The floor dirty, dishes had to be scrubbed you could not cook with them. Pots and pans. Although they did say bring toilet paper I do feel for the price we paid they could at least provide a new full roll for each bathroom. The place was over ran with ants. Got all in the suit cases. I did call maintenance and they offer to come spray. I did turn down the spray as did not want to smell it the rest of the time. The appliances were so bad it was a struggle to use and cook with them. If I was the Real Estate company I would consider not listing this house. We stayed with Garden City Realty last year and they have always been great with their listing. They should consider finding another cleaning service. The only other issue if you have a family with young children you would not want to stay there. With the pier so close the music is so loud you could hear it in the house and with and access parking to the beach right next to the house very noisy. If you are partiers this is the place as i'm sure you will not cook or care for the noise.

Multiple steep stairs into and within the unit but this is common for an ocean front beach house. If you have physical issues it will be a challenge for you. As I said at the start we would stay there again.

Walk to pier, grocery, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. New deck is nice. Recently received new mattresses for the bunk rooms, but could use new mattresses for all beds.

Was really disappointed to not hear from the office after the plumbing issue to make sure we were satisfied. Not sure if we will rent from that rental company again.

We had two big issues with the rental that could be easily fixed.

1. A couple of the mattresses were TERRIBLE! One had a dip that was so big in the middle a person on the edge would literally roll into that middle dip.
2. The internet was really bad. It was super slow and even unusable at times.

The view and location of the house was great! Garden City Beach is a cute little town with friendly locals. We had plenty of room. The house was not clean and we spent 4 hours when we got there to get it clean enough for us to stay. The kitchen was extremely disorganized. All of the dishes and silverware had to be run through the dishwasher. We are very thankful that we brought our own linens, pillows, and blankets.

This property was as advertised. I had no issues with cleanliness, not having enough kitchen items, or any maintenance issues, etc. Other than Hurricane ISAIAS, we had a perfect time! Management kept us up to date with the weather, offered parking in another location in the event of flooding. (Depending on the vehicle, you easily fit 3 comfortably.) We didn't stray much from our home due to covid but the location was great. Very short distance to walmart for groceries, and a tiny grocery store in walking distance if we forgot something. Theres an arcade for the kids, a place grab a bite to eat, you can rent a golf cart right around the corner. The pier is very close if you're interested in a taste of the nightlife. The back deck and having a beach in your backyard are the best parts! I would rent this property every year!!

The pictures are pretty spot on. There were no linens or towels in the whole house, I guess that is user error but I do not remember seeing an option while booking. Was kind of tough to find linens for a whole house at a last second notice.
