Location amenities and very beautiful!

Drinks and food a bit pricey

Have been visiting here for years, enjoy the property and location. Front desk checkin staff very welcoming.covered parking a plus.

Prices have gone up considerably with no real increase in amenities. Also could only locate one hot tub for the whole property??

It felt like we were on our own private island. Absolutely beautiful! The spa is exceptional as well. Love that they have an “adults only pool”.

This lodge really felt like a private resort. It was gated to ensure guest privacy. We were greeted at check-in with a free champagne and the staff were all so friendly. It was super clean, well decorated, and had so many amenities, we could have easily stayed longer. The gym was lovely and air-conditioned, providing Pelatons and other high-quality equipment. There were multiple pools, including adult-only, beach access, free kayaks and bicycles, which was one of the highlights of our stay.

Our only complaint throughout the entire stay was the walls seemed to be paper thin in our room. We could clearly hear our neighbor's conversations in the room next to us and knew exactly what TV show they were watching. Because of this awareness, we were nearly whispering in our room so as to not disturb our neighbors. Better soundproofing would be beneficial.

I have enjoyed staying at cheeka Lodge many times. it really is our “go to” weekend getaway!

it’s amazing how returning to one of your favorite spots can have one person change your image of the place. The reason I say this is because that one person was the manager over the pool area. I have never been threatened with having security called, and actually calling them to come over to me at such a high priced resort.  Needless to say, It was pretty embarrassing. The manager, Kivia did not even want to come speak to me when I requested to speak to the manager. Instead, she called security. It was a bit windy, so I understand the safety behind not wanting umbrellas open, but when they are open on the beach side… well that just makes no sense. Especially, when we had it open and it posed no harm.

Friendly staff, great pools there was a games room for the kids.

The restaurants in the hotel were not very exciting. The beach was not smooth sandy. The games room proved very small as it was sadly raining for 2days of our 3days stay.

Location of the room and the room itself was nice.

Lost power, no water which meant couldn't flush toilets. Way too many loud kids! Food was ok, but very expensive.

I loved the location and the many activities offered.
