Nice experience but vrbo fees are getting too high. We love this place, the laid back nature of Southport, and all the boats.

If you are thinking about booking…just do it!! The property is awesome, very thoughtful extras….not to mention the views are incredible!! Even better than the photos. Such a great location, close to dining and shopping! We brought our 40lb Husky mix, there are dogs and dog lovers everywhere and he loved it. We had a fabulous stay. Can’t say enough!

Pelican’s Harbour is a beautiful property! Overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and Morningstar Marina, it is close enough to walk to restaurants, shops and other attractions in “Downtown historic Southport”. The condo was extremely clean, is well appointed and has everything you need for your stay. We even appreciated the elevator!

The condo was set up very nice, well equipped, comfortable beds, short walk to waterfront eateries combined with an unbeatable view of Cape Fear River. So relaxing any time of the day out on the deck. Laura and Randy hit all the buttons here.

This condo has a beautiful view of the waterfront and intracoastal from the 2nd floor deck. Downtown walking (5-10 min) to over a dozen restaurants plus a seafood market. All appliances in perfect working order and practically new. Cookware, dinnerware, utensils best we’ve seen in a VRBO. Three modern large TV’s and internet all working perfectly. Laura and Randy are the best hosts! We will be coming back- our dog Lily insists! We lived in Southport for 11 years. We know this is the best place to stay for a Southport vacation!

We are so glad we chose this condo for our stay. Loved the deck facing the water. I could stay there for hours. Easy walk to Fishy Fishy and downtown shopping. We enjoyed walking to see the view of the water and Waterfront park. The condo had all we needed. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Super nice Host! We hope to be able to come back to stay here!!

Everything is always super clean and well stocked. A fabulous place to enjoy the views. Wonderful hosts.

The property was perfect with a bunch of extra touches by the host. The king bed was comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows. The living room was roomy with a large TV and open to the kitchen and dining room. The two balconies were large, with great views. And there was even a nice carport and elevator. Within walking distance to everything. HIGHLY recommend.

We come back to Southport 2 or 3 times a year and always stay at this listing. It is always very clean, has a great view, and is a perfect location for seeing the sights of Southport. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at this condo. It was spotless and was very well equipped. It is perfectly located, just steps from all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the view and watching the boats. We will be back again!

There is so much positive about Pelican Harbor! Location is perfect because there is the lovely harbor view from the deck, yet walking for morning coffee is a very pleasant ten minutes,,,walking through the neighborhood is beautiful or walk along the water. The condo is perfect. It is so comfortable and Laura and Randy keep it more than just clean…and I do not say that lightly …they know how picky I am about cleanliness and the condition of everything. From our first stay a few years ago it has always been five star. Pelican Harbor has truly become our Southport home away from home. We miss it the moment we drive away and look forward finding a time for our next visit. Laura and Randy are truly exceptional hosts. Thank you again for another very special stay! See you soon..although not soon enough! 😉

This was our first visit, but not the last! Pleasantly surprised at the beautiful view from the large porch and enjoying the boat launch activity in the harbor. The interior was nicely furnished and with all the necessary appliances, cooking and dishware. Highly recommend!

Lovely clean property with well equipped kitchen. Everything you could possibly need is here. Gorgeous views, walk everywhere! Have stayed here many times! Hosts are great!

The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt like home. The location could not be better. We were within walking distance of restaurants and shops and there were plenty of places to walk our dog. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We are a retired couple and small, elderly dog who have stayed at Pelican Harbor three times since 2020. Each time the unit is clean and comfortable. Laura, our hostess and her husband Randy, leave personalized welcome gifts including the most wonderful soaps that she makes herself. My husband has developed health problems so we depend on the elevator, recliner and proximity to dialysis treatment to enjoy our stay. You also can't beat the entertainment at the marina!

We love out visits to Southport. Laura and Randy are great hosts. The condo is in a great location.

This is the fourth time I have booked this vacation home. As always , I had a wonderful time and plan on returning soon. Location is one of the best in town with views of the harbor to enjoy sunrises and sunsets and walkable to most restaurants. The owners are very communicative and make sure that everything you need is available. I enjoyed every minute of my stay here at Pelican Harbor.

Laura and Randy are outstanding hosts, who care about their guests comfort and show it by giving their guests a beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean place to enjoy during their time visiting Southport. Every detail is thought of for the comfort of their guests. We have stayed at many VRBO properties between MA and FL and when Pelican Harbor isn’t available, in Southport. We rarely return to the name VRBO rental, but Pelican Harbor will always be our first choice. Just had another amazing vacation at Pelican Harbor. Each time I visit Southport , I stay at this well-appointed and comfortable condo , and it never disappoints. The views and neighborhood are some of the best in Southport .The communication with the owners is top-notch. I have booked again for my next visit and looking forward to it already!

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Location is great! Everything needed was available. Plan to be back soon! Elevator works fine and is good for those that struggle with stairs.

We were in Southport for a wedding and wanted a convenient location for events during the weekend. This is one of the best VRBO properties we have ever stayed at. Very comfortable, awesome views and incredibly clean. Randy and Laura provided lots of communication and made check in a snap. We will be back!

We return to Southport every 6 months or so and always stay at Pelican Harbor. We love it here. It is a nice unit, well maintained, a nice view of the harbor, walkable to town and restaurants, and a short drive to the beach. Laura and Randy are always gracious hosts and accessible if we have a question or need help. 5 star!!!!

We had a very relaxing and beautiful stay with the view of the marina and even though the weather did not cooperate most of the time it was still a great opportunity. This is to the owners to check out the television not working very well nor does the regular coffee pot and to look at the stains on the ceiling.Possible leak above. We greatly appreciate the welcome bag and all the other little extras;it is a great place, and we would like to return next year.

We stayed at Pelican Harbor for four nights. This was our 2nd visit at the condo. We just love everything about the condo. It is much more beautiful in person. It is so huge that everybody had room to spread out and just enjoy being together. We spend most of our time on the huge balcony. Loved watching all the activity at the Marina! We just love Southport and we will definitely be back in the near future. The host, Laura, was wonderful to work with, She even left us a goody bag. Thanks Laura!!! See you again soon!!
