We had the best family gathering in this beautiful spacious home. They have thought ahead to what it takes to host a large group in a home - bed/bath ensuites w King Beds, bunk room, two dishwashers, two refrigerators, table seating 12, large kitchen with island for the family to gather and cook together, the most fully equipped kitchen we have ever experienced in a large home rental. Plus a beautiful location at the edge of the resort near the National Forest. And ping pong, pool, foosball and bikes. So much fun, food, conversations and memories took place. Then at night the bedrooms and beds were very restful with everyone having their own space to relax. Just perfect!! We would rent it again.

The house was beautiful, and had the perfect configuration for our multiple family members. We had 14 family members staying in the house, and hosted dinners for 22. The kitchen was stocked beyond our expectations with plenty of extras! We loved the locating, being so close to the river. The jacuzzi was a hit, and there was plenty of seating indoors and out. We had a wonderful time, and didn’t want to leave.

This was a lovely home with a well stocked kitchen and linen cupboards. We had a team of 9 individuals, so it was so incredibly nice for almost each person to have their own private bath. This house was very clean and comfortable - worked perfectly for our retreat.

11 of us... all had our own bedroom and bathroom! Lots of room.. never crowded! Loved all sitting at table together!! Beautiful home.. so many bikes to get the perfect one for each! Lots of games! Perfect for our family! Would LOVE to come back!

This house is fantastic! It’s our second time coming with four other families for a ski weekend. There’s enough room for everyone to have privacy and space to all come together for games and meals. It’s on the edge of Sunriver, close to a beautiful trail that leads through the forest to the Deschutes River. The kitchen is super well equipped, there are tons of games and puzzles and the kids love the pool table, ping pong table, bikes and SHARC passes. Hope to return next year!

House was well appointed for 16 people to stay comfortably. We visited mt bachelor most days which was about a 40 minute drive in winter weather. Hot tub was very well maintained. We took out the bikes on a nice weather day which was fun. Anyone with a large group should consider renting this house.

This is the second year in a row that our group (16 of us) has rented the home. We loved it the first year, so we came back!It's clean, roomy and private. We cook a lot , so the kitchen and bar b q were in great working order and kitchen had all we needed. We would highly recommend the house. Also, the people at Sunset Lodging are great, and very helpful.

We had a wonderful winter adventure. With plenty of snow all around, snow forts were built and snow ball fights followed. Mornings spent ice-skating, and afternoons in the pool,and then time in the hottub. The kitchen crew was thankful for the 2 dishwashers! Our only problem was with the dryer, it could only dry 3 or 4 towels at a time.Thank you for the use of this spacious, beautiful home.

Great amount of space for 18 people. Lots of kitchen appliances and dishes. Lots of living and dining room area. A bit spendy, but worth it for me. Plan on staying longer next year. It was nice to be in a fairly secluded area, but was a ways from the village, so you gotta chose your priorities.

We were very pleased with our Christmas Sunriver home.. lots of space, amazing bedrooms and private bathrooms. The kids loved the game room!! Even though there was no snow, there was plenty to do..

We loved this house. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a definite plus. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the open floor plan in the main living area. We also made good use of the game room. This was a family reunion that we come to Sunriver for every 2 years. We definitely will want this house for our next family get-together.

This house is perfect for a large family/friends gathering. So many nice bedrooms and gathering areas. We rent it almost every year and have never been disappointed. We love it’s quiet location at the very north end of Sunriver, although some may prefer to be closer to the recreational activities.

We had a wonderful time at Bittern 5. The house, bikes, pool table, and two dishwashers were awesome features, as well as the beautiful bedrooms and overall decor. Our entire group had a great time and would love to come again (but we're not too sure if we can afford it!) We have already recommended it to others.
The only drawback was the hot tub leaks and the shower door in the Autumn suite needs adjustment.

A reunion of six couples who went to grad school together and had not been together in 55 years. Plenty of space, Loved it even though never used hot tub, foozeball, table tennis, bikes, SHARC tcikets, etc..

8 of us go on an annual golf trip. This was the first year that we got a house so we could all stay together. It was the best. The house fit all 8 of us, we each got a bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of space to do your own thing or together at the dining room table.

THE PROPERTY WAS WAY ABOVE EXPECTATION. WE HAD A GROUP OF 20 PEOPLE. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR EVERYONE. EVERYONE ENJOYED THEIR STAY. KITCHEN WAS WELL STOCKED. WOULD FOR SURE RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE.

We stayed at this house with 20 people - all age ranges! Overall we had a wonderful time!! Few things that we noticed….
1. No kid bikes available
2. Smell from the downstairs hall bathroom was very very bad! Possibly something in the floor vent?
3. Loud high pitched noise from downstairs bathroom would occur when the upstairs toilet was flushed
4. Hot tub needed to be cleaned more thoroughly
5. Dryer did not work well - took a very long time to get towels dry
6. Wonderful cooking supply options
7. Spices available
8. Lots of extra toiletry supplies

We had our annual family gathering here. Brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren. So pleasant that all family groups had their own restrooms so no midnight surprises. Kitchen is stocked for cooking for a crowd. House backs up and looks out on treed area. Lovely home.

Our big group of 20 had a great time here for a ski weekend. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the kids enjoyed the upstairs game room. We would recommend the purchase of a new can opener and note that towels had to be run through the dryer at least 2x to get fully dry. We hope to return next year!

Upon arrival there is the house had a foul pet odor. So bad that we had to go purchase our own mop and mop the kitchen an about 5 times and spray essential oils to help eliminate part of the foul smell. The heater vents smelt like pet every item it turned on. One of the bathrooms was not the cleanest. Definitely not the cleanest house. The kitchen table was also dirty and, we had a brown rag after whipping it down. The house was large and fit our family great. If it wasn’t for the cleanliness of the house it would have been great. We did have quite a few more issues like the gas on the stove didn’t work great. Along with the dryer that didn’t try the towels or clothes great. Sometimes the dryer worked and sometimes it didn’t. The house fit our family comfortably while we made the best of our stay. We would not reserve the house again.

Our family stayed in this large beautiful home and had a great time. It was big enough for our parents and 6 kids and and 7 grandkids. Communication was great and would love to check out Sunriver again in the summer to experience even more of the amenities. The village was a 9 minute drive away and there were tons of trails nearby.

Great stay for multiple families and groups. Everyone has their own sleeping space and bathroom. While the living room and kitchen were ideal for the large group. The property management is quick to respond and helpful. The house was clean and close to trailheads. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful property!! Lots of space for us all. Everyone loved it and want to do this again next year!! My brothers and family rented Bittern Lane #4 and came down from British Columbia so we could all be together and close by to each other. So much fun.
