Wonderful

This was our third stay at the cottage with our two dogs who love being there! The cottage was recently updated with new flooring and is even more comfortable and cozy. The location by the beach is fantastic and has easy access to downtown Cayucos, restaurants and a park. The outdoor shower works great for cleaning the dogs. We used the kitchen this time and plan to do so again on our next visit. The excellent heater makes it comfortable and cozy for winter nights at the coast. We highly recommend this cottage with or without your dog!

We had a lovely stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, spacious for two people, and was mere blocks from the beach. There were guests in the main house but we were never disturbed by them whatsoever. Our host, Carol, was very responsive and the entry and exit instructions were very easy to follow. I would stay here again, definitely.

We had a great stay at the cottage and Carol was very responsive. The cottage is walking distance to several beach access points which was very convenient. Its a nice quiet neighborhood for a beach getaway.

This charming cottage was located in a very safe, quiet, residential neighborhood with easy access to the beach, whether driving or walking. It was just about 2 blocks or so to the main street through Cayucos, rendering it easy to locate the nearby grocery store, and just little further were several dining options and a variety of other shops as well. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated, and it was fun "living like a local" while I was there. I highly recommend this cottage and will certainly hope it's available the next time in the area. Oh, and the owner was easily contacted if need be as well.

Relaxing.

Very clean and perfect for only two people. I think it is a space that really depends on who stays at the big house and luckily we had good people who were quiet and good with their dogs. Beach access was perfect for us since we are 73 year olds. Sea Shanty Restaurant was the best of all restaurants (dog friendly) from Cayucos to Pismo. We had a great time.

located in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to the beach, bike path and all the local attractions. easy to get to, easy parking, easy freeway access. nice little cottage setup that lets you make a simple meal, and enjoy some quiet time.

The cottage was super clean and quiet even with guests in the main house. Basic necessities in place for cooking but additional coffee K-cup, including decaf, would be a welcomed amenity. We loved how close the cottage was to the beach. We parked our car and walked everywhere in Cayucos! Quiet neighborhood and the highlight of our trip was seeing a whale just offshore of the pier!! Will return and consider the main house when we travel with our family.

Carol and her cottage are both simply lovely! The location is ideal for both privacy and walkability! Everything about my stay and this property was perfect! I highly recommend this serene cottage by the sea!

We have booked this cute little cottage 3 times in the last few years. We love how well taken care of if is. It’s close to the beach and just a very relaxing place to hang out. It’s perfect for one or two people, and very dog friendly.

Nice quiet location.

The cottage was more than described. Less than a block from the beach, you woke and went to sleep with the sound of the Pacific in your ear. The time of year, mid May, was perfect as the town (a classic beach town which comes alive on the weekends and is otherwise quiet, save the summer when I suspect the houses fill with short term renters) was not busy. The cottage was well stocked for all two people needed for a beach stay. Carol is very attentive to her guests needs and is just a contact away if something is not quite right. She is quick with a timely suggestion, otherwise she is the perfect hostess. The location is great as you are close to activity if you want it, but staying in the midst of tranquility. There are great beaches, restaurants and shops to explore in the many surrounding towns and cities or you can take that book you have been meaning to tackle and listen to the ocean. You can only go as far as Ragged Point on Route 1 N, but it is a beautiful drive and the cafe at the Point is well worth the drive; the view from the property is quite stunning as well. As a native son of CA., returning for a vacation, I could not have asked for more. Thank you Carol, I can not recommend the cottage strongly enough.

Very nice very Beachy decorations everything is new and clean and in working order. It has a kuerig coffee machine also which is what I prefer for making coffee. Very close to beach access also. Wouldn’t mind doing this again next year

We were in town for a wedding weekend and Carol's Cottage provided us just enough space and comfort for our quick trip. We didn't get the chance to venture to the beach but it looked very close as described. Good amount of counter space for getting ready and great bathroom lighting.

2nd time staying at this lovely little cottage. This little cottage is clean, cute and cozy. Beach is just a short stroll away in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very quaint and comfortable cottage in Cayucos. It is close to both the beach and the restaurants. If you are hoping to share a nice getaway with someone special, this is a great place to stay!

We stayed at the cottage for four nights. No problems. The place was very clean, and exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen is tiny, but seriously useable. and well-stocked with utensils/pots/ etc. The bathroom had enough space for all our stuff (we are so old and need so many meds!). Bed comfortable. Big plus- lights on both sides of the bed - because we are bedtime readers!

Very nice to have a well stocked kitchen, and a great place to stay with small dogs. Very close walk to the beach. Great house heater and TV/channels. Very nice, clean and quiet. The Host was super easy to contact for questions.and was very helpful every step of the way. I have absolutely no complaints! A very fair reasonable price as well. This was our second time visiting. here, and we''ll be back asap for another visit!

This was our second stay at this charming cottage. Close to beach, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, large tv. Very clean with a personal touch. Quiet neighborhood. Plan to return in the future.

This accommodation is very nice, clean and modern Ideal for pets as the property is fully fenced in. Owner is very accommodating and readily accessible via text and email. Highly recommend.

Great 1 bedroom cottage. Behind bigger home. Has its own parking spot. Easy access to highway 1 but not noisy. Beach access less than 1 block away. Great neighborhood. Kitchen equipped for decent vacation cooking. Clean and pleasant. A great place for a great time.

Terrific location with easy access to the beach. The little cottage is a half block from a beach access. It is small but cozy with all that you need to for a comfortable stay. From this VRBO you can walk to Cayucos restaurants and you are just a 5 minute drive to Morrow Bay. We enjoyed our time.

Location is perfect just walk down the street to stairs that goes down to the beach. Cottage is clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything is provided but your food and drinks. Shopping is close by and several restaurants. Also close to Morro Bay. Manager is available by phone if any problems should arise. Always friendly and helpful. This is just the place to come and relax. This has become our home away from home when we need a break.

We vacationed at this cute little cottage a couple of years ago and we enjoyed it so much we had to go back and stay longer. Its just right for a couple and their dogs. Just a short walk to the beach, the location is great! We look forward to vacationing there again. We would highly recommend this very affordable and well maintained property.

Just a few maintance issues with the lights needing attention but really enjoyed or stay.

I enjoyed my stay in this one bedroom standalone house. The place is clean and the owner is very responsive to any concerns. My dog and I walked to the nearby beach. The kitchenette is fully equipped and the toaster oven, microwave, and garbage disposal are in good working order. There is no dishwasher which is typical of these older beach properties. The neighborhood was very quiet, except for Saturday night which is expected.. The bed is very comfortable; I slept like a baby. I would stay here again.
