We loved everything about the Villa from the location to the outdoor pool! The villa style layout with courtyards and plants and fountain are especially nice.

We really enjoyed our time in Playa Langosta. It had been several years since we’d visited and there were several new restaurants within walking distance of the house and of course the proximity to the beach is wonderful for morning walks and sunset watching. The house was perfect for our family.

Beautiful location excellent and comfortable accommodation that very comfortably sleeps 6. Great pool to cool off after a hot day house is fully equipped for cooking and just living. Everything is there for a fun comfortable air-conditioned stay two minutes from the Pacific. Perfect!!

I felt like I was able to catch up on 3 weeks worth of sleep. Very peaceful. Bring all your toiletries as they only provide a bar of soap.

I don't like downgrading a place because of things that aren't totally it's fault or when they are darn responsive to fix what they can. That being said, I also feel if I would have read a couple of these things in a review I would have been more informed as to whether I wanted to book this place or not. First the good: great having 3 big bedrooms for married couple with two teens. We all had our own space and bathroom (and an extra one in hall). Kitchen had all basic equipment stuffs that we wanted as travelers. And washer/dryer is always a huge help when we stayed 10 days. And (as you'll read) we had some issues with place, the staff was very responsive - even late on a Saturday. That being said: everything is darn just ok. The couch and two of the three mattresses were very hard. The couch was also pretty dusty (over-sensitive allergy nose here). There weren't any spices or anything like that to cook with. Not even a welcoming bottle of water. And most surprising, not really any soap/shampoo (although there was laundry soap). A few teeny soap bars for family of 4 staying for 10 days (although there is a market easy walking distance). The pool (which helped sell us) got darn dirty (leaves; bird poop) fairly quickly and became less of a selling point by the time we left. The other bad stuff perhaps was a result of "bad day." We got there, the water didn't work. We called fairly late on a Saturday and they said "can we come tomorrow." We said, no because we had 4 stinky/thirsty/bathroom needing folks. Big Plus: they came pretty quickly and fixed issue easily. Also helped show us how to use TV and promised to comeback to get WIFI better. Other down sides: wifi never worked well; mostly worked in main bedroom where router is and bedroom above. Place is further from town that we expected (perhaps our fault, but still to me part of rating). After two days, we ended up renting golf cart ($60/day) to reduce the 20 minute or so walk to the city area (not bad once a day, but when you want to shower after beach or take a rest or whatever and find yourself going back and forth, it's a bit far). Overall, I might book place again. I'd just be aware of distance to city and budget for a golf cart, know that it's not a luxury rental and remind myself issues come up. In the end, they were very responsive to issues and even refunded us a small amount to compensate. So I think 4 stars is fair. Might go 4.25 if there was such a thing.
