Everything we hoped for and more ideal for party of 6

Cosy appt, nice kitchen/bar, spacious rooms and good quality interior. Gorgeous view on MtBlanc and Aguille du Midi, 5min walk centre village/bus stop and 10min up-hill to Brevent station. I do recommend this appt for a great week.

We stayed in this beautiful apartment for a week during the UTMB trail running event. It was a short walk to everything we needed - the finish line, race checkin, UTMB Expo, sports stores, restaurants, and buses (for the races that have a bus to the starting line). The view of Mont Blanc from the balcony is spectacular. We had coffee and wine out there most days. The decor has a relaxing chalet feel with comfortable furniture and beds, and lots of wood, art and even cowbells. There is a dining table and a bar with seating around the sides. It's a perfect place to stay with one or two other couples. Everyone has a large room of their own and there is a nice communal area to gather for conversations and meals. The kitchen and the rest of the apartment were very well equipped. We had plenty of dishes, glasses and pots, and we even could have made raclette or fondue! The owner had thoughtfully put champagne and beer in the fridge for us. We had a washer, dryer and drying rack. Laundry soap was provided, which made things easier for us since we didn't have to buy a large package. We were grateful that linens and towels were included. There were many other items in the apartment that we didn't use but it was nice that the owner had thought so much about things that a guest might enjoy during their stay. We opened windows at cooler times of the day to create a breeze since there is no air conditioning, which is common in Chamonix. We kept the skylight shades mostly closed during the sunny part of the day and found the apartment quite comfortable. The stairs to the 2nd floor require some caution and wouldn't be appropriate for people with mobility issues or very young children. Our 4-year-old visitor had no trouble after a little practice. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return to this apartment when we come back to Chamonix some day!

Ayant séjourné en août 2015 pour participer a l UTMB, cette location est juste parfaite rien a redire !! J y retournerai sans hésiter !!

We had a fabulous week in Chamonix. Great snow, great skiing, great nightlife and this great Apartment. The Apartment is equipped with everything you need for your comfort and convenience. We had every breakfast and evening meal there. The decor is charming and there is plenty of space for 6 people to relax in the evening. The bedrooms were a good size for the Alps with comfortable beds. The bathrooms appeared newly fitted and very clean. In fact the whole Apartment was spotless! The location is great too. A few minutes walk to the town centre and all that offers. The bus stop for access to the slopes is even closer! Despite being so close to the centre of town, the apartment is far enough away to be quiet at night. Thierry (Host) and Sylvie (Local Contact) were very helpful in the run up to and during our holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending this La Petite Savoyade for a holiday in Chamonix.

Nous avons beaucoup voyagé mais c'est la première fois où nous avons ressenti, qu'au delà de louer, Mr et Mme Thierry BABEY avaient apporté beaucoup d'attentions et de soins pour que les locataires se sentent vraiment bien pendant leur séjour. Outre l’équipement parfait de l'appartement, tout a été pensé jusqu'à l'armoire de secours de pharmacie, les chaussons d'invités , les films , les produits de première nécessités .... Par ailleurs , Mr et Mme Thierry BABEY sont très à l'écoute et disponibles. l'appartement est parfaitement situé, à 5 mn de toutes les commodités et dans un environnement paisible . Seul regret: un petit balcon qui n'est pas orienté SUD et qui donne sur le majestic et un autre bâtiment moins joli . Mais c'est un minuscule bémol par rapport au bonheur éprouvé pendant cette semaine grâce aux propriétaires et Sylvie qui nous accueille. merci du fond du coeur et bonne année 2019!

We had a great time staying at La Petite Savoyarde. Mr Babey kindly gave us a bottle of champagne and some beer which was much appreciated. The views from the balcony were amazing and as the roof overhangs it we could even enjoy going out there even when it rained. (It was mostly warm and sunny with occasional thunderstorms in the afternoons and nights).The stairs to the mezzanine floor were very steep and took some getting used to. It was a bit too hot on the mezzanine floor. There was mixed communication as to whether it was okay to open the velux windows, the one in the lounge wouldn't open, the one in the top bedroom did (we didn't try the one in the mezzanine lounge - this had great views of Aguille du Midi.) We had fun using the raclette set for one meal and also using the fondue set. We got a 9 day lift pass covering most of our stay - the longer duration you get the better the value. We enjoyed glacier walking and climbing with Peak Powder and also paragliding with the company based near the bottom of Plan Praz lift. Mr Babey and Sylvie were welcoming and very accommodating regarding our odd duration of stay (Monday to Friday) and our times of arriving/ leaving. We recommend this lovely accommodation which is in a great location.

We stayed here for UTMB week. Ideally situated, five minutes walk from start and town centre. Just far enough that the cheering from race finishers didn't keep you up at night. Apartment had all amenities you needed. A very high standard of furnishings and beautiful views of mont blanc. Highly recommend.

Brilliant location, very quiet yet so close to the town centre. Super views from balcony. Good friendly communication prior to holiday. We've stayed in Chamonix a few times and this was the best accommodation so far!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à "la petite savoyarde". L'appartement est idéalement placé : au centre de Chamonix, parfait pour nos ados, mais au calme. Il est chaleureux et convivial avec son bar, très bien équipé et d'une propreté irréprochable. Les petites attentions à l'arrivée ont été grandement appréciées !

The apartment is so close to town which was really convenient. Everything that you could want or need was available in the apartment. It was very comfortable and very well decorated. We loved it!

L'appartement est très bien situé, près des commerces et des pistes de ski tout en étant en retrait; pas de bruit, et pour certains c'est très appréciable. Location très bien arrangée, déco faite de matériel de montagne; l'ensemble du logement est très fonctionnel tout en gardant son esthétique. IL est, de plus, très propre! Merci aux propriétaires de nous permettre d'en profiter.

Our stay could not have been better. The apartment is impeccably done, very clean, and very authentic to the area. Thierry (the owner) was very helpful to us before the stay, and was in constant communication day of arrival -- even making us a dinner reservation. Every detail was considered in the layout of the apartment, and it was fully equipped for cooking. And what a charming place! It is a quiet location, yet a 5 minute walk from the heart of town. We'll be back again soon!

Wir waren überrascht eine so schöne Ferienwohnung anzutreffen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, im Stadtzentrum, wunderbarer Blick auf die Berge, direkter Blick auf den Mont Blanc vom Wohnzimmer und vom Balkon, kurze Wege zum Einkaufen, zur Bushaltestelle, zur Liftstation genügend Parkplatz für 3 Autos, sehr gute Beschreibung für die Anfahrt, viele Informationen vor Anreisebeginn, Empfang mit Champagner, nicht zu vergessen den großzügigen Biervorrat im Kühlschrank. Ein weiteres Plus: kostenfreie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, günstige 6-Tage-Liftkarte und Zahnradbahnen, freundliche deutschsprechende Tourismus-Mitarbeiterin(Bernadette)
