. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.

We will definitely be booking again

The outside ramp was great for my 85 year old mother-in-law that uses a walker, but the inside wasn’t designed for the handicapped. The furniture was uncomfortable and the bathroom cramped. The property was very clean and well decorated. However there was no storage area for the food or supplies we brought that didn’t require the refrigerator. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable, but don’t plan on sleeping on the futon couches. They were extremely uncomfortable and too short for an adult. The outside deck area was very nice and has plenty of room for eating and grilling. So, parts of the property were nice, but I wouldn’t stay there again if you have someone that is handicapped.

This was our first beach vacation with my family, and this house was absolutely perfect. Quiet area, pretty much all the cooking supplies you could need, volleyball court, and much more. When we arrived, they were still cleaning from the people before, and I completely understood why. When staying here, give it the respect it deserves and don't trash it, she obviously put a lot of love into this place.

Everything about this property was amazing, it had everything we could of possibly needed. Located in a very nice community with a pool, store and two restaurants. The beach access was very close and not crowded! Our two teenagers loved it!

The house was clean and mostly comfortable. The beds were very nice. The couches could use some upgrading. We would stay there again.

We had a very wonderful experience staying at Sea Isle Beach House. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. The house is located only a few blocks from the ocean wit easy access to the beach. There was ample parking and great security features such as the outdoor cameras with motions lights. All the things we needed to enjoy our stay were included ... from pots, pans,and dishes, soft towels, comfy clean beds, the adorable coffee bar for that morning caffeine fix,3 televisions and internet ,and even extra beach toys and boogie boards . My kids did not want to leave!! I would recommend Sea Isle to anyone looking for that relaxing beachy feel while staying in Galveston.
