This was a much anticipated small family vacation. We were looking for a view of the lake and this property seemed perfect, as advertised the view of the Lake was spectacular.. we enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck each day and that memory will be with us forever. It was the best. While the driveway is very steep there is still plenty of parking.. on the negative side we found the dishwasher was out of service when we arrived. We called the manager and within a couple of hours he installed a new dishwasher. I don’t know why at the time we checked in we were not told about the dishwasher as the cleaning crew was just leaving. Were they going to just let it go and see if we complained? Just odd. We could never get the air conditioner to cool off the house to a comfortable level even though we kept the doors and windows closed.. The house temperature remained about 80…. the thermostat was very confusing inspite of the instructions that were taped to the wall. The house needs a thorough deep clean, not just surface clean… at least that was our impression. The kitchen was fully stocked but I think management should go through it all and toss out a lot of older pots and drawers full of too many utensils just thrown together. Knives that are too dull and just plain old. All in all we probably will not return to this property, but the beautiful view will remain with us forever..

We had a wonderful time at the cabin and everything seems to be available to make us comfortable during our stay. The owner is very responsive to messages which was a plus and also very accommodating. 1 star off for the AC not working upstairs and in the bunk bedroom during our stay which I felt like the hottest week ever! Temps were reaching 98-100 degrees during our stay there during August.

Over all great location and great view of the lake. Everything was close by.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. Plenty of room for all of us. The view was wonderful. Close to the water park for the kids. Plenty of beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Everyone enjoyed the game room. The driveway was daunting but doable.

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful mountain home. The view of the lake was gorgeous. The location was very convenient -- just a short walk to the lake, park entrance, and local grocery market. The spacious, comfortable home was filled with everything our family needed to spend quality time together - playing games, dining, movie watching, etc. We would love to visit again! Thank you!

Great place, had enough room for everyone, a clean place, and an amazing view!Only problem I had was with the pool table, some of the pockets had big holes in them so the cue balls fell right through didn’t finish a game so we didn’t damage the floors!Other than that we enjoyed our time there and would like to come back some other time in the future!

We had a wonderful few days up at the cabin for a family get-away It had wonderful views from the balcony and a great fireplace for cozy evenings Everything was just right!

This is a wonderful home with a really excellent view of the lake, overall we had a great time.Pros:Great location, excellent views, updated kitchen, game room is really nice, patio was nice, the bbq is large and works really well and the back room full of bunkbeds is great for kids with two exceptions (see cons). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking and eating, plenty of pots and pans, dishes and silverware. The coffee machine will brew full pots or single serve K-Cups, and there was a nice toaster. The WiFi signal is great and the speed is pretty good, also both TV's are connected to streaming services and both work excellent. Cons:The cleaning crew missed some stuff from the last guests, we found a bunch of beer bottle caps around the house and the dining room table was full of crumbs. The back room with the bunk beds, while great for kids, doesn't have a lock mounted high to keep them from going out the door. Also, it's too far from the other sleeping area's, so maybe not ideal for younger kids. While it is a nice walk to the lake, it's not great with kids, the road is narrow and the locals drive pretty fast, and having to cross Lake Dr. on foot with our kids was really sketchy. While there is plenty of parking, I don't think they emphasize enough just how steep the driveway is, our van was loaded with people and luggage and it was pretty sketchy getting up that driveway. This was the first property that I've rented that didn't provide paper towels, I thought that was strange but not a huge deal. Can't fault the owners for this but the dishwasher was damaged and leaking, a repair person was sent but he was unable to repair it, so we had to hand wash everything. The trash cans don't have lids on them, the last night we were there some animals got in the trash and made a terrible mess. Lastly, taking the trash down the impressively steep driveway to the wooden box was not fun at all.

It’s a quick get away from the city. My family and friends had a great time. Especially our kids, they had fun at the game room. The views from the house is great. We love that the house almost has everything you need except for paper towels and trash bags, which are not provided. But all in all, it’s great.

The cabin was great for a family and friends getaway. When we arrived the cabin was clean and prepared for our stay. The driveway was very steep but there was room for all our cars to park. The view of the lake was great and was not a far walk to get to. Overall my family had a great trip and would recommend.

This cabin is very well located and has an amazing view. You really don’t need to pack many things because the cabin is equipped with the basic necessities. There is a market near by and local eateries which is fantastic. It has a spacious layout that is perfect for big families or big groups. My family really enjoyed our stay. We plan to come back soon.

We visited this Crestline cabin the week of July 6th 2020. It was a getaway from Covid for 3 families (6 adults and 9 kids ranging from 7 to 15 years old). The cabin has a steep driveway however enough space for multiple cars. Upon entering the cabin it was very clean with an open living room and nice kitchen. The cabin was perfect for our families as the kids room had bunk beds and easily accommodated the 9 kids in our party. In addition, the kids enjoyed playing pool, Foosball and the little arcade console. The game room also had a TV and we were able to easily connect a game console with the the HDMI cable. The cabin is conveniently located to Lake Gregory which is an easy walk and close to the grocery store if you need anything. We visited the lake multiple times for hiking and fishing (unfortunately all other activities were closed due to COVID). The best feature of the cabin was the deck which has an amazing view of the lake. We would definitely take this trip again.

Had a Great time at this property. We traveled with 4 adults and 4 teens. The kiddos LOVED The bunk room and there was more than enough space for all of us to hang out together. The full moon really showed off the amazing Lake view this cabin offers. We would definitely look into renting this cabin again.

The view of Lake Gregory is second to none! Large home that can accommodate the whole family. Well stocked kitchen, an abundant supply of towels and extra linens, very comfortable. Owner was a pleasure to work with, very accommodating and quick to reply if there was a question.

Overall, stay was enjoyable and accommodated our large group. The driveway is a very steep incline for veteran drivers. Kitchen very well stocked. If you have pets, letting them out to do their business is a challenge with such a steep Driveway and no grass. It really needs a dog run. The upstairs bathroom needs some updating as the shower has many cracks and the tub does not drain well. The property manager was very good about communication overall. We would come back to stay again if ever in Crestline.

This was our first time doing something like this. It was 3 families a total of 7 adults and 6 kids. We had plenty of room for everyone. The cabin had all the essential needs for our stay which made our stay alot easier and comfortable. Owner was very responsive to all of our needs as well which made it less stressful for me as this was our first time getting a cabin. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Awesome little getaway for memorial weekend. Property owners were easy to get ahold of even let us check in early. No complaints will look to book it again in the near future.

I almost don't want to leave a review so that this can be my little hidden gem! This house has everything you need. Kitchen fully stocked! Bedrooms all with comfy beds and plenty of linens and pillows. Weather was warm when we were there and all the rooms had ceiling fans. We all enjoyed the pool table and foosball table. It was great to sit outside at the end of the day with a glass of wine and overlook Lake Gregory. Lake and town are close enough for you to walk to. Communication with the owners was super easy. I can't wait to have the opportunity to stay there again!

The view from this cabin is hard to beat in the Crestline/Lake Gregory area. There were 16 of us and we were very comfortable. The kitchen was the best equipped of any of the places we’ve stayed over the last 20 years. The owner was very responsive.

What an amazing stay loved everything about it , will be coming back for sure thank you!!

* After i arrived there the owner said no power although the power was not there like one night before but she didnot update me until i arrive to force me to stay , but i did not . * No power , dark house with no lite , not cleaned well because the cleaning company couldn’t take care of it without electricity. * no back up for emergency cases like no engine or no gas heating. * Terrible driveway. ........ More and more unexpected things.
