Staff member was very accommodating when we arrived early to drop off luggage. Lovely friendly staff

Room was basic and needs brightening up but other rooms seemed more pleasant. But we were thankful to staff for getting the room for us when we arrived early.

Clean and comfortable. Nice bar with Sky TV.

Too far to walk to decent pubs and restaurants.

Managed to get what looked like a refurbished room very comfy . Basic but I was only there to close my eyes then away in the morning . Value for money

Only down side was the smell in the halls I don’t know what it was . Maybe because it was just an old building but can see refurbs are in place so maybe get to that after the rooms :) Checkout was at 11 but at 10.15 two girls walked in on me in my pants saying they were here to clean 😂 Don’t let this out you off booking it’s comfy and staff freindly and helpfull

Nothing I'm just glad hotel refunded me today.

I didn't like anything. Bars on windows, dirty room hairs on bed , very worn out room , 1 towel which wasn't even a towel for two , boiling hot room, dangerous loose light fittings on wall To be honest how anyone can say it's nice is beyond me room 11 should be mothballed in sorry I walked out in 5 minutes and went 60 miles home!!

Quiet location and excellent bar and facilities.

No lift to the first floor, only a stairlift.

staff were welcoming and helpful. The upgraded room I was moved to after complaining, was nice.

the old rooms and the public areas/corridors are very tired and dirty. I used a trail of crisp crumbs to find my way to and from my room - they were there when I arrived and still there when I checked out!!

carpets needed changing in corridors, all a bit dated. Could smell ‘weed’ down the corridor. No notice that U21s were not allowed in the bar after 8pm - our family consisted of two sons of 18yrs and 21yrs and we planned to drink at the bar
