This house was amazing. Lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is stocked well with everything you may need. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. We even watched the starlink satellite train in the sky, two nights while here. That was pretty amazing to see! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The pool table was useful for our teenage son as well as the lower level where he had his own space along with a Foosball table and workout room. There is a hot tub on the lower deck. We even got to see three deer in the yard. The neighborhood is gated and very quiet. I loved the stream running beside the house. Jerry and Kristen are very easy to reach if you have questions. I would highly recommend this as your next vacation house.

Genuinely great house. Spectacular views of the clouds sifting through the trees in the valley below. Loads of space to hang out in groups or all together. I will say though, if you want the views... you gotta get up the mountain! The roads are fully paved and in perfect condition. Just make sure you're driving something with a decent engine and good tire thread.

Beautiful place

We come to Beech Mountain every year and this year did not disappoint. The house was amazing and had everything you could possibly need and then some. Would highly recommend!

This was an amazing place to stay. The host was very responsive to any questions that came up. There were also a great supply of supplies to deal with the winter storm that rolled in. This allowed us to really enjoy our time on the slopes. This was a great home to enjoy Christmas with the family.

My family and I have been staying in Beech Mountain for the last 20 plus years. This home has to rank at the top. The home is very well kept up and very well stocked with everything you need. The views off the back patio are incredible. I was able to speak with the owner anytime I had a question, he was very quick to respond. I highly recommend this rental Jack

Hi- this is a nice house. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room and the beds are comfortable. Nice big TV with great aps to watch shows. Great place to unwind after skiing. A few things to note… Be prepared for the windy roads that you have to drive every time you go to the property but if you want views that’s the price you pay. We are not used to it so we would get car sick every time including the driver. Also I would not say that this house sleeps 8 people comfortably. There are two queen size beds upstairs and a king bed on the main floor. That would accommodate 6 maybe 7 if you want to sleep 3 people in the king size bed. There is a day bed on the bottom floor but there is no central heat and it was freezing downstairs. There is a fake fireplace that is used for a heater in the room but the entire bottom level gets so cold. The jacuzzi was nice. Jerry the owner is nice and responsive. On a side note if you are coming to ski or board DO NOT go to Beech Mountain just read their reviews on yelp and you will see why. Sugar mountain is so much nicer. Trust me!

The house is large with plenty of bedrooms. Has all the amenities for a house rental, kitchen , ability to laundry etc. Delivers the big Mountain View’s that everyone wants for that location. Very nice and the owner is very accommodating.

The communication on the front end was clear and concise and the home was gorgeous, just as shown online. We would happily book again.

We booked at the last minute and Jerry went out of his way to have the house cleaned so we could stay. We checked in on Valentine's Day and kids loved finding the heart candies and chocolates left for us. The view from Cloud Nine was amazing, and if it had been warmer we would have spent time out on the large deck. We enjoyed watching the sun come up each morning over the mountains. Breathtaking. The house is about a 5 minute drive from Beech Mountain, making it very convenient for skiing. The circle drive made it easy to get in and out of the property. Paved and cleared roads, right up to the front door. The mudroom and garage made storing ski and snow gear easy. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfy, and the house was clean. There was plenty of room for our family of six to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to cook basic meals. (maybe add a few more hot pads/dinner plates). We enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day and the kids had fun playing pool and foosball. Thank you!

Everything was perfect. There were 8-adults in my party. The house was very comfortable and more than enough room. Used all the amenities; foosball, pool table and spa. Ski resort was a 10-minute drive.. You can actually walk to a general store just 10-minutes up the mountain. Everyone in Banner Elk was so welcoming. It snowed while we were there so the scenery was awesome. We got some post card pics for sure. Jerry even offered to have a plow come by to clear the driveway. However, I enjoyed being outside so I shoveled it myself. All the neighbors we met on our walks were very cordial. We saw many deer each day and were able to feed them apples. We bought 2-bags of apples for them during our stay. My family knows I am a very picky when it comes to getting or having things just right. Well the home was very clean and spacious so I was extremely satisfied. When you choose a vacation home online you hope it meets the hype you read. This house was spot on and I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Jerry for your gracios hospitality.

This property is exactly like it is described and pictured in the listing. It met all of my expectations and exceeded the expectations of the rest of my family members (because I didn’t show them any pictures before we arrived). This home had more than everything we needed. Plus, gorgeous mountain views and close to skiing. We had a long drive from our home to the rental property, so it was after dark when we arrived. The area had enjoyed a snow storm the previous day, so snow blanketed everything. We were a little nervous about driving down the driveway, but the owners provide snow shovels and rock salt. Shoveling snow was a new experience for my family! Once we cleared the driveway, we were able to settle in. Mr. Noel was very responsive to my text messages during our stay and answered all my questions about how to deal with the snow. Where we’re from, life stops when it snows. But the community in Banner Elk does a fantastic job of keeping the roads cleared of snow and ice. We didn’t have any issues driving around the area. There was a bouquet of fresh white roses on the table for us to enjoy during our stay. I don’t know if fresh flowers are usually provided by the owner or if they were left from the previous occupants, but I appreciated them either way. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. There was a Keurig AND a coffee pot. The coffee pot was missing a filter basket, but Mr. Noel had ordered a new pot to arrive in time for us to use. The Keurig was fine, but nothing beats a pot of coffee, so I really appreciated that. It snowed during our stay. And the wind chill dropped to -12F! But the home was warm and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, too. Master bathroom is so nice! After several hours of skiing, it was wonderful to come home to the jetted tub. We really enjoyed the views. I spent a lot of time just staring out the windows - I didn’t miss a sunrise or sunset. And a family of deer walked through the yard twice a day. It was just lovely! When we weren’t skiing, we were playing games at the big table or watching movies. The kitchen/dining/living area is open, but so very cozy. The location is perfect if you’re interested in skiing and hiking. The ski area is just up the road, which includes a general store and several restaurants. I’m so pleased that I decided to book this property. We made some great memories. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful vacation. The property was just as pictured if not better. It had all the amenities we wanted/needed. Clean, comfortable & cozy. And the views were spectacular.
