Far enough out that you can enjoy the quiet outdoor space yet still close to a wide array of entertainment and restaurants. Only down side input from my group was 1 had trouble with the slope of the property. Which was my fault since I never even thought about it when looking for a location.

The cabin was wonderful. Didn’t like the fact that it advertised there was a hot tub and wasn’t one. There was two bedrooms with little to no air, but over all we had a great time.

The directions to get there were a little rough but eventually found it. The cabin was beautiful, had plenty of room for our entire family. It was located very close to the lake. The host was responsive and timely with her responses. We would stay at this cabin again.

This was a great place to relax and spend time with family. It was just ten minutes from trout fishing and ten minutes from the lake. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin immensely.

This home is nice and clean. We loved the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Some games would be nice for the kids but they had fun.

Great cabin nestled in the woods with easy access. We utilized the cabin for a high school baseball trip and it was a great property to retreat back to every evening. Cabin was comfortable with all things needed to make our stay pleasant.

Hickory Ridge Cabin was great for our men's fishing trip. The three queen beds and two bunk beds accomadeted our group of 8 perfectly. The cabin is very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. We also loved the used of the fire pit in the evening. The hills and woods around the cabin were very beautiful and relaxing and the cabin is in great proximity to both Houchatown, and hiking and fishing. We will definitely be back again.

This is close to fishing, shopping, lake and the outdoors.

This place made us want to move to Hochatown! It's just close enough to just about everything you'll want to do in the area and just far enough away to enjoy the quietness of the trees. It rained the last night/ morning of our stay... it was the perfect ending and brought out the beautiful, damp earthiness of southeast Oklahoma to all the senses.
Would absolutely stay here again. Without a doubt recommend anyone else stay here.

Enjoyed our stay! Cabin was immaculately clean. Communication with host was wonderful! We had several questions that were answered promptly. Disappointed that the hammock chairs pictured in the listing were not there and the beds could be more comfortable but overall we had a great time!

Great property, laid out perfectly for our “girls” weekend. It felt very private, yet it took only minutes to get to various activities. We will stay again.

This property is exquisite and really exceeded our expectations in all ways. It has 4 individual bedrooms, one of which can sleep 4 in twin bunk beds so is ideal for a large family or even 2 family getaway. It is nestled in lovely woods with a fire pit and barbeque that we enjoyed. It is very close to all of the canoeing, fishing & hiking of Beaver's Bend State Park on the lake. Highly recommended and would definitely come back!

This was a last minute choice as our party outgrew the state park cabin we had reserved. Excellent location to the park fishing streams. The cabin was bigger than what was expected and very well provisioned with all the needs for our stay. All cooking tools provided and very comfortable. We felt at home.
