I luuuuv this house for kids and friends!

The house is roomy .. but needs updating. There are no tv's in either bedroom and there is no dishwasher. There are a lot of rules and instructions of things to do before vacating posted on fridge that most vrbo's don't require. We have owned two vrbo units and our guests had paid the cleaning fee, so all they had to do was just pack up and walk out the door. Our cleaning service did all thoses chores. There are tiles missing out of the master bathroom floor, no soap for showering.. the front door has dirt smudges on it, brown ,, door needs cleaning or painting. We stayed at this particular unit about 5 years ago with our daughter and kids, it was much cleaner and very cute..it has deteriorated since then except the pool and hot tub was renovated this time, that made the stay worthwhile. But be sure and read your contract good as we failed to do..there is a daily charge to heat the pool and tub. The owners communication was great and the operation of the tub and pool were very modern, so were the access into the house. The home needs updating with lamps on each side of couch in main den area and some cuter pictures on the walls to have more of a beachy feel to make it more fun and homey. I would give this unit a 3 star for now but in the past, it was 4-5 stars.

It was the perfect place to recharge and reconnect, had a 4 night girls trip and it was peaceful when needed but close enough to town for a little nightlife when looking for some fun. Definitely returning to Bay Haven and BSL.

Loved this cozy home! The pool area is a little oasis with all the bamboo. Neighborhood is quiet and in close proximity to literally everything. We will definitely be back!

The stay was great! Visiting many places in the neighborhood. Wonderful shopping boutiques and great food!

This was a wonderful spot and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and inviting. The two living areas came in handy since we were traveling with our young grandchildren. The pool was the cherry on top. Betty was great to work with and gave very good instructions for everything. We would love to come back. Thanks much!

Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and restaurants. Having the bikes available for the guests to use is a great bonus! The pool is heavenly and certainly contributed to our need for “rest and relaxation”

We love it!

We stayed here for Jeepin the coast this past weekend and it was wonderful. My husband and I have stayed in the Bay several times and this house is our favorite to date. The house is the perfect size and such a great layout. The cutest restaurants just a few blocks over and a beach is down the street. I could continue to rave on this property but then everyone would want to book it and I need it available for when we want to stay again 😉 The pool and hot tub, a huge plus most of the surrounding VRBO homes to not have. Thank y’all so much and can’t wait to stay again VERY soon.

Bay Haven was perfect for our family. The pool and back porch are amazing. This is exactly the kind of rental we were seeking. Betty was a great host and communicated perfectly. We will be back!

Place was awesome. Location was super close to the beach and the kids lived in the pool and hot tub. Great place for a family beach trip, we will definitely be back.

Betty was such a kind, helpful host! So many helpful little things included at Bay Haven. Having a pool right in back, to use when rain decided to stop, was so helpful too! And backyard haven is idyllic; perfect for coffee, games, and cocktails! Location is close enough to walk to church, beach, town; but far enough away to feel quiet too!

We really enjoyed our stay at Betty’s house. It was perfect for us. Next time we will stay longer!!! Yes we are already planning a next time. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach. They were all within easy walking distance. We did rent a golf cart however. That was fun too. Check it out. It’s worth it.

Bay Haven was adorable, clean, and filled with many things that showed Betty's careful attention to detail. Betty was a wonderful communicator and answered my (many) questions about the area, etc. We loved Bay Saint Louis and this lovely home. My family loved swimming in the pool!

This home has everything you need or want in a vacation home. Pool with great outdoor seating, sunroom (second living space) with comfy furniture, fast Wi-Fi to make the kids happy, well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds. Loved every minute!

My friends and I spent my birthday weekend in BSL. The location of this rental was perfect. Just blocks from the beach and the downtown area. We rented a golf cart and rode all over town. The house was very clean. Fully stocked with everything you need. Pool was also stocked with lots of floats. Host was very easy to get in touch with. Will definitely be staying here again.

I have complemented Ms. Betty to the point of personal embarrassment. This house has all of the old Bay Saint Louis charm PLUS all of the modern conveniences you could ever want and need. Kitchen is really well stocked for all of your cooking needs, the beds are SO comfortable, the front porch is welcoming and the neighbors walking, riding bikes, etc. we’re so friendly! The security keypad on the front door made us feel particularly safe in a new place. There are locks on the backyard gate. Tons of beach toys in the storage shed, AND THE POOL WITH THE FOUNTAIN is spacious and just steps from the covered, large and well appointed back porch made specifically for comfort and relaxation. There are 2 French doors that open to the back porch which provide a lovely view of the pool. The French doors have 2 locks each to keep youngsters SAFE from accidental access to the pool. Plenty of dresser, closet space, lots of fans and lights and lamps. This review is not complete, but where do I stop? Thank you so much Ms. Betty for the best beach vacation we’ve had in years. We honestly miss your place, the pool and the beach (which is so close by you can see it down the street). The perfect cottage in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, yet minutes from downtown restaurants and shops. Well maintained and pristine cleanliness! The private pool is a major bonus. Looking forward to our next stay.

We were there to enjoy an event in town. (We do this every year). This house was perfect for our small group. We will be renting again next year

This house was all that was promised and more! Convenient location, just faraway enough from downtown area to chill and relax. We spent every evening on the back porch. It was too cool to swim but the sound of the water fountain running on the hot tub was so enjoyable. Bed was super comfy. Owner was so easy to communicate with. Would stay here again. Don't miss the Starfish Cafe (new location), it was the highlight of our stay-the staff and the meal.

Great floor plan for 2 adult couples! We loved everything about this cottage and will definitely visit again!
