We loved our stay in Merida. Great info was provided about local sights and restaurants. Easy parking around the unit. Well appointed unit and spaces. Fans and A/C worked well in the heat. Walking to the center would have been possible, but we did have an 80 year old guest with us, so we drove most of the time.

Our one month stay at Casa Skylarkin exceeded our expectations. The staff was personable, dependable and very efficient. The pictures of the home do not do it justice with its majestic tall ceilings and thoughtful décor. The beds are comfortable and it is very quiet. There is a nice coffee place and another great breakfast and sandwich place 1 block away. The restaurant zone begins after a 15-minute walk. The closest Supermarket is 30-minute walk away and the Local Market,15-minutes. An Uber will take you for more upscale shopping: Walmart, Costco, and our favourite, Select Chedraui. Within a 5-minute walk there are several bus depots where buses will take you to many nearby destinations like Chichen Itza and Progresso beach. Beto the manager, also connected us with a driver that took us to other great destinations. I must add the streets of Merida are very safe! My only complaints are: the cookware in the kitchen is VERY tired and there was no Cable. The TV in the main bedroom is not SMART making it useless. The TV in the living room was SMART with the one option to watch Youtube, but the speaker had an annoying crackle if the volume was set any higher than ¼ (though I am sure if I had complained they would have fixed this!). We loved this property. We were a group of 4 single older women exploring Merida and the surrounding area for a week. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable to spend time in. We loved that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom and that there was a wonderful kitchen and seating area for us to gather. We were able to walk to the market, the Plaza Grande and all around the historic center. Any questions we had were answered promptly by Beto on WhatsApp. We’d highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed the location and pool as a perfect place to rest from the busy Merida. Close enough from the center to be able to walk to. We had an issue with one of the airco's but was quickly solved by manager.

The house was even better than the pictures, clean, well appointed, concierge was helpful and attentive. It’s not in the fancy hotel area which we lived but very safe and easily walkable there, and everywhere. I highly recommend this home.

A beautiful, comfortable place. The 4 bedrooms with their own bathrooms and showers were amazing--especially after soaking in the just right pool. Full kitchen, with two refrigerators, was perfect for breakfast to start the day. Plenty of couch space to lounge and read. Inividual air conditioning units in all the rooms was a must have to suit everyones needs. Plenty of light inside. Shaded and cool outside by the pool. Great location--an easy 15 min walk to the center with plenty of shops and restaurants farther north. The free walking tour in the morning from the municipal building was perfect. Loved the food recommendations. Easy to take the cheap bus to Progresso beach--less than 10 min walk to bus station. Merida airport is very comfortable with great food options.

Amazing property. Very clean and very professional staff. Excellent concierge services and recommendations for your stay. Close to Centro, about 6 blocks away from Plaza Grande! 10/10 would stay again!

We enjoyed the fantastic weather! The pool was used often and well maintained. Property management was excellent with recommendations for restaurants, cooking classes etc.

My husband, son, daughter and I had a wonderful time in Casa Skylarkin. It was everything we expected and so much more, our only regret is that we only booked for four days and since there’s so much to do in Merida and the surrounding area, we didn’t get to enjoy the house as much as we’d like to, we’ll just have to come back. The communication with Becca was fantastic, we had an issue with our flight being delayed and arrived late in the evening instead of 2PM which was the arranged time. She patiently waited for us, showed us everything around the house, told us about restaurants, shopping etc.

Our stay at Casa Skylarkin was exceptional! The property was just as pictured and even more spacious in person. As we only stayed in the rooms in the main part of the house, we did peek at the other two rooms across the garden/pool area just to see what they were like. All of the rooms and bathrooms are all tastefully done with a very nice style and have pristine bathrooms and proper plumbing (no surprises!). Our check-in was super late at night due and the Casa Skylarkin team made sure we could self-check in without any problem. Complimentary cervazas awaited us in the fridge which was a welcome sight after a long travel day with lots of delays. The staff had also done some small shopping for us by request so we would be able to have breakfast the next day, a lovely and reasonably priced service indeed! Becca was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had from booking to check-out. Becca also assisted in booking drivers for us as we wanted to visit various locations outside of Merida during our stay. The drivers were polite, timely, and very accommodating. The location of the casa is excellent as my husband and I were able to walk to many areas easily to see the sights. We felt very safe walking in Merida Centro, even at night. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Skylarkin...from their guidebook(you can view it once you book in pdf form), services they offer, comfortable beds, lots of seating, lovely pool area, a large, open kitchen in which to cook, the amazing Moroccan decor...it was a dreamy stay and my husband and I left blissfully rested and refreshed. We loved Casa Skylarkin, it really looks like the photos. The communication with Beto and Becca was excellent through our 8 day stay, and the were extremely accommodating to our early check-in since there were no other occupants leaving that day.

Nice design, quiet, comfortable

There was something magical about Skylarkin. It was very comfortable and charming. The location was good as we were able to walk to restaurants and plazas. The neighborhood itself wasn't upscale, but it felt very safe.

Casa Skylarkin's interior does not disappoint. The home is well appointed, spacious and clean. The unique architectural features create an elegant atmosphere. The hosts are knowledgable, friendly and patient. The area has a bit of an industrial feel but we felt safe walking to and from the house to the Centro. This is the perfect house for an extended family!

My friends and I stayed in this VRBO for a week on a trip to Mérida. It was beautiful, well kept, and had everything we needed. The concierge, Beto, was always very responsive and helpful. 10/10

The place is beautiful and cozy, we have many amenities near. We enjoyed a lot visiting Merida a beautiful city. The place is very convenient to stay in a group, clean and nice.

We were a group of 8 and had plenty of room for all of us. The house was a perfect base for us in Merida! The house was equipped with everything a family needs while traveling. We all had our own bathroom, AC in every room, 5gallon drinking water jugs, multiple sets of keys, washer and dryer!! Would definitely stay here agin. We already miss this house.

I really cant find the words to describe our magnificent experience in Merida. The house is an absolute dream, and the our hosts were more than helpful to make our stay in merida a truly memorable one.
