I booked last minute and the house suited our needs. The area was perfect.

We stayed just off-season (late June), and Barnegat Light was delightful, not many people on the beach or on the street, quiet and relaxing, totally unlike the LBI we were more familiar with. The house was perfect, just what we were looking for. A block from the beach, nice little deck in the front and a bigger one in the back with a grill, clean and tidy. Will definitely return!

Very convenient location — close to ocean, bay, Viking Village, 18th St. Cafe, and lighthouse and only minutes to Harvey Cedars and Surf City. A true low-key shore experience in beautiful Barnegat Light. Owner is very communicative and responsive. Dwelling is simple and functional.

We had a great family vacation at Ken’s house in Barnegat Light. The location was perfect...we loved being able to walk to the beach everyday. The house was cute and the kitchen was fully equipped. We took full advantage of the back patio and loved the outdoor shower. Our only constructive feedback is that some of the fans and pieces of furniture had seen better days and could use updating. Overall, we were happy with our stay and thought Ken was a very nice and responsive owner.

Great house in the perfect location. The house had all we (family of 4, including 2 teenagers) needed. Well-equipped kitchen, decks with BBQ, large DR table, good sized bedrooms, and nice outdoor shower. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into what guests need, and they’ve supplied most of it. We felt like the owners were there if we needed them, but otherwise stayed out of the way. Very clean property with cute decor. Obviously the proximity to the beach was the best part of all. Thanks for a great, relaxing vacation!

This house worked out great for us. It's simple and cozy, but had what we needed and the pictures and description were accurate. It was easy to check-in, check-out, and communicate with the host. We would stay again.

We stayed here for two weeks in August. Ken is a great owner. Very friendly and responsive. The house is on a quiet street and a short one block walk to the beach. It is convenient to Viking Village and the Lighthouse. The home is clean and everything works fine. There are 4 bicycles for you to use but you may chose to bring you own. The house is appropriately priced. If you want bigger and newer, you are going to pay more. If you are looking for a house that covers what you need when you stay at the beach at Barnegat Light then you should be very happy here.

For those who know Barnegat Light, this house is perfectly located for walking to Viking Village, How You Brewin’ coffee shop, Off the Hook seafood takeout; White’s Market; Cassidy’s Seafood; Kubel’s restaurant; Daymark restaurant; Poppy’s Ice Cream, Dairy Queen; and the 18th Street Cafe restaurant is right next door. A lovely walk through the rolling dunes takes you to the great beach on this street. The house was clean and the kitchen was about as well equipped as I’ve ever seen in a rental (an egg poacher is not usually found in a shore rental!). The front and rear decks are terrific for relaxing, grilling, and eating. The outdoor shower, a must at the shore, is great. Overall, a very nice shore rental. I would recommend this place to others, and it’s a great value for the price.

We had the pleasure of spending the 4th of July week . The home was clean, airy and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the main living area was a great place for all to gather. We especially enjoyed using the two porches each night. We loved being in quiet Barnegat Light and found we were able to easily get what odds and ends we may have forgotten at the little grocery store 2 blocks away. Thank you for a lovely week, we will be back!

The place was nice, clean and near a beautiful beach.

This was our first visit to Barnegat Light after vacationing on LBI for the past 20 years. We loved the house and how we were on the top floor with two decks to lounge on after a day at the beach. There was plenty of space both inside and out to store all of our stuff. The backyard is great for games, we played bocce ball and can jam after the beach. I loved the bike rack for our bikes and the outside shower (a must on our vacations) was perfect with a nice dressing area. Nice quiet section of the island.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this property. Clean, well equipped and nice peaceful location close to beach.

We enjoyed our week in Barnegat Light!

We had a wonderful vacation at this home away from home. We traveled with another couple and our adult son; it was the perfect size for us. The non-believers about how refreshing the well set-up outdoor shower would be were soon taking all their showers there! The well appointed kitchen allowed us to easily entertain friends for brunch and a family birthday celebration. Catching the sunrise was easy being so close to the beautiful beach and sunsets were just a block in the other direction. Being September it was very quiet but with the house set back from the street I think that would be the case even in the summer months. Furniture was comfortable which isn't always true. We would love to rent another time when we return to LBI! Being one flight up was great for breezes and we all did fine with the stairs.
