We loved Big Bertha! We would totally stay here again, great place when you have a teen and an infant. Large, beautiful and clean windows with great views of the trees, right around the corner from town. Thank you so much for having us!!

We loved our stay at Big Berthas Place! From the beautiful decor to the comfortable bedding to the fun game room which our grandsons loved to the stunning out door surroundings to the bottle of wine left to every thing clearly marked and convenience to town it was a perfect stay!

Everything went smoothly and we were very happy staying at Big Bertha’s. We enjoyed being at the property and it was close to the activities we were in town for.

We enjoyed our stay at Big Bertha's yes we did! We will love to stay there again for a family get-together. We hope that others enjoy their stay as much as we did. The only thing that we didn't get to do was go in the hot tub it was a bit chilly however when we come back we would love to stay when it's a little bit warmer outside. My daughter loved the place and loved all the food that her mom made there. Kelsey did have one request that she would love for you to paint the door red.

Big Bertha's was perfect for our 3 generations. Comfortable, well supplied and a super fenced yard. Be aware of the stairs up to the main floor. Our only suggestions: put a baby gate at the top of the spiral staircase and REPLACE THE ADULT BEDS. We loved this place but will not go back if the beds are not replaced.

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Bertha's cabin. The home is well-appointed and very comfortable. We loved sitting out on the deck with a fire, grilling and using the hot tub. The driveway is a little tricky, but most are in that area. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent the last 3 days here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It suited our needs very well. We were staying with our son and his family (including almost 2 yr old Zoe). There are two levels. My wife and I stayed downstairs. The two upstairs bedrooms were perfect for Zoe and her parents. This house has great indoor and outdoor living areas. Plenty of room to spread out and to enjoy different times of day in the various settings. House is well equipped and has lots of helpful instructions posted. The negatives were few and all related to kitchen equipment. None of the knives are sharp and there is no sharpener. The can opener needs to be replaced. There was no medium sized saucepan. Fairly minor inconveniences, but I am listing them here because I doubt the owners are aware of these things and they can be easily remedied. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Big Bertha was the perfect spot for my almost two week vacation. The first half of my trip was with my two adult kids and a couple of friends of my daughter to celebrate her birthday and and have some family time. The place worked very well for this; plenty of space to spread out but also nice communal areas. After the family left; I hosted three of my lady friends for the next five days. Perfect again for the amount of people. We had a wonderful time using the hot tub, making food and of course lots of laughter and wine form the local wineries. My daughters small dog was my only companion for the whole trip and he loved the place, especially the squirrels in the trees and the sun lounging on the deck.

This is a nice house with lots of history. The driveway is steep, but easy to use and not a problem. It was a little hard to find, we drove by it twice, but once we found it, the rest was simple. The house was well equipped, clean and warm. It was a good location to explore the coast and small towns around the area. We had a wonderful time.

Big Bertha’s was awesome. We celebrated our family Christmas there. The house was well appointed for cooking, very clean and stylishly decorated. Big Bertha’s exceeded our expectations and made for a fantastic holiday celebration.

We rented Big Bertha's for a girl's weekend away with 6 women. Big Bertha's was conveniently located to wineries and Healdsburg, and right outside of the town of Guerneville. The house was super cute and fun, with plenty of room for the 6 of us with all the amenities we could hope for. It's in the trees, so feels remote, but restaurants and other attractions are a short drive away. We would rent this again, we loved it.

We were looking for a place to hunker down and pass the New Year quietly and Big Bertha's very much fit the bill. The dogs were happy, the people were happy, the kitchen, dining and living areas were warm and comfortable and the hot tub hot! Any questions? Some observations, though. Don't choose Big Bertha's if you hate stairs. The stairway to the front entrance intimidated even our dogs and the member of our party with the bad foot had to take it very slow. And the interior stairway resembles more a fireman's pole than a real staircase...... Town is a scenic twenty minute walk away but beware of walking along the highway. Cars zoom around the two major curves you'll pass and it can be scary. But we're picking nits here. Everything else about this place rocked!

This home was everything we hoped it would be and more! Clean and comfortable, it suited our family perfectly. The downstairs area was ideal for our son and daughter in law, and the upstairs just right for ourselves and our other son. It was cozy without being cramped. When you look out the windows, you see trees! When you open the doors or windows, you smell the forest! It was like being a millions miles away but close enough to town to not be totally isolated. We did need to call the owners for one thing and they responded immediately. Would definitely recommend to any family or even 2 couples to share.

Had friends visiting from out of town who had never been to Wine Country or the Pacific Coast before. They also had a small child with them so the configuration of the house was perfect for us. They stayed in the downstairs area and had a bedroom, separate entrance and bathroom to themselves and a play area/game room space for playing quietly with the baby when she was fussy or awake at 5am. The rest of us slept upstairs on the main floor and we could hang out and play boardgames into the wee hours of the morning while the weary parents and baby could sleep peacefully downstairs. Everything was impeccably clean and in good repair. The house was extremely well labeled and had many thoughtful items like board games, slippers for walking out to the hot tub, spices in the kitchen, a coffeemaker and an electric kettle for tea, and laundry detergent packs. The beds were comfortable and the dining room table was the perfect size for our group. Having the baby, we appreciated having the pack'n play and high chair onsite so we didn't have to bring one with us. Also with the baby gates on the top of the stairs, it was toddler-friendly. The staff at Russian River Vacation Homes were uniformly pleasant, friendly and professional. They made sure we had all the information we needed and made the process of picking up the keys and returning them extremely easy with their lockbox system. My friends raved about the place and said it was the highlight of their trip!

I've stayed at a previous Russian River Vacation Rental property to spend time with my two teenage kids. This time my son said "Dad, each time it gets better and better..." We had a great four night stay. We spent a couple days exploring the nearby beaches in Jenner and those along the Russian River. But our favorite place was Big Bertha's. It was impeccably clean and extraordinarily decorated. My kids begged me to buy the place straight away! We loved the spa, fire pit, and playing tether ball. And before bed we enjoyed watching a Netflix movie. I can't recommend RRVR (and specifically Big Bertha's) more highly. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
