Location was great, close to restaurants and the supermarket. Convenient parking and not to far to drive to the Skiing at Palisades. Staff were helpful when called on, room was warm enough and comfortable enough.

There was no breakfast as it had been stopped due to Covid. Would have been good to have a microwave where the turntable turned so that it worked properly rather than having to stop and start it a number of times moving the food around to ensure proper heating.

would like to have had a hot tub after a long day of skiing. below ground parking is rather scary given the rusting structure.

Great location, walking distance to most restaurants in Tahoe City, room/bathroom was clean. Staff was helpful and quick to respond when my room had an issue. The room had extra blankets.

The heater in my room did not work, it would not turn on, then it did turn on and it was blowing cold air. The receptionist tried to fix it, but couldn’t. They offered to move my room or bring a space heater. It was 10 PM and I had already unpacked my belongings. I opted for the space heater, which warmed the room up, but couldn’t be left on while sleeping. It was warm with the space heater and despite the heater not working, I would stay here again.

great location, clean, good value. I was not expecting much due to the low reviews, but it was the nicest budget hotel I’ve stayed at in Tahoe. Front desk was nice and efficient.

Unfortunately earlier on day of check in my wife got injured skiing. Called them up right before check in and they let me cancel on extremely short notice! Very nice customer service!! We'll definitely use this place as soon as we can. Very Very understanding!!

The staff who checked me in was really relaxed and friendly, he helped me to charge a different credit card and gave me a room with a better view and bathtub, per my request to have a tub for soaking after long days of snowboarding. The view was a real plus and made my time there very special.

There is no breakfast, and it doesn't sound there has been for quite awhile and since we are past COVID precautions, it feels like a cop out they aren't offering it "due to COVID" They need to take that off their site as an offering.

Location is good as Safeway,CVS is 3-5 minute by walk from this place. The wifi connection was good.

Not so happy with Peppe Treen Inn reason being there was no Service Request. Stayed there for 2 nights. We requested room cleaning service by placing the placard in the door. But, when we returned in the evening after a tiring day, the kind helpdesk person informed me that "We do cleaning only before check-in and post-checkout" Really? This made me think then why the hell placard is placed in the room? I didn't want to get into arguments and requested him over the phone to provide me extra towels, coffee cups but was again disappointed and surprised that I had to go to the office and collect it from the HelpDesk person instead of the hotel guy coming and delivering them to your room. Although the HelpDesk guy said "I could not remember from which Room you called" The condo part where we had been given room had water leakage too which would drip on you if you are not careful or had to take another downstairs to go down. TV was shaky, in such a bad condition that it would fall off if you are not careful. TV Remote sucked .... had to press the button hard to increase volume. When you have kids, we expect that the TV to be working and in good condition if not in great condition. Overall not a good experience.

Good communication from the hotel, onsite parking was available during our stay, even though this is a very busy tourist section of Lake Tahoe. Great room and great view! All for a reasonable price. Our room had a microwave and fridge which came in very handy for us.

I paid $340 for a $70 a night value at this location. Way over priced

nothing actually

the fact that there was no a/c in the room and there was fire smoke all around. only an oscillating fan was provided. Three light bulbs were burned out in our room. the coffee maker had a make-shift carafe which didn't allow the brewed coffee to drip down. (too short) I had to hold the carafe to the coffee funnel. The mattress was soggy. For $321 not a bargain by a long shot. we will not be staying again.

The location was in walking distance to food, shops, and the lake.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms.

Staff was able to answer any questions, price was the best in the area.

There is only a heater in the room, and there is no way to turn it off. (Not fun in the already 85 degree weather) The ceiling fan was nowhere near the beds so going to bed there was no air movement and standing outside felt better than being in the room. There was a nest of baby bugs in the bathroom. Everything was dusty upon arrival. Shower is not consistent… you have to time rinsing… you either get ice cold or scalding hot water. And it just rotates itself through the two. Bed is hard as a rock.
